The servers were so great. It wasn’t very packed in here but they checked on my and were nice the whole time. Since it wasn’t crowded, my food came pretty quickly. I had a crabcake sandwich and the crabby sweets(sweet potato crabfries). These are great bc you can pretend to be healthy but still get the goodness. It comes with a sweet sauce, kind of like syrup and a cheese sauce. Both are really good. This is the second location I’ve been to, after Atlantic city and this is located in the Parx Casino. For 5:45 on a Friday, it’s not a bad spot. Didn’t come to gamble but if I was feeling lucky, Chickie’s and a penny machine couldn’t hurt.

Great sports bar food! The Crab Fries are delicious and the Bacon Blue Burger. If you’re into crab meat, try the Ultimate comes with lump crab meat on the burger. Little neck clams are very small, as I observed because I don’t eat them. The mozzarella sticks had more breading than cheese, but tasty. The Lobster Roll was very tasty and had lots of Lobster. Great break after hittng the slots.

Wife and i went last night and we were not disappointed. Greeted by friendly young women with smiles on their faces. Seated at a hugh booth with plenty of tvs surrounding us with all sports on them all. Our waitress, Katrina, was the nicest young lady. Started us with our drinks then after seeing we had a hard time deciding on apps Katrina said her favorite was the crab bruschetta. Well, it was absolutely fantastic. Service and food just kept getting better. As we were leaving Katrina suggested a certain slot machine that she liked. We played it and won 140 bucks. Win Win night all around.

Let me start by saying that I started off by being a Chickie & Pete’s hater… not because they particularly did something to me, but because my husband is such a HUGE Chickie & Pete’s lover… it was annoying to go there so much. lol Now living about 3 minutes from this location, I have grown much fonder of the brand and their food. One of the best things about this location is that it is huge and you can have a great happy hour or meal with a large group without having to wait for 2 hrs for seating. This location in particular is extremely modern and sleek to compliment the fact that it’s in a casino. They have these booths on the sides that look like they are for karaōke, but I think are for gaming? Sadly they are forever empty. Happy hour is one of the best times to come here, it is from 4 – 6 pm and consists of good beer discounts and better food ones. My favorites are the famous crab fries combo for $ 5 and a personal pizza $ 5. Oddly enough they make some of the best pizza I’ve had; their sauce is a little spicy and just delicious. As for regular food, here’s what to order: 1. Spicy shrimp — This is my absolute favorite item. As for some bread for dipping in that mound of oily goodness. 2. Bocce Meatball bowl — A newer food item, I HATE meatballs and these were airy and perfect. 3. Pizza — regular cheese or lobster white pizza — again, some of the best pizza! 4. Mussels — in white or red sauce — huge fan of the sauces they come in 5. King Crab legs! Huge and great garlic and old bay spice, I love their Wednesday all you can eat $ 30 special. 6. CRABFRIES! — I hate that I pay $ 7 for fries here… but they are SOOO addictive. Not a huge fan: 1. Fried Lobster Ravioli — more cheese than lobster, small portion. 2. Crab Cheesesteaks — I can’t get into this, my husband loves it, I HATE the meat & fish combo. 3. Burgers — not really a fan, they don’t do anything special, even the crab cake one leaves me feeling… meh. 4. Chicken Finger Sandwich — the MOST sad looking sandwich, just chicken and honey mustard, NO lettuce, tomatoe or ANYTHING. 5. Crab Bruchetta — just boring and lacking flavor. As everyone has mentioned, it’s a great sports bar — TV’s EVERYWHERE! I think the bar area is the best one to watch a million games simultaneously. The only star I’m taking off is for service, no matter where you sit, the bar or table, service takes a bit long. Also if you are missing something or need a refill, it takes them a while to get back to your table. Overall, really became a Chickie & Pete’s lover myself now and definitely take everyone I know over to get some fries and seafood.

The food was delicious and quick. But our waitress was completely impersonable and in lala land. I was definitely a little annoyed with her lack of service.

Always I enjoy this place. The Onion Ring Tower is always a winner for me. But the dry rub wings are a hit or miss with the wings. Trying the buffalo wings today and they were your basic spicy. Nut a much flavor as the dry rub I think. The shellfish chowder was a delight. Had a very nice spicy kick to it. Today’s waitress was last attentive of all my visits. Sat around waiting for her. And it’s not that crowded. A slow day so easy to get caught up talking with co workers Still one of the best places to eat within Parx casino by far. Many tasty choices to choose from and that’s a plus. So I’m sure I’ll be back soon .

Probably the slowest service I’ve experienced in a while. Came here two weeks ago and gave it a second chance. It’s like the servers forget they are here to work. Or that they have tables. More often than not they are hanging with bartenders while you wait for your drinks and food to make it to your table. Hopefully they can get their act together.

