Had lunch there Sat. 6−18−16. Good food, good service. I had the bean burger, roasted potatoes, creole slaw, and the house IPA. All good. I thought the beer was really good. My wife had the turkey sandwich and the slaw. She said these were good also. The place was clean and there were no mindless TV sets blaring anywhere. This was our first time at the restaurant and we would go back.

This place was awesome! I had one of their burgers with spicy sweet potato and it was amazing. Well cooked. Also tried 4 of their draft beers which were also decent. My wife had the salmon and roasted potatoes which was also very tasty. I will probably be back very soon.

Had the Blue Ridge burger and it was incredible. It was so big I had to eat it with a knife and fork, which is usually a put off for me. The Cajun slaw gave it quite a kick. My wife had the shrimp Mac and cheese and she almost licked the bowl!

My friends and I stopped here on the last night we were in town. After enjoying an amazing few days in the area, we wanted a nice meal together. They really delivered!!! We started in the back bar with some house beer. The bartenders were exceptional! After being seated, the server took our orders. She was extremely knowledgeable and tried her best to make our visit amazing. It really was! All of our dishes came out, as ordered. I had the lamb. It was superb! We all left extremely satisfied. We will be back next year when we visit! Thanks so much!

Great beer, sat at the bar the staff was very friendly and helpful in choosing a house brew. I chose the mango pineapple hefeweizen, light fruity flavor not too heavy perfect with my burger.

Loved this place — stopped in with a group of friends for a late lunch. Their selection of beers brewed there were great. Loved the different areas to sit in — restaurant-like section, bar section & outdoor courtyard. The beer cheese dip with pretzel bites was spot-on. The flatbread of the day was good, but not great. Burgers were reported to be delish. Hummus with warm pita was really tasty too. All in all a good experience and food a step above typical brewery/bar fare.

Recommended to us by the leasing office for the cabin we were staying in. Pros: beer, friendly wait staff, nice outdoor seating area. Cons: the food. I ordered the Kobe beef burger and was not impressed. The meat was cooked alright, but was very bland. We ordered the crab dip appetizer and it was ok. I would have expected better tasting burgers for a place that claims they specialize in burgers.

Where do I start? With the raging drunk man who was so intoxicated at 7 at night that he started vomiting next to us while we were eating? Or how our food took an hour to get to us? And was cold by the time we started eating it? First off, the hostess told us it would be an hour and a half wait for a table and that they didn’t have anything available. The restaurant was empty. Okay… So we’re told that we can check the bar and outside seating area to eat since it is first come first serve. There is seating available outside since it’s chilly, so no big deal, we sit down. It takes a while for our server to come talk to us and bring us menus. That’s fine. We order our drinks. Then it takes a while to bring our drinks out. I ordered a hot tea. The first time she brought out my «hot» water, it was warm. If you’ve ever steeped tea in your whole life, you know that it needs to be at least somewhat below boiling to actually steep tea. Otherwise, your tea bag just sits there and does nothing. And she forgot the tea bags. When she came out to bring me another cup of actual hot water, she forgot honey, but we finally get to place our food order. While waiting an hour for our food, a mega super drunk guy comes out to the patio and starts yelling at everyone. It’s 7pm. Not 10 o’clock at night. 7pm. He starts yelling at everyone and trying to get us to chant something for him. Nobody pays him any attention, hoping if he’s ignored, he’ll go away. Nope. Then he starts yelling at us, cursing at everyone on the patio, calling everyone«f-ing liberals,» who are probably supporting Bernie Sanders blah blah blah(um, what???). He goes back inside. When our waitress comes back, I tell her what happened. She just laughs and says, «Oh that’s probably so-and-so, he’s a regular and he’s harmless.» … Okay, so it’s normal for your regulars to harass and curse at people while they’re eating? We waited almost an hour for the food to get to us. I took a bite into my side of potatoes and they were already lukewarm. At this point, we were all so hungry we just started eating it. While we are eating, drunk guy comes back out again. This time he stumbles down the walkway to the side of the building, which is like twenty feet from where we’re eating. And then he starts vomiting. Horrible, terrible vomiting sounds. While we’re attempting to eat food. Needless to say, I wasn’t very hungry after that. He comes back, wiping his mouth off with the back of his hand(EW) and then leaves. My family meanwhile tries to finish their food and then we wait for our checks. The waitress comes back and takes our checks to ring out, and the vomiting guy comes back to vomit some more. While he is doing so, the waitress comes back with our card. I try to tell her what has been going for the SECOND time. She goes around the building and sees that it is not, in fact, «So-and-so» and tells us, «Oh, yeah, that happens you know since we are a bar, too. That’s not even the worst thing that has happened here…» and proceeds to tell us an even«worse» story about a guy who peed on their building while diners were onlooking. Okay. So let’s some this up: Blue Ridge Brewery is not a cool place. It’s a gross place. Where they let people pee and vomit all over their building and don’t do anything about it when customers pipe up. I wish them the best on that business model.

