572 was the perfect lunch spot. We were wandering around the village when 572 caught our eye with a welcoming patio and live music. We opted not to sit outside just because it was brutally hot, but the inside was just as nice with a modern, eclectic feel. The menu was simple and approachable. Both my friend and I opted for the grilled chicken wrap which was heavenly! Service was attentive and the entire restaurant was clean and well managed. At one point someone came over to ask if we were enjoying our meal– I believe it was the manager. I appreciate that level of interaction. I would come here again to try out their dinner vibe.

We are regular weekenders to Big Bear and this our favorite restaurant in town. The food is great in a relaxed atmosphere. I love sitting out on the patio in the summer. I like the outdoor atmosphere better than inside. The chicken wings are hands down the best I have ever had anywhere. I also love the salads with the ahi tuna and the poke tacos, the tuna burger, the chicken burger and the short ribs are all fantastic. Absolutely love coming here!

We just had a wonderful dinner here out on the patio! We were a little hesitant after reading some reviews about slow service. But we’re sure glad we went anyway. The service was excellent from beginning to end, even though the patio was packed. The hostess was prompt and welcoming. Our server, Kari, was excellent. She was very attentive, took our orders when we were ready, refilled our water often(it’s hot today!), brought our food promptly, kept checking back, and took care of the check quickly. She even brought us extra plates without us asking when she realized we were sharing both items we ordered. Great in every aspect! The food was delicious. We had a chopped salad with a delicious raspberry yogurt vinaigrette dressing. And the grilled vegetable sandwich was excellent. And the beautiful patio just makes the entire experience perfect! We will be back on our next trip to Big Bear!

It might have been an off night for the staff but the service was slow. We waited longer for our food than waiting for a table. We even told the manager we had been waiting for our food for a half hour. It was then we started to see our waitress come around our table more often. Atmosphere was great.

We will give this place another try as the manager stepped in when he saw that my husband didn’t eat his meal and asked if everything was alright. The salmon was cooked perfectly but we wondered if the meal sat under a heat lamp because the risotto was dry and pasty and had too many sun-dried tomatoes. He took it off our bill and said he wanted us to come back and give it another try. The braised short rib was tender and flavorful. I had the cabernet sauce on the side because I have allergies to some wines, but thankfully the ribs weren’t cooked in it and tasted delicious. Because of the accommodations of the manager, we will definitely give this a solid 4 stars. The patio is beautiful and there was live music provided. There is plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant.

Went to this place on Saturday or rather tried to go. Got to the host station and was greeted by the host. I made a joke to her that obviously was wasted on the simple. She completely ignored my boyfriend and I. We stood there not understanding why we weren’t taken to a table. After a few minutes she whispered to her coworker«if you want to help them, it’s on you.» The other hostess preceded to ignore us as well. We tried to get a waitresses attention to no avail. There we were two hungry people waiting to be acknowledged and instead had two hostesses ignore us and not want our money. Great business tactics and super friendly staff, and yes, that is sarcasm.

Sat at the bar on a Tuesday afternoon/evening to watch the Western Conference. Had a great time although they were playing music pop/hip hop instead of the sound from the game. Service was great even though the bartender was busy. Had the calamari strips(not that good), Mac and cheese app(taste like Velveeta cheese, not that good), mussels in a cream sauce(BEST mussels I have ever had, the cream sauce is so delicious however they sprinkle red pepper flakes all over which can make it quite spicy so tell them to leave off if you don’t like spicy), boyfriend ordered seared tuna sandwich with fries(tuna was good and I definitely recommend if you like raw food, fries not so much). Bought a bottle of descent Pino noir for $ 30 and she let us take it home since we didn’t finish it. I would definitely come back for the mussels alone and to explore some other items on the menu. They have a great bar and seating area outside as well which also has tvs and music.

