This is the filthiest Starbucks I’ve ever been in. Trash bag that needed to be taken out just sitting by the counter. Floors need attention. Staff seems like they’re high school students at recess. The smell was almost coffee-like with an under hint of stink I couldn’t identify. Come on… probably going to get hep-c from here.

This place is always so crowded. I would not recommend. Support the local cafes instead. #fightthepoweramiright?

Came into this Starbucks location around 11:30AM ordered two grande white hot chocolates and they weren’t even hot. I came up to the call out station and after she finished helping another customer I asked the worker(brunette wore a blue bandanna around her hair) if she could make the drinks hotter since I wanted them hot. She stared at me and replied with such attitude a blunt«What?» Not even a smile or an apology that my drinks weren’t served hot? I work in a coffee/tea store and I know how frustrating busy days are but that is still no excuse to talk to a customer that way. I was so upset I wanted to talk to a manager on shift but I considered it would be just a waste of my time since I was only in the area to snow board with friends and I didn’t want a compensation or anything. I just want management to know the types of worker attitude they have at this store and hope they fix it.

I’m usually really iffy about Starbucks because the drinks always taste watered down but this hot chocolate is. It’s also like 18 degrees right now and this location has the heater on which is a plus.

Worst customer service ever! How are you going to allow people to wait in line and then wait till they get to the front and tell him them you don’t make travelers? Put a god dam sign out front! Go to Vons across the parking lot, quick fast service there.

I love Starbucks, I visit Starbucks once a day typically. This is by far the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. 5 employees and taking one order in 15 minutes is ridiculous.

5:40pm on the day befor Christmas, this store had a sign said ‘drive through open store closed”. I walked here to buy a cup of coffee, I walked with the cars in the drive through lane, the cars behind me was realy nice and they kept distance. My husband drop me off here and he had to go back to the cabin to pick up the iPad that we left. We had a long way to drive home and I wanted to buy him a cup of coffee. I waited in 37 °F cold night for 10 minutes, finally I got to the the window, they said they can’t sell the coffee to me. I said for the sake that I’ve been standing in the cold night, please just sell me a cup of coffee, the the said she just can’t because I was not supposed to be there because the cars were going to hit me. I said the drivers were really nice and here I am please make an exception and I really need it. She said no!

This seems to be a frequent hangout by all near the Village, but c’mon it’s a starbucks, what would you expect. It is very busy, especially if you go in the morning. Fortunately, we showed up at around 11A when it was busy, but not overwhelming. The place could use some upkeep. Not the cleanest, but I’d imagine with all the foot traffic, it would be hard to keep an eye on all your patrons 24⁄7. I put in a fairly large order and they had it ready within a few minutes. They were efficient and I didn’t have to repeat myself especially with all the specific hoo-haas and expert-only starbucks coffee house jargon.

Pretty standard Starbucks, I think it’s a little slow but most are, think they need more than one barista like most Starbucks at the cashier during rush time. inside could be cleaner and outside cobblestone can definitely use a steam cleaning!

DONT use the mobile order app here if your in a hurry! It’s a super busy location, so there is a high change your order will get lost. I used it and ended up waiting for 20 minutes until any resolution was given for the delay. Even after I expressed that our drinks were not made yet, I was ignored and I had to haggle another barista to even get our drinks. Finally, 30 min later we walk out of Starbucks. Also there is no way on the app for it to notify you when food items are no longer available. At least they refunded me(after 20 min of waiting) for the bagels they didn’t have. Props to the second barista for finally making our drinks and trusting our order without a receipt though!

This is the first starbucks I have ever been that has no clue what an Upside down carmel machiato means. The staff scream out regulars names«YOURCOFFEEISREADYDAVE» but ignore tourists. When my coffee was ready it was just dumped on the counter and never called. OK it was off season and Big Bear is a resort, there is no reason to treat someone so rudely who is spending money. I understand the regulars spend more money than I do because I don’t live there but why would you want to punish me for not being a regular? Just does’nt make sense. This place is like a meeting place for locals and they hate visitors. 2 stars because my coffee was good when I finally got it, –3 for making me feel unwanted and like an alien whilst I drank my coffee. After all theres nothing worse than the staff and all the regulars staring at you and talking under their breath than to make starbucks a much more enjoyable experience. Bottom line, coffee is good, staff are not, if you are a local you will be welcome, if not forget it, they will talk under their breath about you That is not cool

There are few times in life when a drink was so expertly crafted and planned. Last night I had that drink– the café mocha. It was so rich and creamy that my taste buds literally melted in my mouth. And the baristas who took my order and made my drink were so kind to me that I felt like they were my friends. This starbucks is one of the best I’ve been to hands down. I WILL be coming back here again!

Always great coffee«but» since they closed the other Starbucks over at the west end of the village, this location is now taking the brunt of the coffee crowds. It’s so busy in here, the bathroom isn’t getting any attention and the employees are doing their utmost in get the orders out. Need to put more staffing here during the winter weekends! Lines 25+ people long!!!

standard starbucks. its sharing a building with US bank so read the door before entering. I like the leather seats though its somewhat cramped inside. Considering how many snow activity people were crammed into the place, it was uh… cozy? ok no that sounds gross with a store full of strangers. Should have a fireplace inside to top off the mountain/snow feel but noooo, the fireplace is outside with some group chairs cuz I’d totally be sitting outside with a fire while its freezing snowing. I’m not fully sure if it was the noise level so the cashier didnt hear me correctly or if the cashier’s handwriting caused the barista to mix up my drink but I ordered a 7 pump 5 shot iced WM no whip that came out supremely bloody bitter and I noticed that the 7 had a dash near the base which I felt looked like a 2. They remade it, it came out slightly overly sweet but thats fine(they might’ve thrown in an extra pump to be sure). But the lesson here is. ALWAYSTASTEYOURDRINKBEFOREYOULEAVE(this is for the drive thru-ers, not sure how you intend to taste, especially a hot drink, your beverage and not hold up the line)

I wanted some caffeine to get me through my drive down the mountain and I just so happen to have a birthday reward to use so it would be free. I was having trouble finding this location since it’s away from Vons and the other strip mall next to it. It shares the same building with US Bank. I drove by the entrance and it looked closed and then I saw the line of cars for the drive-thru. While in drive-thru, you get a view of the lit up slopes at Snow Summit. Since it was the end of the night, they ran out of soy. When I finally got to the window, I received friendly service. I asked the girl what the feed back was on the new drink that I ordered. She was honest enough to tell me she has not tried it since she’s not a fan of pralines but people do like it. .

This Starbucks is amazing. I always order a caramel macchiato, Iced, soy, one shot of decaf coffee. Almost all Starbucks get it wrong, but this time they got it right. The order came out quick and it was so good. They spelled my name correctly. My fathers name is Michel,(pronounced Michelle) a French name, and he had to spelled it out loud so she could hear, but she spelled it Mitchelle. This a small thing but some people might get annoyed by this. So just a heads up.
