Great food. Great beer. Great place. Some of the worst service I’ve ever had. Had to get up and order my own drinks from the bar to bring to the table I was being served at. The bartender was a miserable wench.

Really liked the place. Went for drinks with some friends this past weekend (finally warm weather!). The outside area is very cool, and they offer a drink stand with frozen drink which is also a great feature.
One thing I’d say is that the inside doesn’t seem too appealing on its own, don’t know how much I’d hang out there during inclement weather…

Excellen vibes awesome staff, amazing drinks, excellent atmosphere, HOTEST SPOT IN WILLIAMSBURGH. AWESOME back yard for gatherings diversed crowd.

Came here pre-​summertime this yr. It’s definitely a hipster bar. I dig it! The outside venue is cool. It kinda looks like a penitentiary with the tall brick wall and fence around the place lol, but it’s visually different and appealing. Lotsa guys with their man buns. It was packed during memorial weekend, on a Saturday afternoon. They have them twinkling lights to light the place at night. It’s purty!

This is a great bar, run by great people! I’ve been here at least 20 times and had a blast every time. Bartenders and waiters are always very kind, even when my mom is driving them nuts! :)
I had my birthday party here, had such a great experience that I threw my BFF’s bday here as well.

I’ve been here a couple times and did not enjoy it. Staff is rude, place is dirty and the atmosphere is crowded. They don’t even have good happy hour specials.

Let me preface this with: I am fine. I’m going to be fine. I got lucky because my friends were there to help. I would say «this sort of thing doesn’t happen to people like me,» but the truth is there’s not a certain kind of person it happens to. It just happens because there are shitty people in the world.

A man brutally attacked me, and the only reason I’m not dead or in a coma is because my friend stepped in and fought for me. At the end of the scuffle I grabbed my mace and hit him with it, and the truly lovely men who work at Crown Vic told me that they WOULD NOT get me ice. Would not get my friend ice– That I should be careful with my mace, it «could have hit *them*» And *my favorite* comment «it’s shocking I don’t get punched in the face more often by men since I’m ‘so annoying.’»
To be fair, I can be hella annoying, but being the victim of a crime should not be seen as annoying. Should not give license to a manager to GET IN THE FACE of a woman on the sidewalk outside of his bar and say she deserves more of the same. NO ONE deserves to be abused and the fact that three grown men watched a woman get punched in the face and refused to help her is reason for me to believe that they aren’t looking out for you and they absolutely WILL NOT protect you if you go there. You will get roofied. You will get raped. And they will blame you for it. There are plenty of bars to chill with friends in that neighborhood. DO NOT RISK GOING TO CROWN VICTORIA BAR AND BEER GARDENS IN WILLIAMSBURG. It might save your life.

This place has the ambiance of The Park on Fremont located here in Vegas, combined with games/​fun/​energy of Gold Spike. It was really cute and it was nice to finally be somewhere where you could smoke LOL. I’m not used to that. Beers were decently priced and staff was friendly.

I really did fall in love with this outdoor bar in the south side, I definitely would come back here in the summer through fall.
I like how there is a patio with bbq style benches in the front [super colorful] with umbrellas for shade, and indoor dining room and bar, and another larger backyard which could host events [went here for a lyft party] and has outdoor waitresses, bar and hosts. This place is lively, unique, fun, with a beautiful setting from lights and lanterns to toss the sack games and a not so pretentious laid back vibe how could you not want to chill at a place like this?
the place does have duvel, PBR, modelo and lots of weird draft options you cant find anywhere else.
they also have comfort food and southern style dishes, and on sundays they do have pig roasts and bbq’s, cant complain about this!
one star is taken off for the rocks in the backyard, ouch lol.
this place is great for drinks after work or for a party with friends or even a laid back date.

I came here for a post finals celebration with my classmates this past Thursday afternoon. Their were probably about 30 of us and they were very able and willing to accommodate us in their backyard patio. It was a hot and sunny day but they graciously reserved 3 – 4 picnic tables under their awning.
Their happy hour ran from 4−7pm and offered various beers for 4 dollars, all of which I thought were just ok. It’s also worth noting that the beers in the backyard cash-​only patio are limited compared to the beers inside at the credit card friendly bar. As such, I opted to walk inside to the bar to grab my drinks.
The space was nice and casual. I would revisit if I had a big group in need of a big roomy space.

Hipstas everywhere! Stumbled upon this large colorful picnic filled lot when we had some time to kill. Walked over to a shack and ordered a bourbon lemonade slushy. not bad. there was a taco truck on other side of lot. we chilled at a table and got asphixiated by the smokers… then left.

NIce place in the area, but I have experienced better.
Was not a fan of the bourbon slushie.
I have heard that their tacos are out of this world and that I have to try them, especially the vegetarian taco.
This place is ideal to go with a group of friends. Not really a place to meet new people.
Bathroom lines inside are too long.

The pitchers of beer are good and the backyard spacious, but the poor service is a turnoff. The waitstaff take their time with orders, so bring your utmost patience. Eat before you arrive or bring a granola bar or snack, because there’s no food in the backyard.
The food at the bar or front area is poorer quality than your local Applebee’s. Because I was starved, I ordered the fish tacos and fried green tomato sandwich. The tacos were edible but the sandwich was meh. The goat cheese overpowered the sandwich and the fries were overdone. Come only for the pitchers of beer (don’t wait on individual drinks; plus the mixed drinks are bleh) and the company of your friends in the spacious backyard area!