Had a really nice burger here for dinner after a day of climbing on the north side of the lake. Instead of driving down the hill, the gang decided to head over to town for a bite. The turned to the resident Unilocal-maser(that’s me) for a recommendation, and I found this place. The friends had actually been to the spot when it was a previous restaurant, and this was a huge improvement. There is an outdoor seating area with a fire pit. Indoors, there are plenty of booths and tables for larger groups. With 2 adults and a kid, everyone found something to eat. My fiends spit a burger and a salad, their kid had the mac & cheese and I had a burger. entrees are in the $ 20+ range, but a good burger and fries was under $ 15. They had wine and beer, I had a cocktail, so all our boozy inclinations were satisfied. If I am looking for a spot for lunch or dinner in town in the future, this will stay on the radar.

A great lunch spot located at the heart of Big Bear Village. The Wings and 572 Fire Burger are a must try. They have great selection of draft beer. Staff is friendly and attentive. It is also good spot for people watching. Highly recommend to sit outside at the patio. The general dining experience was above my expectation. It is a pet friendly restaurant. They offer 3 tables outside which allow you to dine with your pets while enjoying great food and beer.

In an area where the food is mostly bar food this place brings healthy and delicious to a new level. We visited here 3 times durning our 3 day visit. We enjoyed the veggie burger with portobello mushrooms and Caramelized onions(bun free). We had the muscles minus the cream. The muscles were delicious They just needed a little less salt. Then we also had the roast goat cheese and beet salad and the chopped salad with the addition of the ahi. Both are a great choice. We will definitely come back and try more options on our next visit. A major plus is they have and outside patio

Came here on a random Tuesday night and had a great time! Sat immediately and were greeted warmly and offered drinks right away. They have great salad choices but they need to add better dressing selections. My salad was weird and had beets and tomatoes and candied walnuts and the dressing was asian inspired. Not a good combo but I overlooked it because the cocktails were on point! I had a special pear winter cocktail that was lovely. Get the Mac n cheese omg it’s amazing! Also, get the garlic bread– it’s so delicious. I’ll be coming back for sure. Love the décor, love the vibe. Nice little modern spot.

Suzie Q’s Fun Facts: In addition to being the street address of this restaurant(572 Pine Knot Ave.), «572» is also a teamster’s union in Carson, CA, and was a leap year in the Gregorian calendar. =≅≅≅≅≅≅≅≅≅≅≅≅≅~ 572 Social Kitchen has a lot going for it: Namely, that it could take our party of six immediately on a Saturday at lunchtime in February. Everything else was a bonus. My friends and I first tried to get a table at the popular Big Bear Lake Brewing Company down the street. But with a 45 minute wait and our stomachs growling, suddenly we stopped being so picky. In an increasingly hangry search for alternatives, we stumbled upon 572 Social Kitchen. While they couldn’t seat us at the inviting-looking outdoor area, we were escorted immediately to a perfectly serviceable table inside the dining room. We perused the lunch menu. Personally, I didn’t find it to be that interesting, varied, or well-priced. But this is a tourist town, and we were hungry, so all was pretty much forgiven. I and several others ordered one of the healthiest dishes on the menu: The«Seared Tuna Tatami Salad» for $ 13.99. However, rather than being a complete assembled dish, the plate instead was presented in an unintentionally hilarious«deconstructed» style — e.g. the fish came in one pile, the lettuce came in another pile, then there was a tiny pile of wasabi sauce. Etc. While it looked pretty, when assembled as a whole, there was a curiously small amount of food on the plate. Another friend ordered a salad with tuna added, but when it arrived, it was topped with grilled chicken breast instead.(The restaurant charged $ 7 to add fish or chicken to any«base» salad, which made this friend’s originally $ 11 salad significantly pricier than my Tatami salad that came«standard» with tuna). What a racket! Ultimately, we were fairly happy with the service, and at least moderately happy with the food. Though I would have been pleased to find healthy alternatives on the menu beyond just a few salads… such as healthy«bowls,» or steamed fish and veggies, etc. And truth be told, most of us were hungry again not long after leaving the restaurant. But on the upside, we were fed… which is more than I can say for the sad sacks still waiting for a table at the nearby brewery.

