I switched to this dry cleaner based on a friend’s recommendation. I’ve been pleased with the service. And the hours work with my schedule. I’ve had both my husband’s and my clothes cleaned here. I’ve always been satisfied with the cleaning. I’d recommend this place for dry cleaning.

Went again to Coleman C. & Co. this week and had great service as usual. I was also informed that there are multiple pricing structures, with less expensive options for dry cleaning services if you don’t want«next day» pick-up. This is good to know, and I will definitely ask next time I visit the store because I’m typically not in a hurry to pick up my clothes when I drop off dry cleaning… but I’m always up for saving a dime! :)

I’ve only used their drycleaning, but they do a really good job. The owner always remembers my name – I never have to reach for my ticket. And they do all of the cleaning on site, so the order is never incomplete. AND he always has it ready for me hours early.

Not going back. I dropped off a bag of clothes and got it back in 24 hrs, which was great. They guy at the desk was very nice and friendly. It cost $ 22, which is a lot, but that’s fine, because I was in a hurry. Here’s what’s NOT fine: not separating the lights from the darks. Someone just threw them all in one load. I had a white towel, a white t-shirt, and a white hoodie in the bag, which are now ruined. I rarely drop off my laundry, so I don’t know if this is standard practice, but here’s what I do know: this is bullshit, and I’m not going back. (Later) It occurred to me it wasn’t fair to post this without giving them a chance to repair the damage. I brought one stained white towel, one white hoodie, and one white T-shirt. They took them to try to fix the stains and said they would call me. It has been several weeks now. I plan to stop by soon to ask what’s going on. As per Laura’s post below, I have already printed out information on exactly what each item cost. It will cost $ 138.80 to replace the items. I’ll keep you posted, Unilocal! (Later later) They never called so I showed up 3 weeks after dropping the stuff off. The good news: they didn’t demand proof of what everything cost. And they really did try to clean the stains. The towel and t-shirt looked great– no stains. The hoodie looked mostly AMAZING(almost cleaner than when I bought it)…BUT its stains were still plainly visible. They didn’t charge me, but before I left, the guy reiterated that this happened because I gave them a laundry bag containing dark and light items in the first place. So it was my fault. Uh huh. Not going back.

I only ever take my clothes here for dry cleaning, so I can’t speak for their wash & fold services. Overall, I like the place. The guy at the front is always nice to me and although I’ve only been a few times, he remembers what I’d dropped off a couple days prior before I can even pull out my dry cleaning ticket. The prices are reasonable, and he has been honest with me about the condition of what I drop off. The first time I ever dropped my stuff off there, I had a really bad stain on one of my dress vests. He mentioned it to me when I came to pick it up — said they tried to remove it but there was still a faint stain. I took a look for myself, and I couldn’t even *find* the stain he was referring to — so, good work there. The last time I dropped my clothes off, I had a torn shirt in the pile — I am horribly abusive to my clothes, and I happened to catch a button hole on something sharp and tore it by accident. I never mentioned it to him because, well, i just wanted it cleaned and I didn’t think it mattered. When I came back for the clothes today, he pointed out the damage and said that he didn’t want to clean it unless I really wanted him to [obviously protecting himself in case I wanted to come back and blame him for it; can’t say I blame him there]. I said I had known of the tear, and he offered to clean AND fix the tear if I wanted to… and that if I tell him of clothes that are damaged he can be more careful with them, or fix them… whatever I wanted to do. I thought that was pretty nice. :)

Avoid This Business! I brought two bags of laundry for Wash and Fold. They said it would take 24 hours, but it took three days. When I got it back, ¼ of my clothes were missing! All of the blacks/darks were gone, except for one shirt which was returned with bleach stains on it. My best guess is that they accidentally spilled bleach on my darks and, rather than return them damaged, they simply threw them out and hoped that I wouldn’t notice. Unfortunately, when I did notice, they denied, lied and never once offered to fix it or reimburse me. At first, they said I had given them two bags and they were returning two bags. I pointed out that I gave them two full bags and they were returning one full bag and one half-full bag. I also pointed out that all of my black t-shirts, socks, boxer-briefs and shirts were missing. Clearly, there was a missing load. Then they changed their tune… Maybe something was missing but since they outsource their wash and fold, it wasn’t their fault, it was some other company’s. Poor excuse, since I paid them and they never mentioned sending it to someone else, but still… wanting to find my clothes, I asked for the contact info for the«other company.» They didn’t give it to me, but they said they would call and inquire. They said they called to inquire and the«other company» didn’t have any knowledge of missing clothing. I gave Coleman a list of the clothes that were missing — black and red American Apparel shirt, black Calvin Klein shirts, black Calvin Klein boxer-briefs, etc. They said they didn’t have it, sorry. They never once offered to reimburse me, they didn’t offer to waive or discount what they had charged me for the rest of the load, and they were very cagey and protective of information, making it difficult for me to even get a lead to follow to find out where my clothes were and if I could retrieve them. There was one black/dark that came back with my load, a black collared shirt that was returned with new white/gray stains on the shoulders. The shape and saturation looks like bleach was applied or spilled directly onto the area, leaving it with a bleach stain. My best guess is that somebody accidentally spilled bleach on my darks and ruined them. It’s unfortunate that, instead of owning up to the situation and simply reimbursing me or giving me a credit of some sort, they tried to lie and cover it up. People make mistakes all the time and I would have been happy to deal with the situation as a friendly patron, but covering up and lying made that impossible.