It was just OK. Went in to sit at the bar and watch some March Madness games. … they didn’t have any TV’s. But we were not really disappointed in that… because they had beer flights… BUT… I’ve never been to a bar that had flights that didn’t let you choose which beers you want. They called it «bartender’s choice»… which means the bartender picks the 4 beers you get. I dont like hoppy beers nor Ales… so I didn’t risk the«bartender’s choice» being a few of those and I would be stuck with beer I really didn’t like. So we passed and left and went to another place down the road. If they change… then we will give them another try.

Our party was sadly disappointed after stopping into the brewery for an early dinner. The service was good, but the food was definitely lacking. As the fish, burgers and salads were«ok» we all were having high hopes for the bourbon collard greens on special — hey, we’re on GA, they must know how to do their greens right, right? Wrong! Covered in too much cumin, you couldn’t even taste the green itself. Glad we stopped in to try the local beer, but definitely would not recommend.

Very good food but the food prep was a little slow like others have mentioned. We were seated and provided drinks immediately and out order was taken quickly but it did take a while for our food to arrive. The staff is very friendly. If you want fast food, go somewhere else by if you have an hour or two to enjoy food and drinks, it’s worth the visit. I had a group of four and everyone ordered a different dish and everyone was pleased. I’ll come back.

I couldn’t make a trip all the way to the mountains of North Georgia without trying a local brewery. Blue Ridge Brewery is sectioned off into two parts — the front is a full service, sit down restaurant, the back has two bars and some hightop seating. We were more interested in the beer than anything else, so we decided to have a seat at the bar in the back. We ended up trying everything of theirs on tap that day(and were pleased to see some familiar guest breweries on tap too — cigar city being one of them). All of their beers on tap are $ 5.00 each. Kolsch — the more beer I drink, the less I like lighter beers, but this was one decent. I’m not am expert by any means and I don’t think I’ve had a Kolsch before, so I don’t have much to compare it to. This one wasn’t my favorite, but again I prefer porters now. I give it 3 stars. Pumpkin Knocher — another lighter beer, more flavor from the pumpkin. I give it 3 stars. Peanut Butter Porter — my favorite and the one I stuck with for most of the night. Rich and dark with notes of chocolate, peanut butter and coffee. I give it 4 stars. Blood Ale — a red ale, of the lighter beers this was my favorite. More body and flavor. I give it 4 stars. After trying so many beers, we decided we definitely needed some food to soak up the alcohol. Mushroom Feta Burger($ 10.95) — They cooked it a perfect medium rare, something that many restaurants don’t achieve in a burger. It was juicy, the meat well seasoned and I loved the bun. We ordered it with spicy sweet potatoes, which were also delicious. Shrimp Mac & Cheese($ 9.00) — The macaroni was cooked perfectly, still with a bite and not mushy. I loved the combination of cheeses they use, but the salad shrimp(the very tiny ones) were overcooked and a bit rubbery. Crab Dip($ 10.00) — We originally wanted the beer & cheese dip with pretzels, but were told they were out of pretzels. This was a good alternative, served with warm pita and a ton of lump crab meat. If/when I’m back in Blue Ridge(the city is gorgeous, so I’m sure I’ll be back), I would definitely come in here again for another few beers and some appetizers.