Coming here was extremely disappointing… We came on Valentine’s Day during the day to get some lunch. We ordered bloody Mary’s, which were made terribly. Looked extremely watered down. I think the bartender just didn’t quite know how to make them. Still that was no biggie and we didn’t complain. We aren’t much for complaining about our food! Until we got our burgers. We ordered a burger and some wings. The wings, were amazing!!! I’ll give credit when it’s due! But the burger came out rare… And by rare, I mean raw. I took a bite and literally thought I was going to get sick if I ate anymore. It looked like it came right out of the package. So we told our server, who was awesome and took our burger back… 7 – 10 mins pass, burger comes back out. Took a bite into it, STILLRAW. And the lettuce and tomato were left on there while it was heated up or whatever they did to it. Total fail. We asked to speak with a manager. Clearly that was the kitchens fault and no one else, but the manager took the burger off our bill, as well as giving us 15% off, and even offered us another drink at the bar. Which we politely declined. So the only reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because the manager totally took care of us, and tried to fix everything the best he could. The customer service on that end was good.

We didn’t even make it past the hostess. She stood right in front of me several times yet looked the other way and never acknowledged me. She then stood right in front of me and looked past me and said who’s next. I told her party of 5 and she said 1 hour — an hour and a half. She said it’s the food that’s taking so long. Horrible hostess. Short dark hair.

Considering the fact that you don’t have many food options at the top of a mountain, this place is pretty decent. I had the chili cheese fries and pulled pork sandwich and both were good. The bar is small and the wait is long for a mixed drink but the bar tender pours them on the strong side so I can’t complain.

This place looked cool from the outside and I thought I would give its a try. The hostess frowned when I asked for a table for 3 and she said it would be 45 min to 1 hr. wait. I passed and tried a few other places that also had a long wait and deiced to come back to find their was no wait at all. hmm… Happy that I was seated I asked the same hostess for some crayons for my son, she said they don’t have them. I then asked for a pen and she said she didn’t have one for me to use as she looked away. What a snot. Food was just ok but our waitress was AWESOME If it wasn’t for the snotty pants hostess I would offer additional stars. I’ll go back but if that same hostess is there I would turn around.

We’ve had a vacation home in Big Bear for 12 years. The old place that was in this location served bland burgers and … I don’t remember anything else. 572 Social changes the face of The Village. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. Kids and beat-up snowboarders are more than welcomed. Great variety on the menu, with dishes that are very unique and flavorful. Get this! They plate the food. It looks pretty! So if you need a change from the grilled burgers at Big Bear Mountain, this place is great. Comin’ back.

There’s something special about having a great burger after being in the snow and skiing for hours. The burgers here were very good and the wait wasn’t too bad either. Pricing here was pretty reasonable. My only request would be to put more fries on the plates. It looks like there’s so little in them.

Came in on a Saturday when they were somewhat packed. My S/O and I decided to come here for a drink and some appetizers while we wait for our reservations at another restaurant. The bar is always open seating so from time we walked in to get a table it wasn’t that long. We were greeted by our waitress who seemed distracted… It took her awhile to get us our drinks(I just got water and lemon, my s/o got draft beer). Since we just wanted to waste some time I ordered a basket of fries and soup of the day. Fries was excellent. Seasoned to perfection and the soup was disappointing. 1. Because our server told us that the soup of the day was clam chowder … 2. When our soup did arrive it wasn’t clam chowder. It was«spicy tomato soup». Unfortunately we had to send it back because it wasn’t what we ordered. Overall it’s a cute little spot to hang out. I would definitely come here to check out the rest of the menu.

