Service was excellent! Food was decent, will try this place again for breakfast next time.

Great food and service. Waitresses were very friendly, service was fast and I had the chicken salad sandwich that I had was great.

This is an old stand-​by. We’ve been coming here for years, usually for breakfast or lunch. Food is good and consistent. Owners Warren and Ben, are very nice. Our grand– daughter loves cheese ravioli and they are always nice enough to prepare this dinner item at lunch for her. Love the mushroom Brie soup and the pecan pie.

Ate lunch here, I had the chicken philly cheese sandwich and my husband had the country fried steak. I highly recommend this place not only was the food great the waiter and waitress were extremely friendly and attentive.

Really strange place. Nice breakfast. Hot, tasty but the waitress was serving and talking on a cellphone??? Uh huh should NEVER be an answer to anything.

Good food and nice atmosphere. We had a very nice waitress. The Ruben and mushroom soup were very good but a little pricey for the serving size.

Great little restaurant in the heart of Blue Ridge. We ordered the beer battered onion rings and an appetizer. My wife had the ½ chicken salad melt and portobello mushroom soup. I had the party melt. Both were very tasty. The speed of the service deserve high marks. Our food came quickly and with a smile. The staff did a very good job.

My family & I recently went here because we heard its pet friendly and decided to try it out. They have a cute little patio when you are with your pet. The weather outside was cold but their hot food warmed us up quick. I had a grilled cheese (honestly the second best I’ve ever had in my life, the first being from when I was in grade school). My mom had the shrimp, you can tell it was cooked fresh with a golden color to it. My brother a cheeseburger (he swallowed it, I don’t think he chewed) and my husband the fish and chips, his fish was delicious and meaty. If I was to return to Blue Ridge I would definitely go back. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting, the establishment was very clean and food was brought out promptly. So if you’re visiting or a local and want a hearty scrumptious meal definitely give this place a try.

I was hesitant to try this place on a Sat night but everything else on this holiday weekend was packed. We had a drive in movie to catch and didn’t want to wait too long. We sat down right away and the waitress was very fast to bring menus and drinks. I asked if it may be a problem to be served and eat in 45 minutes since we had plans later and she assured me no problem. Im happy to say we were served very fast. My strawberry salad was great. Very fresh and tangy. My daughter had mushroom soup but felt it had a weird taste and she has a sophisticated palette. It waas all good cause she finished my salad. She had spaghetti and meat sauce and ate every bite. That was a winner and she usually never orders off the kids menu. I ate the lemon trout and green beans with fried okra. I enjoyed it all. The green beans were fresh and good mushrooms in them. My okra was nice and crunchy. My trout had a nice flavor and I love extra lemon juice on my trout so she brought me a whole bowl. Service was very fast and friendly. Yes, they do the cards here thankfully.
My only complaint is get better bread rolls. Something soft and flavorful.
Oh also have someone to come in and fix the very noisy fountain that sits in the middle of the front dining area. I eventually tuned it out but it was distracting.
I would love to come back and try the breakfasts here one day.

We made it to the drive in in plenty of time!

Here for brunch. Soup is cold. Would have enjoyed a piping hot bowl of the house made tomato bisque. Next up: the chicken salad salad.
Sent the soup back. They nuked it, still not hot. Oh, well,
For brunch, you can choose from some pretty normal options; eggs, pancakes, meat, biscuits. The have some good looking burgers and sammies, salads.
Here come the egg dishes. Ok, eggs look plentiful. Everything you’d expect. Pancakes are humongous. My salad looks good.

I stopped here for a late lunch and left wishing I had chosen a different establishment. The food was OK and the service was metiocre. My waitress was unkind and really didn’t want to be at work. She was rude on more than one occasion, and was snarky when i asked for something as simple as a straw. I didn’t get a single refill, and she was irritated by everything I asked. Not to mention the food was costly. Take your money elsewhere the food is low quality, and the service is worse.

Good food. Aimed at older people, I think (read: liver and onions, meatloaf, etc). Nothing spectacular but my ruben was good, fries and onion rings were quite good and service was GREAT.

I’ve had some really bad experiences at restaurants, but nothing like this place. The server ignored us the entire time. Didn’t even say anything when she came up to the table. It wasn’t even busy. I would not recommend this place to anyone if you want to be treated like a person.

Not the best service but had great food! I’d rate it 4 stars. Small wait and seemed to be under staffed. Overall it was OK.

Ate there October 11, 2014. Wife and I were still paying for it two days later. Bad service, rude hostess and food poisoning.

Serenity Garden Café has a 2^nd location in downtown McCaysville, GA, on Blue Ridge Drive. We did NOT try the Blue Ridge, GA, location. At the downtown McCaysville location, you can either sit inside or on the outside patio by the river. The food was very good and well priced. The deserts were AWESOME! The setting was good and so was the service. The wait staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good place for lunch or dinner. Right now the McCaysville location does not serve either wine or beer but we were told they were working on being able to do so.

The setting was pleasant and the service was good. I was here with my husband last year and the breakfast was fantastic. This year we came back with a larger group for lunch. I have to say I was really disappointed this time around with my country fried steak sandwich. It was mediocre at best. Others in our dining party loved the chicken salad sandwich, BLT and the macaroni salad. The chicken tenders were also good, but the size was too small. Our server and chef was very accommodating with a simple breakfast request (bacon and eggs with an English muffin) even though we had just missed the breakfast serving time.

Cute place with a good menu of seafood and standard American fare. Service was very friendly, but also very slow. Our entrees took much longer than they should have, but they gave us a free dessert for our patience. Would have given 3.5 stars, but I’m rounding up because it’s in the mountains, and it’s very different here. Also I really liked the lasagne.
Edited to add: my dad was very happy that he was able to negotiate a good deal on some artwork that was for sale in the café. And he sure loved the lemon pepper trout.

The food is decent but the service is a bit strange. It wasn’t unfriendly, but rough in demeanor and appearance. Not unkind, but lacking in the usual social graces — and this from a guy who’s not known for his sophistication either.
