Come for the Wings Stay for the Beer. I have been to Sandy’s a lot in the past few years. I am a big fan of the appetizers and love the very cold beer that they serve. The service is fine and its a great place to play pool with friends of just hang out to watch a game.

Just had dinner with my husband and kids. The friendly bartender greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in. The kids loved all the video games and hubby loved all the TVs with games on. We ordered the Mac and cheese bites off the happy hour menu and they were pretty tasty, tasted like Cheese-on-a-stick. Kids devoured their nuggets and grilled cheese. Hubby was totally impressed with club sandwich and Cole slaw and could only finish half. His beer was super icy cold, too. I had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich which was loaded with white meat chicken. We would return!

Went there two days in a row while staying in Big Bear. First night just had drinks. Asked bartender to suggest something hot. He got me a hot chocolate and vodka. It was delish and warmed me right up. Next night had drinks and food. Pastrami sandwich was yummy and I kept stealing bites of my hubby’s ajus that came with his French did. It was Monday night football and got packed, but we continued to get good service. We got there early which helped a lot!

Delish food. Great service! The wings are the best! Mozzarella sticks and calamari are good. Great happy hour specials. Nice little walk from the Vintage lodge we were staying.

Food was okay. The worst part was the service we received from our waitress. She was rude and condescending. One of our food items was not made properly. She shrugged and said she must have not heard us, and did not bother to replace it. She avoided our table. Then tired to add on her own tip without our permission. When we asked her to removed the tip because of her poor service. She said well I served you right. Then she told us we tired to scam her for free hot chocolate! Probably one of the worst customer service we have ever received.

Ate at Sandy’s on a Super Bowl Sunday. I have to say, if you are a football fan, this is the place to go. I like that this sports bar also had a separate area for the kiddos to play. Beware though, some of the games do not work but if you let the staff know they will give you your money back. The food was delicious. I ordered a Greek Salad and it was very tasty. The salad was good except there were no pepperocinis and the dressing is a little too cheesy for my taste. Pita bread would have been nice too. My husband had the Golden Boy burger which I found out later was named after Oscar De La Hoya who frequented Sandy when he owned property there once upon a time. He thought it was tasty but nothing really but a basic burger My daughter had the ½ sandwich and ½ salad which was huge and delicious! The other kids had the kids cheeseburger and chicken nuggets which they were pleased with. Other than the service being really slow…20 minutes to get drinks when they were ordered upon arrival and 30 minute wait to get our check, this place is a cool place to hang out and watch Sunday games.

This place has horrible service. Walked in with a group of 8 and waited at the bar for 20 minutes. Not one employee greeted us or asked us what we wanted to drink. When I asked a bartender about seating arraignments she gave me the cold shoulder and told me that my bartender would be right with me. 20 minutes later after still not being helped our group left. One of the employees tried to stop us in the parking lot and ask us to come back inside for a pitcher on them. We still left and found a better sports bar down the street.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Great atmosphere… like 20 TVs with ALL the games playing… dozens of taps of the best beer and the best food on the mountain! My son is picky but loves their hamburgers, wings and fries. I’m a huge fan of the ribs and chicken sandwich. When in Big Bear… treat yourself to Sandy’s…you’ll be back.

I normally don’t write too many bad reviews but this place had horrible service. The waiter was extremely rude and seemed like he hated his life and/or job. He literally threw the menus at us and was a smartass about it. I don’t recommend this place.

We have been here twice. The first time was a couple of years ago. This last time was on 5÷05÷2015. Good food, large portions and friendly staff. Bar, Food, Video games, Pool table and a wall of TV’s. What more could you want? We will be back.

Perfect place to watch the game! Tons of TV’s and lots of space. They’re totally cool about you being there to watch the game and don’t pester you to order a ton of drinks/food. They’re super accommodating and it’s not crazy loud like some sports bars. Also, the food is really good! The Cajun pasta was absolutely AMAZING. YUUMMM. It’s spicy and sooooo delicious. Seriously, it’s been days since we had it and we’re still talking about it! Also, they gave great wings and sweet potato fries! This place is prob more a 4/4.5 but that pasta bumps it up to a 5!

The staff here is always very friendly and nice. We’ll come here for football games as they have a lot of TV and it’s never packed. The food was decent, but just your normal sports bar food.

It’s so not LA. Now, that is not saying good or bad. What it is saying is that its country, not backwoods-like, but close. It doesn’t have cute servers. Well, at least not cute to me. An elderly gent was the main guy, and a frumpy and normal guy was the other server. The menu is filled with the normal bar food, specializing in burgers and fish & chips. I ordered the fish & chips, which the server said«good choice». Since water dripped from my piece, it must be from frozen — disappointment. The fries, seasoned but by frozen, and a terrible prepared cole slaw. What was I thinking? Then, I thought I’d try their homemade chili, and it was so salty that I could not eat it. I sent it back. It does have TV’s everywhere, and for that its good. Sound was turned off(pet peeve), and only chatter remained as it didn’t even have overhead music. In the winter time, it was a bit cold. Heater wasn’t on, making us fend on our own. Brrr Medium in size and separate small rooms, a side room has 4 pool tables, a shuffleboard, darts, and a handful of aged arcade games. Pretty cool. The savior of the night was the Fried Chicken Salad. It was HUGE. And, if nothing else, it’s kid friendly.
