The food is really good, but I especially liked the décor here; it reminded me of restaurants I’ve been to in Spain.

Went there for the second time for dinner on Saturday before a Brooklyn show. There were 11 of us and they could not be more accommodating. Mauricio, who is the owner, waiter and entertainer, was truly a great host. He was attentive, funny, ensured that we always had tasty drinks and made great food suggestions. The food was delicious again. The meats come from local NY farms, they have organic wines. The cocktails are creative and tasty. The food did take a while to get prepared but that was expected since our group was large. We did not mind at all :) Thanks Sasha(chef) and Mauricio for doing such great job caring for us!

Went here for brunch the other day. Was craving a bowl of pasta. They had a simple home made pasta in sauce that was brilliant. One of the best I have had in the past few years. Will be back for that frequently

Stick to the pasta. Arancini was so small and couldnt find a grain of rice or cheese. Three marbles of bread crumbs :(Service was friendly but food came out before drinks so not very professional considering the prices. Its too bad because the ambiance is very cute and warm.

Incredible food for brunch, with superb service. Mole eggs, mofongo and torta all amazing. So friendly. They even opened the bathroom door for me.

Stopped in for brunch after having dinner here a few years ago, don’t know why we haven’t been back sooner. The food here is so good and the staff is wonderful, prices are very reasonable especially for the quality. Home baked breads and house-made hot sauce… There’s a lot of great places to eat on this block, this one shouldn’t be missed.

Five star service, as others have mentioned. I was less of a fan of the food — in full disclosure I got Miranda mixed up with Café Collette across the street, and was expecting French food, so keep that in mind. There was tasty, complimentary focaccia but my salad was pretty simple — I had the market greens salad which supposedly came with«spiced beets, shaved ricotta salata, marinated mushrooms, sherry vinaigrette,» but I mostly tasted the greens and little else. However, it was a roomy restaurant that was not at all packed, and again, the service was great — both things that differentiate Miranda from other Williamsburg spots. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet and comfortable place to have a date or catch-up night.

This place has still got it. We came here for our first dinner in Brooklyn about a year ago, and went back tonight. The Italian/Mexican fusion sounds strange but it really works. Treat yourself to the cheese plate, each cheese we had was mouthwatering. The fresh bread was an excellent touch as well. I usually don’t give the full five stars but what tipped this place over the edge for me was the service. We were served by a gentleman whose enthusiasm for the menu was irresistible.

I had the loveliest dinner at Miranda! I was dining solo during my first trip to NYC and staying in Williamsburg. Stumbled upon Miranda and enjoyed the stellar service and pleasant ambiance. My entrée was delicious(branzino) and I practically licked the plate clean. I had a surprise dessert, which was absolutely sumptuous(pannacotta). The chef was amazing. Though it was my first trip to New York, I have dined in Los Angeles, Barcelona/Madrid, Paris, Seattle/Vancouver, Berlin, and many other cities and found Miranda to be top notch. HIGHLYRECOMMEND.

My first experience at this restaurant Is what has brought me to write a review on Unilocal. My friend and I went in for brunch since it was the only not crowded place around Bedford. We both ordered the mangú eggs, which we unfortunately did not like because of the overcooked taste we got from it. Nonetheless, when we asked our server if it was possible to exchange the dishes(since they did not meet our expectation) there was no hesitation and we were brought the menu back to pick a dish that we would like to order instead. Not only was our server extremely nice and patient, but the restaurant itself sent our table a Tres leches on the house for any inconvenience that was caused. Talk about customer service! We both left incredibly satisfied with our second dish choices and very happy to see such a great staff. I would come again to this place no doubt! And would recommend it to anyone!

Came in for Saturday brunch. The staff were very hospitable. The bloody mezzanine(substitute vodka w/mezcal) was very flavorful. I highly recommend the pernil with eggs. I definitely will be coming back to try their dinner menu.

Totally tasty, genuine Italian fare in unpretentious community environment. Great red wine checklist. Well-informed sommelier. The white-colored truffle noodles — whilst a little costly at $ 100 for each part– is incredible. Excellent services. Will certainly come back.

Went back in last weekend and it has only gotten better. I tend to stick with pastas but everything on the menu is delicious. The bread and olive oil with sundried tomato paste the give before the meal is also amazing. Wonderful service and the owners are super involved — their care shows through in so many ways.