The outdoor seating and backyard are both really nice areas — simply because it’s just nice to be able to sit outdoors and take in some good weather with a nice cocktail and pleasant company. Aside from that though, the service is terribly slow. My husband and I were there to enjoy a drink before heading into the LES and we were just one of four tables seated outside (the inside was completely empty) and it took 25 minutes for us to get our drink. We were not necessarily in a rush, but I ordered a seltzer water along with my cocktail and that didn’t come out any sooner. In no bar on earth should it take anyone 25 minutes to receive seltzer water — ESPECIALLY when you have 5 customers in the establishments.
Just for that reason alone, I really don’t think I’d be back.
Fast forward to the cocktails and mine was pure lime juice. I don’t think the bartender ever poured the tequila in and tequila is the kind of liquor you can absolutely taste in a mixed drink but it was pure lime juice. It was barely digestible, it was just acidic. Terribly made cocktail. My hubby’s drink was only slightly better, you could taste the whiskey but it was so watered down. Perhaps it had been sitting for a while (like maybe ‘23 minutes?) who knows? I also found it to be very pricey — those two drinks cost us $ 22 and you’re not paying for ambiance or a view so I don’t see the need for it to be so pricey.
I’ll pay according to the atmosphere and service — this place lacks both.
The only thing this place has going for itself is the physical space itself. Aside from that, the service is terrible, painfully slow and the drinks are poorly made and lack any kind of gusto.
If I ever did come back, I might just stick to wine or beer and even then, if the service continues to be sub-​par and so lackadaisical I doubt I’d ever return.

Ehhh, not sure how I feel about this place.
Granted, I went on the first nice day that we’d had all year so it was jam packed. With only one bar and limited outdoor wait service, getting a drink proved to be pretty difficult. And if you had to go to the bathroom, your choices were to stand for 20 minutes on the actual bathroom line or brave the pot a potty (which, at times still had a line).
The space itself is cool. There are bathtubs full of dirt and plants, umbrellas, tables and chairs that make you feel like you’re just straight up chilling in someones very large backyard. Not sure that I’d brave the bathroom lines again just for these things though.

Crown Victoria is one of the largest outdoor bars I’ve ever been to and I can’t wait for warmer weather to take full advantage of it. I was impressed with their front patio area full of picnic tables but when I went through the bar area to their back yard I was blown away with the space. The place used to be an auto repair yard, the yard still has that industrial vibe which is further highlighted with a mix-​match of seating including but not limited to picnic tables, lawn furniture, and bistro type iron furniture. Technically they have bocce but as it’s in a lane of sandbox type sand it’s really more of a new hybrid bocce/​lawn darts kind of game. I did see a waiter come and bring some people outside drinks but I was never approached so perhaps you have to eating (they have a full menu) to get service. Speaking of food they do have a $ 22 unlimited brunch on the weekends and from what I’ve heard, pig roasts on Sundays (as of last year anyway).
In terms of drinks, they have over 20 beers on tap, many of which are unique options from micro breweries around the country. Most beers are $ 6 though they do have some $ 5 and $ 7 options. It would certainly be much better if all their beers were $ 1 less and I suspect they would have a higher Unilocal rating if that was the case. That being said, all beers on tap are $ 4 until 7pm M-​F, that certainly makes for a much better deal. As there were so many beer options I wasn’t familiar with, it would have been nice to have a beer sheet explaining each one a little rather than having to bother the bartender with an explaination or taste.
The place definitely has its downsides but overall a trip to Crown Victoria this summer is unavoidable.

While beer gardens are a dime a dozen in Brooklyn, this place offers a lot variety to accommodate almost any taste and preference, and has an awesome large backyard to boot.
This place has three areas for drinking, front yard, a dimly lit nice inside, or the huge backyard which has a taco truck, tons of tables, games, photo booth and a lot of standing space.
We tend to stick to the backyard when we come here because of all the space.
The one annoying thing here is in order to get food at the taco truck, you need to first wait in line to buy tickets at the drink area and then go and wait in line at the taco truck again to use those tickets… The tacos are worth it though, the fish tacos here are amazing, crunchy and juicy.

The cocktail list here is very good, I usually go inside and get the drinks myself at the other bar, but you can also order from a waitress outside.

I came here last night for one drink before our dinner reservations at another restaurant. We wound up ordering an appetizer to try.
The beer selection is wide, cocktail list is very intriguing. My boyfriend and I each ordered a glass of Rose (we stumbled in on Valentine’s Day). I have never been to a bar to order a glass of Rose… only at the vineyards. I must say, I probably won’t do that again. In the future, may order one of their cocktails that caught my eye.
We were disappointed we were not able to order the grilled cheese bites (late night menu only). We wound up ordering the nachos (without meat). The nachos were absolutely delicious!!! I did not see any avocado, but they were still really nice.
The ambiance was lovely. It was almost 0 degrees last night, snow on the ground, and we stumbled in here for the first time because it was close to the restaurant where we had reservations. The fireplace was a really nice touch. Our bartender was friendly, not too overbearing, or talkative.
I will most definitely be coming back!

I was here briefly for a Unilocal affiliated event hosted by Duvel over the summer. Complimentary glasses of Duvel and you got to keep the glass! Hotdog. Free Duvel shirts. Of course I chose the one with the puppy. They even had a huge tractor set up making roll on giant ink prints. The bar itself though seems neat and if I were to venture all the way out to Williamsburg I’d think I’d make a point of checking it out again. Large backyard area with picnic tables and either taco trucks or belgium frites are on hand. On weekends they have a $ 22 unlimited drink brunch special. Late night week day specials after 11pm for beer/​burger for $ 10. Can imagine that’s only useful if you live in the hood or if you are on a weekday rager. Decent selection of beers. Only tried their fries here so can’t speak for the food.

Crown Vic is a super cool space with an amazing backyard. Take advantage of it before it gets too cold!
Picnic tables, excellent beer selection, and reasonably friendly staff.
