This was a wonderful restaurant. We had the duck and the trout with mussels to start. Everything was delicious! Our waiter was very knowledgable about the food and how everything is cooked. The atmosphere is everything I would want and love from a small town restaurant.

Delicious! I only had a salad but it was perfectly dressed with perfect mix of greens and it was huge. Normally I don’t judge on size but I’m on a «lifestyle change» so I didn’t order a protein and needed to eat ALL of the greens. I sat on the patio with my back to their smoker thing so I was just perfectly warm. My server was very sweet and attentive.

Awesome atmosphere, service and food. I ordered a burger with pulled pork and a fried egg — it was delicious. My wife ordered the cod(it was incredibly fresh) and her side salad was green and huge.

Went with a couple of friends to Blue Ridge to go to the Art Festival there. Beautiful day out and the little downtown area is so cute. Nice small town feel. We were hangry and got some recommendations from some locals and did our Unilocal research. This place sounded so yummy! Surprisingly, even though the town was super crowded than I’m sure it normally is, and the restaurant was busy, we only had about a 10 minute wait. The interior is super cool, old lodge cabin like. The tables and chairs are rustic wood. The place totally fits in this town. We had already looked over the menu before while deciding where to go, but we all still had to look again. I had noticed an app that had brie and crab in it, a dip. SOLD! I ordered that and out it came. The brie was very mild and it had a nice amount of crab in it. Cilantro also. It was quite tasty. My only complaint is that it was served with tortilla chips/corn chips. So did not go well with it. It needed either some crackers, or even better, bread chunks. I actually used the bread from my lunch to finish eating it and it definitely was much better. The chips just did nothing to add to the dish, actually, took away from the mild flavor. I love hot dogs. There, I said it. I do love hot dogs and they had a hot dog on the menu. House-made sausage with sauerkraut and a grain mustard. So yep, that’s what I ordered. It was seriously the biggest Weiner I’ve ever seen.(wink wink). I mean, really, it was massive. It had a grilled bun and the sauerkraut was a great addition. I ordered some of the house pickles to add to it and I think it made it even better. Came with cole slaw and some bbq beans. The beans were really good. Smoky and a little sweet, but not too much sweet. Like I said earlier, I used some of the bread of my bun to eat with my crab and brie dip. But I even gave up on the bread when eating my hot dog. This is a really solid, big, thick dog. The flavor was really good. You could tell it was fresh made, didn’t have any of that chemically taste. I would order this again. Our server was a really sweet girl who was very patient with the three of us high-maintenance foodies. She had great suggestions and always made sure our drinks were full and even brought us cups of ice to keep it nice and cold. I did get a taste of my two friends’ dishes. One had the Hot Brown and it was yummy. I might go for that if I make it out there again. It came with a Dilly Salad. I’m still not quite sure about what exactly dillies are. Some sort of dill green bean. This was a bit spicy too. Different sort of flavor. Not bad. The other friend had the pulled pork sandwich. It was pretty tasty as well. So we had to order desert. The pulled pork sandwich friend ordered the peach cobbler, but she didn’t want to share. LOL. My other friend and I decided to order the bread pudding and share that. We both love bread pudding. It was a decent bread pudding, not the best I’ve had, and they had it formed like a loaf. It was really solid and not fluffy like most bread puddings. We did get a little taste of the peach cobbler and MAN, that was some good stuff. I’d go back just for that. Overall it was a really nice experience. We took our time and never felt rushed by the staff to leave. Everyone was very friendly and made you feel at home. Definitely give this place a try.

We stopped by the restaurant for a quick lunch. Everything tasted fresh, and the servings were plentiful. Staff was attentive. Great casual sit down restaurant.

This place was a great unexpected surprise! Everything that we tried was really really good! Also, must say they had the best in-house made key lime pie that I have ever tried! Will definitely come back here when we are in the area next time!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while, or ever, honestly. The portions aren’t enormous, but you’ll leave with a pleased palate, no doubt. We were able to get a table for two immediately, with no reservations in mid April. We’ve been to Blue Ridge once before and tried The Black Sheep, which was also very impressive. Black Sheep is more upscale, while Harvest is more cabin-casual, and also smack dab in the middle of the downtown Blue Ridge drag; Black Sheep is just a block or two away. Service was fantastic. After we were seated, Kyle showed up to greet us and tell us about the specials and such. This dude knew his stuff, and I was impressed. We asked about a couple of the dishes, and he’s got all the info and is willing to share his opinions. My better half had the Springer Farms half chicken and I had the trout. I had to ask for two bites of his chicken, yup, two. My trout was just as satisfying. We were told the trout is always quite local and fresh. Harvest scores big on presentation, like really big. The dishes looked just as excellent as they tasted. The sweet potato that came with my trout was sweet and über rich in flavor. The arugula which was the footings for my meal created the perfect trifecta of flavors. The trout, potato, and arugula, yes, yes, yes. Hubby’s chicken was also in good company with string green beans and garlic mashed, heck yes. We passed on dessert, but I wanted to eat all five of the selections he told us about. The two Fu Man Brews I had with my meal were plenty of dessert, right? No! You crazy? I ended up finding some hella good fudge at Three Sisters down the street. Great job, Harvest on Main. Your spell worked.