We came here for dinner on New Year Eve with a reservation that wasn’t even necessary. The service as most Unilocalers mentioned was spectacular. We were quite excited to try this spot, as we came here once in the past, but was unable to get a table. Perhaps, the high ratings set our expectations high, but our overall experience with the food was just mediocre. Here’s what we ordered for the Appetizer: 1. Grilled Baby Octopus and Arugula Salad($ 14) — Wild arugula, avocado, cucumber, pickled shallots and jalapeños Verdict: We really enjoyed this octopus salad and thought it was the best thing we ate here. The portion was pretty big, as there were a bunch of juicy baby octopi lying on a bed of greens. The dish was light and zesty. This was definitely a great start of our meal. … For Entrée: 1. Medialuna($ 23) — Wild mushroom and ricotta filled«half moons», white truffle oil 2. Duck Breast($ 29) — Pan seared Long Island duckling, creamy polenta, Tuscan kale, chile de arbol sauce Verdict: It was the entrees that sent our meal downhill. Perhaps, we ordered the wrong dishes, but we were not impressed by them(especially, compared to that appetizer). The medialuna pasta smelled and tasted like what we expected: super truffley. The pasta was tasty, but after eating a few of those«half moons», the dish was quite mundane. Perhaps, an appetizer-size of this pasta would be more appreciated. The pasta was surprisingly not heavy, as I expected from the ricotta. As for the Duck Breast plate, the meat was tender(but quite bland). There was an abundance of polenta, which was really filling and heavy. I would much prefer rice or couscous, rather than the polenta. My favorite part of that dish was the Tuscan Kale. I probably wouldn’t return back to Miranda, but it was worth a try.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. Italian/Latin fusion– what could be better? Amazing fresh ingredients, unique(but not intimidating) combos, and fantastic cocktails. Every time I come home to NYC this place is one of my first stops. There is no bad dish, but my favorite menu items are the basil cocktail, chorizo arancini, media Luna, risotto, and tres leches. The ambiance is very romantic but still cozy and homey. The manager and owners are super sweet and Valentino is the best!

That wasn’t a very good experience in this place. To begin we ask for some mixed drink and a glass of wine have to wait over ten minutes or more to get our drinks. Then asked for a cheese plate, this was a joke… Paper thin slices of cheese. Then the main course a very small portion of food… I went the to have a dinner, not for a tasting… Don’t waist your time and money on this place.

It’s not that this place is bad, it’s just, not as great as it really could. The menu is alright, there’s some good looking dishes. I wouldn’t come back though. The pasta was over cooked and too sweet

These guys are amazing! I met Mauricio(the owner) while getting drinks and he was so incredibly service oriented and friendly that we got a round of dinner. They have food that’s a Mexican Italian fusion– with homeade pasta, focaccia, and from my experience delicious margaritas and sangria. And the risotto was amazing– a perfect amount of spicy-ness, veggies, kale, peppers, sundries tomato past etc. these guys are amazing– come stop by on Berry street, it’s a must!(And get a margarita with the homemade spiced pepper salt — superfood! You must come here! Delicious!

Wonderful brunch. We stopped by just before opening and they happily sat is. Glad we got here when we did because it quickly filled up with many who had reservations. The frittata was wonderful and they make a proper cup of tea which was a delight. Can’t wait to go back.

Miranda was decent. It’s cute and the waitress was attentive and friendly, but the food was mediocre at best. Very disappointing. Everything was bland. It’s VERY overpriced. Was actually in awe when the bill arrived. I went for dinner at 9pm on a Friday. I was one of two tables there, the other table wasn’t even eating. Not exactly a good sign considering it’s right in the heart of North Williamsburg. Too bad! I wanted to love it since all these reviews were so promising!

Miranda is great! I was a bit confused at first by the atmosphere(is this place Mexican or Italian?) but I quickly warmed up after hearing the specials! To start they brought out fresh homemade bread(you get to pick which kind you want) with a sundried tomato/olive oil mixture and then our appetizers came. We had a cheese plate, along with the market salad, which included string beans, baby spinach, heirloom tomatoes and corn. For dinner we each had a pasta dish — both so amazing we practically licked the plates clean. I loved the butterfly pasta with mixed vegetables. We were too full for dessert but I can’t wait to go back. Service was good too :)

Miranda is off-the-charts brilliant. This place really felt like a true European restaurant to me. The ambience, the atmosphere, the environment was fully Spanish… from the staff who spoke at normal volume(instead of our American normal of loud), to the European accents from the clientele, to the Spanish style décor. The portions were European small(and that’s a good thing). The food was presented wonderfully and tasted fresh. Lots of great Spanish and Latino items on the menu, including mangú(mashed plantains) and Chorizo. The brunch menu also includes sangria, something you won’t find at every brunch place. And the cheese menu for dessert was excellent. I’m so happy for stumbling upon this place.

Service! Awesome! Ambience great. Food really good. Portions small. Prices large. Was here last night with friends and family. Made reservation on open table which was ready when we arrived. The service is fantastic. Water glasses refilled. Great cocktails. Cheeseboard and small plates varied and delicious. Entrées flavorful if a bit small. Desserts were delicious. No complaints, however, the bill was quite higher than we imagined it would be.