I usually love Chickie’s & Pete’s. I always get the hot shrimp, mussels in red, and crab fries. However this time the mussels were terrible! They tasted like they were frozen then overcooked. I ate 2 of them hoping that the first one was just a fluke. Nope! It was disgusting! The texture was gelatinous and they were some air bubbles on a couple of them. I should have took a picture before I popped it but I posted one after. I will never get the mussels again! I feel like I am off mussels for good. Oh yea and the dipping bread was stale.

Always attend the Super Bowl Party here! Ambience: Typical Sports bar w/a upscale VIP experience. It’s a bar atmosphere, loud chatter with screens all around playing sports. Food Presentation: nothing fancy as the food typical speaks for itself Taste: I usually order the infamous«crab fries» –old bay seasoning w/cheese dipping sauce. These are so good they’re addictive. The«snow crabs» are also my favorite. They have mastered all the flavors that go in to these crab. Everything is good, down to the sauce that they are placed in! Server: I’m glad I came out as my server was now other than Kristen Alderson–«Star» from One Life To Live. She was awesome in person. Very sweet and accommodating. This was a huge shocker as I kept eying her, until I just asked«do people tell you look like Star from the soap opera» she chuckled and said that’s me!!! It was great to hang out with her as I scarfed down my food! Revisit: Always the food and service is excellent here

Went there with a group of friends last night to watch the Eagles game and it started out really awesome but our waitress disappeared most of the night. We ordered rounds of beer which ended up taking over 15 minutes to get to our table. A pitcher of water took 10 minutes and a tray of oysters took 25. Food was pretty good but the service was not up to where it needs to be. Especially for a casino. The only positives were the draft beer list and it was a good spot to watch the game.

I can’t stand getting ripped off, they use bar wear that looks like pint glasses, but really holds 14 oz. if filled to the brim. Well, this is a typical pour at Chickie & Cheats. Two fingers of head, check out the before and after. I probably got less than 12 oz here. Cheat, err, Pete is getting an additional $ 115 out of a keg by serving 12 oz pours vs a true 14 oz.

Took my niece here for lunch today. It was AWFUL! We had the dry rub wings which were quite good. I had raved to her about the lobster pie and the lobster cheese steak. She got the pie and I got the cheese steak. They were both horrible! The«lobster» was truly disgusting. It looked like uncooked shrimp, and the pizza was rubbery. When we called the waitress over she sent for the manager, who said it was cold water lobster, which always looks like that. Bull***t. I have never seen lobster look that disgusting. My husband and I have eaten here numerous times in the past 4 years and it was NEVER like this. I guess they’ve changed their ingredients. It was embarrassing to treat someone to lunch there and have to return all the food. I will never eat there again.

I stopped at this C&P to get a salad. I thought that would have no trouble completing this some what easy task. The salad its self was mediocre some of the salad leaves were wilted and over all it did not taste fresh. The cherry tomatoes that came with it were a bit old as well. The croutons on top were poorly seasoned and were soaked on oil. Also I ordered the balsamic vinaigrette the dressing was abnormally thick in consistency and overly sweet for a vinaigrette definitely not worth the $ 8.00. Final thought if they don’t put care into an easy dish such as a salad i would hate to try anything else that would require a bit more effort to construct. My final rating: 2.5÷5

My friend and I went to this place because it seemed fun. The atmosphere was nice. I mean it is a sports bar, but it was still pretty nice. The reason they get 2 starts is for the décor and crab bisque. Everything else was horrible! Our server was slow and didn’t pay much attention to us though she only had 1 other table in our section. The food was barely edible(we sent back part of our order) and the drinks were just ok. I have no desire to return to this restaurant.

Great atmosphere especially with the game rooms. The service was great even though our muscles got messed up twice. The bartender bought us a round of drinks and all was good. Very big place with a good set up. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and the staff was helpful.

I write this review as I sit and eat. I ordered fried calamari, mozzarella sticks, and mushroom and swiss burger. All were hot and pretty tasty. The food arrived in astounding time. Less than 5 minutes I swear. I have no idea how they pulled that one off but kudos. Those are all the positives. Now for the not so good. I barely seen our waitress after our food was brought out. My mother said her crab legs were average supermarket quality. For the price, it certainly wasn’t worth it. Overall not a bad experience but not a good enough one to return in my opinion. Especially after losing money in the casino Lol

I’ve always had a good time here. and Yes I make a huge deal over crab fries… lol! So what it’s only old bay and melted cheese! I’ve tried to make that cheese at home and got horrible results! Lol. Even when they’re most crowded, I’ve rarely waited for more than ten minutes for a table. Crab fries are my usual go to starter. Honestly I haven’t had anything else but the dry rubbed wings, mini lobster tails and hot shrimp. But folks around me grubbing down on those market priced crab claws with butter and juices dribbling down their mouths always seem happy! Lol. Drinks are Awesome too and reasonably priced. Good hands tend the bars here folks. I get food comps so half of my bill is paid with those which is an added plus!