We came a year ago and hated it: erverything was off. The salmon overdone, the short rib mediocre BUT we came back and gave it another shot this year and it was EXCELLENT! — the Cali burger excellent, the tuna tartare and bruschetta appetizers are delish, the kids meals r excellent. I had the mussels last night and loved it. I think they’ve upped their game here and have managed to hone in on the dishes on the menu. The place has a great vibe — fun relaxed, good food without being pretentious. Also service is good. I’d say stick to the simpler dishes and the appetizers — they’re well worth it. You will waste your money if u order the more ‘high end’ entrees.(Risotto w salmon was pretty bad tonight). That said, this has become our go-to spot for a nice dinner in big bear

At first I was really sad to see that Boo Bears was taken over by a different restaurant, but after eating there and seeing the newly renovated outdoor patio, my mind quickly changed. My friends and I were(again) attempting to eat at Teddy Bears for breakfast, but the line was out of control, we knew that the Social Kitchen opened at 11:00AM and it is right across the street. We had the dogs so we were seated in the side patio area, but we did get to pass through the big patio area which looked really nice. They have incorporated a huge outdoor bar, fire pits and lounge chairs. My boyfriend and I are really looking forward to stopping by for a drink when we are in town next month. We were given the end table which was nice for the dogs, but one of the seats was directly under the speaker, so my friend that was sitting in that particular seat thought it was just a bit too loud. Otherwise, the dining experience was pleasant and service was prompt. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich with a side of house salad. The salad was mediocre, though I did really like the flavor of the croutons. My sandwich was delicious though! The chicken was really juicy, flavorful and the Cajun seasoning was just right. I would definitely order it again. Sadly, my boyfriend was not as impressed with his chicken wrap. It had tomatoes, chicken, bacon, lettuce and some sort of sauce on it, but he said it was extremely bland. It ended up working out well because his stomach was upset so bland was a good thing, however, generally he’d want more flavor. He ended up asking for a side of ranch to dip it in and he said that helped a little. Like I said, we plan to come back to enjoy their awesome patio seating, but he will be ordering something different and I hope I can bump them up another star at that time!

For a second day in a row, Teddy Bear’s had too long of a wait so we ended up across the street again, this time at 572. Since we had our dogs with us, we were sat along the front patio instead of the spacious side patio. Although the larger patio is beautifully decorated and even had live music, I’d happily give it up to be able to dine with my fur baby. The dog friendly patio had about five tables and a fence to separate us from the sidewalk. The dogs seemed to enjoy barking at the other dogs as they walked by from the safety of the fence. 572 doesn’t have a breakfast menu so we settled for an early lunch shortly after they opened at 11AM. I ordered the Americano, which is a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, avocado and onions(which I omitted) and a side of fries. The sandwich is served dry but I asked for a side of ranch to dump on and use as dipping for the fries. I’m quite particular about my ranch but this was delicious and enhanced both the fries and the sandwich. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was an extra large piece that even stuck out of the sandwich, which is awesome because one of my pet peeves is a chicken breast that only covers half the bun. My only slight issue is that the sandwich is difficult to eat because the ingredients kept falling out of the bun. My boyfriend ordered the Veggie Sandwich, which is suspiciously not listed on their online menu. As a vegetarian, he was pleased to have an option at the restaurant but wasn’t super impressed with the sandwich, which had squash and asparagus on it. Since he loves spicy things, he decided to order a side of the 572 spicy sauce that comes on the Fire Burger. Unfortunately, he said it was not spicy at all. My friend ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and enjoyed it but her boyfriend didn’t care for his California Chicken Wrap, which he said was bland.

3.5 stars This place was cute. It has a nice patio seating arrangement, live music, and pretty vibrant lunch crowd the Saturday that I stopped by. I sat at the outside bar. Service was a tad slow, which is fine because it was unusually packed at 3PM for lunch. I ordered their egg burger which is comprised of a thick burger patty, lettuce, a tomato slice, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese served between a toasted brioche bun… topped with a fried egg. The egg of course, was the most enticing part, but eggs can’t really add flavor to a burger patty. Aside from the flavors of the bacon, my burger was pretty bland. It was just a plain olé hamburger with an egg on top with not much else. My friend, on the other hand, got the 572 Fire Burger which was packed with heat and flavor. I would definitely stop by for a drink again because the ambiance of the place was great. And maybe order another burger off their menu.
