love the culture, delicious coffee and relaxing lounge scene. They have real — made in Japan — Asahi beer on tap and also great coffee. There are art happenings time to time and live dh’s. Also cocktails. Yes.

This place was so much fun! The vibes were great and so was the music. Came here on a Saturday night of bar hopping and we didn’t even have to wait on line. I really enjoyed the space here because I rarely bumped into anyone and there were a lot of people here. After looking at some pictures of this place in the day time, it’s pretty cool to see how it turns into a club at night. I will definitely come here again!

All the bartenders were attentive and quick. I ordered a couple cocktails off the menu to kill time before heading to Kinfolk94. The atmosphere is a hit or miss. Either you like it or you don’t. Drinks could have been better.

Nice view, friendly staff, coffee is a bit pricey at 3 something. The place wasn’t open at 9:30 or so on a weekday, so keep some backup in mind if you want to go here. On the weekends they got a DJ spinning funk, soul, disco etc.

This is one of those places that tells you they have working wifi, but after you order a drink a hipster sitting at the side of the bar goes«We keep resetting it, it’s not working.» And then she turns around disregarding you completely. Also their espresso machine wasn’t working.

I was really disappointed when my friends and I were looking for a cool place to have drinks last Friday night. The gentleman checking ID’s at the door informed us that this was a «Jew club» and I may be looking for 94 Whyte Ave where I may feel more comfortable. I am of African American decent, my religious denomination is not as blatant as the color of my skin. I was highly offended and his behavior is a perfect example of the ignorance that is perpetuated today. I did not enter your establishment, I will never enter your establishment nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Good atmosphere during the day. Chill out and read a book or chat with friends. Good prices considering the location. At night it’s a good place to stop in for a drink as you’re hopping from place to place.

There are few undiscovered gems in WB as usefull as Kinfolk café. This is your one-stop shop for a place to work, a beer to drink, a neat neighboring store to shop or a nightclub nextdor to party. The coffee is bangin, the beer is Asahi on tap, and there are olé ty of workplaces and two bathrooms. Good-lookin people just afds that extra step as does the great music. I only reveal this gem as I want it to thrive forever.

We had a wonderful experience at Kinfolk 90, which I will admit I was drawn to on name alone. Delicious coffee, friendly service, great upbeat ambiance(DJ spinning soulful jazz on a Sunday afternoon … yes please!) Also, the avocado toast w fried egg on top is spectacular! The chia seed pudding w/granola was a tad adventurous for my palate, but it was fun.

Cons: horrible wifi. Pros: Great café and cocktail bar to relax and people watch. The venue is very spacious with lots of sunlight. The place has free wifi and makes for a good place to sit down and bang out some work for a few hours. The only downside is that the iced coffee and other drinks are a little pricy. I’d say it’s a good place if your looking for somewhere to relax before dinner or during the afternoon.

Honestly, on a Thursday afternoon stroll through Williamsburg, I was looking for food and was just going to settle on a pastry when I went to MatchaBar, but Kinfolk kind of stood out like a sore thumb… in the best way possible! It was a beacon, an oasis in a rather desolate stretch of the neighborhood. I popped in to a large and airy main eating area, many people perched with papers and laptops. I was eating to go, but was pleased to see a few sandwiches for $ 6, wrapped up and ready to go. I treated myself to a prosciutto with brie on a baguette, and I’ll be damned: that sandwich hit the spot in the most perfect way! From what I’ve read, this space is more poppin’ in the evening, so I can’t wait to come back to see it alive in the nighttime. ;-)

Possibly THE worst experience at a bar I ever had. First of all, this is just a little dive bar in Williamsburg. The staff need to stop acting like they own the world because it’s pathetic. As a bartender myself in the area, I would never treat customers like they treated my friends and me. They were so rude with complete huge twigs up their butts. Get over yourselves! Learn how to interact with humans properly! And $ 15 for a vodka red bull? HAHA!.. BYE!

Came here last night with a couple of my girls. We arrived at 11pm on a Friday night and it was pretty empty. Fine by us though, we chatted with the bartender during the beginning of the night. I think his name was Gee(?), he so sweet and gave a round of shots for free! I got some lemoney drink, did not even taste the alcohol but that drink is strong! Later on throughout the night, it started getting crowded. It was the perfect amount of crowdness, not too crowded where people are bumping into each but enough people that you wont bump into the same person again. The only flaw about the night was the Dj, the music was not dance music. He repeatedly played old school hip hop, which is fun(!) but bring up some dance hip hop songs!

Got dragged to Williamsburg *ZOMG* Anyway, this place is pretty large, I passed by one time last year for Smorgasburg, so I remembered the outside(looks like a large garage door that allows the space to become open in the summer). This coffee/espresso shop turns into a lounge-y bar at night(where they still serve coffee). If you’re looking for non-mainstream music, this is the place to go. Although the DJ is a fun guy, I am not a huge fan of this type of music(*non-hipster’s opinion*). Either way, there are a bunch of clubs and stuff around the corner, as well — so if you want to check out a night around Brooklyn, you can start here.