My wife and I have been coming here since it opened when the town dropped it’s prohibition against alcohol. Generally we come for lunch, however Friday January 1, we came for an early dinner, as we had a couple with us, one of whom does not drink. The three of us finished off a Pinot Grigio and I had one of there made in house beers. There was another party of 6 in the front of the restaurant and they were amazingly loud. The acoustics are a bit hard, so it does not get toned down. The dinners were great, as usual. We had four appetizers, they were all good, but the crab rangoon was extraordinary. Sorry, no pictures, we were hungry. We have pictures of the dinners, as by the time we had the appetizers we were not quite as hungry. I had the lamb chops with a salad and a cup of the soup. This combination of two sides I recommend. The owners wife makes the soups, and I have never had one that was not amazingly good. On Friday I had a soup of black eyed peas and greens. Order the salad with the greek dressing. It is olive oil, vinegar and oregano. Great. The steaks, I sampled them, were great. I would recommend the rib eye, if they have it. Our designated driver had the pasta dish and it was outstanding as well.

Good beer, good food, good music and interesting characters! I have been to Blue Ridge Brewery four or five times and usually end up in the bar area at the back. Enjoyable! It’s become one of my favorites in the North Georgia Mountains. Last night I ordered the apple pecan spinach salad with salmon and it was amazingly good! Being gluten sensitive, I stayed away from the beer cheese dip the rest of the group enjoyed with pita(they were out of the usual pretzels accompanying the dip). I also settled for a sip from my sweetheart ‘s beer flight and really liked the Kolsch(sp?) My Plus 1 had the black bean burger and pronounced it flavorful and a «healthy size»; he wished the sweet potatoes side he ordered was bigger! Like most of the spots in town they close early(kitchen closes at 9!) and take no reservations, but it’s definitely worth the visit. Service was a little slow, but the place was, erm, hopping and it wasn’t aggravatingly slack!

Super chill bar. Outdoor seating is nice. Beer is cold and they have a great variety with good prices. Service is friendly. Food is fast and taste amazing. Not your typical bar food. We had the Beer & Cheese Dip, Hot & Spicy Crab Dip, and the Lamb Sliders. Man! That cheese dip is to die for! Definitely recommend and will always come back whenever in town.

This place is awesome. Live music, great beer, and amazing food. The house beer was kinda hit or miss. The guest taps were all awesome beers. We each had 3 pints and tried many differing offerings. We started with the fried artichokes. They are stellar! We instantly ate them all and ordered more. The dipping sauce is perfect. The burgers were spot on. Buns we great, cooked perfectly medium rare, and accompaniments were clearly well thought out. Best burger I’ve had in a while. Pricing on food and drinks was quite reasonable. Only complaint would be that the A/C was blasting and we nearly froze.

I love this place. The house burger was amazing! I could actually order it the way I like — medium rare and it came out exactly that way. Perfect. The beer that they brew wasn’t to my liking, and I love beer. Luckily they have full bar and a good selection of craft beer. Warning! The outside of the place is pretty nondescript, actually a pretty big turn off. But the inside is wonderful and they have a small patio outside. If you’re in blue ridge, stop in an see Christen at the bar. Checked in again on 3÷5÷2016 — I’m updating to 5 stars from 4. The burgers are the best I’ve had and will be used to gauge other places.

We liked EVERYTHING about this place! 1. The beer — we sampled only their own craft brews and every one was excellent. The Belgian tripel was outstanding, the porter our next favorite. We did a flight(of which you have to choose four, but they kindly added the IPA on the side for us) and we enjoyed them all. After walking around Blue Ridge, we came back later for a glass of the tripel. 2. The hamburger — some locals highly recommended getting a burger here, and you should always listen to the locals! We decided to split the slaw burger, and they plated it for us in the kitchen. Yum, yum… 3. The staff — several served or spoke to us in the two times we visited in the same day. All were friendly, efficient, and accommodating. 4. The patio — we had our dog with us and on a mild spring day it was just lovely to sit outside with our pooch.