5 Stars all the way! Location, Food, Serve and Ambiance. If you find yourself in downtown Blue Ridge you need to check out Harvest On Main! We chose to celebrate my birthday dinner there with the family & it did not disappoint. Every dish was delicious, fresh, tasty! We loved it so much we came back for lunch the next day! 5 stars! 2 thumbs up! Great job Danny! (we’re from Miami, FL)

We ate here this past Thursday as a kick off dinner for our vacation. It did not disappoint. On the waiter’s recommendation we tried the Morel Mushrooms. They were amazing! My wife had the trout and I had the half chicken. Both were cooked and tasted perfectly! I would definitely recommend this place. We will definitely be returning when we are back in town.

We were in town for a few days and decided to stop into Harvest on Main for dinner. The restaurant was relatively clean and the service was good. The food was overpriced and somewhat bland. I ordered the steak which was served as requested«medium» however the steak itself was cold. the quality was okay however given the prices they charge you should expect a much higher quality product. The female restaurant manager seemed to want to be anywhere but at the restaurant and we didn’t feel it was worth requesting a do over on our meals. All in all, I recommend skipping this venue for other more casual establishments with a friendlier attitude in Blue Ridge.

Had the juicy and meaty burger with egg topping. The harvest salad was tasty with variety. Waiter was extremely helpful. My friend ordered the all beef hotdog and it was huge! Probably the best hotdog I’ve ever tasted. The kraut was homemade! One of the best restaurants in town!

Staying in nearby Ellijay, we went to Harvest on Main last night on a whim, no reservation. We were seated at the chef’s table — basically a large counter, seated side by side. Our waiter, Jeremiah, was awesome. And the food was amazing. They had a crab stuffed morel mushroom appetizer on the daily specials menu, because someone hand picked them that morning. My entrée was the pecan crusted trout and my husband had the salmon. We both had the house salad. I’m not a big lettuce eater, but the greens in this salad with the creamy balsamic dressing were delicious. And we split the bread pudding for dessert. Simply divine! We will definitely go back!

If you like southern dishes with a gourmet flare, Harvest on Main is for you. Tonight I had NY Strip and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had the shrimp & Grits. She raved about how yummy this dish was. The portion was plentiful enough to feed at least 2. Definitely one of our favorite places to eat in downtown Blue Ridge. Plus, this is the best place to take out of town guests. The restaurant is very warm & cozy, the staff are amazing & friendly and the atmosphere is awesome!

We made reservations for 14 very loud girls and they put us in a room all to our selves. Our waitress was great and I did not feel like I had to wait long for my drinks or food. I treated myself to the special Filet Mignon and was not disappointed. I can’t wait to eat here again.

I absolutely loved the décor and overall feel of this restaurant! It is more what you expect out of Jackson Hole than Blueridge! Very solid but not over the top wine selection paired with equally so dishes. The shrimp and grits were very nicely done and did not disappoint on the portion size! I’m serious when I say you better be very hungry before you sit down! The only reason I can’t give the place a better rating is the service. It was not what I was expecting for such a nice restaurant. I know it’s always luck of the draw with servers but I was disappointed! Still, it’s a must stop if you are in the area!

My second year in a row dining at Harvest on Main. It a great place to go in Blue Ridge if you want a «nicer» meal. We had great service and a nice relaxing lunch. Oh and cocktails! The blue crab dip is yummy. I could have eaten it all by myself. The smoked trout and salmon salad was also really good. I wasn’t so impressed with the Hot Brown, but it wasn’t terrible. Overall, HoM is a nice place to escape to if you’ve been trapped in a cabin with your kindergartner for days upon days. Don’t forget to make a reservation early during peak weeks!

We were here on memorial day long weekend and pretty much all the restaurants around were crowded and had an hour long wait but we managed to get a table in the patio. I tried a wide selection of food from our groups big order. The food was fresh and has a good blend of ingredients but was missing the flavour you would expect for the price you pay for.

Beautiful restaurant in Blue Ridge. If you didn’t know better you’d swear you were in Colorado! Well-prepared dishes and great bar. On our last visit, I ordered the diver scallops and my husband got the Pasta Bolognese. The scallops were perfectly seared and delicious. The Bolognese was superb. .. Prepared with a good red wine and perfectly seasoned. Many of the veggies and herbs are grown on the restaurant’s own farm. One tip: ask to be seated away from the front door; flies can be pesky near the door during the warm summer months.

Came here for our 2nd wedding anniversary while on vacation. Wow what an awesome resturant. The service and food is exceptional! I love the ambiance. I am from New York and this place reminds me of a cabin in the adirondacks. The décor is amazing. Everything from the chairs to animals on the walls and table settings. For a starter we got the Flatbread which rocked. Then I got a salad its huge. My wife got the meatloaf and I got the homemade bolognese. The food had wonderful flavor and huge portions. I highly recommend coming here for dinner. The food is pricey for well worth the price. Don’t let the prices fool you. Then we got dessert. Yea that was just as good! Will definitely come back!
