Meh. Average all the way around. If you are shopping near by great but don’t make it your destination. The server was great and very professional. Food was average tasting with smaller(not small but not regular even for upscale restaurants) Will be back next time I happen to be hungry WHILE inside Neiman Marcus.

Great customer service from the hostess to the waiter & the manager! Had a great lunch here and would love to come back again soon. The only thing that was disappointing was the popovers. One of my favorite things at mariposa but it didn’t taste fresh at 11am :(

Came here for a great girls lunch. The food was hands down some of the most decadent I’ve had in awhile at this price range. Our server was very knowledgable about all menu items and was very helpful when it came to helping us decide . Before we even ordered we were served with a brioche style bread with strawberry butter. It was gravely. Light and buttery with the sweet creamy and fruity butter. So delicious. Then we were served a shot of chicken broth and a bite size cheddar biscuit. I wish I lived closer so when I was sick I could drink endless amounts of the broth. So delicious. for lunch I had the quinoa and shrimp salad with a pomegranate vinaigrette. We ordered the Kings estate Pinot noir and it was so smooth and paired well with our lunch. The shrimp in my salad was perfectly cooked, the dressing was just the right mix of bitter and sweet, the greens were fresh and crisp with the right amount of quinoa to still justify it as a salad topping and not a salad in itself . We were all so full we didn’t eat dessert. Our service was remarkable and the food was right up their with the service.

I am a vegetarian and thought the food was not worth the money. Went for a GNO ! Not a whole lot of veggie options and once they have are not great.

I had been here a few years ago and don’t remember it standing out, but I decided to give it another shot since a friend recently mentioned she’d had a good experience and I was in Bravern. This time, I was very impressed! Seating in the dining room was taking a bit so we decided to sit at the(empty) bar — that was a great move. Service from Britney was impeccable: attentive and cheerful. Since it was Restaurant Week, they had the two-course fixed menu. I decided to get the Croque Madame off the regular menu, but I also wanted to try just the hummus platter off the fixed menu as appetizer. No problem! Every meal starts with a fluffy popover, strawberry butter, rich chicken broth shot, and mini-cheese biscuit as soon as you sit down, and these were all delicious. Hummus platter was amazing, three different types with soft pita — obviously made with love in-house. They need to put this on the regular menu, because somebody back there is clearly a hummus master. Croque Madame also great, topped with sunny-side up egg. Finally, they put in extra popovers(with strawberry butter of course) in the doggy bags. Classy! Definitely a new regular place up there with Howie’s and Gaucho.

Great food and service! I loved sitting at the bar and chatting with the beautiful bartender, Brittany. Very unique drinks on their menu and they are made with fresh ingredients! They do close at 4pm, so this is a perfect lunch spot in Bellevue. Parking is validated.

+/-Cute café located in one corner of the Neiman Marcus store on their top floor. Need to ask for direction to find the place. + popovers with strawberry butter + chicken broth served in a mini-tea cup with mini-biscuits + food is quite tasty and nice presentation — It is advertised as an upscale contemporary cuisine. I was quite disappointed that one waiter didn’t know the menu, dropping silverware, and asking customers to hand over the plate instead of walking around the table to do what he is supposed to — do not take American Express credit card

Pretty lunch with pretty ambiance and great service! I’ve been here a few too many times by now but I still love this place. Who wouldn’t love a restaurant right inside Neiman Marcus? Seriously! Service– I think my favorite part here is their service! Everyone’s outstanding, polite, efficient and just great. My recent meal was yesterday for my birthday. We came to have tea and champagne but ended up eating here because my girlfriend couldn’t resist the food :) We mentioned that it was my birthday. The manager brought us dessert with candle on it at the end. That was a nice touch. We didn’t have to say or ask anything. I love! Food– food can be on the pricier side but everything is so tasty. The best part? As soon as you sat down, they will bring you this amazing smelling and tasting chicken broth with tiny cheddar bay biscuit. It is my FAVORITEEEEEE part! SOooooo goood. I wanted to ask for refills. Plural. Refills! One wouldn’t be enough. I want many! Sandwiches & wraps– delicious! We’ve had pulled pork wrap with cute little fries cup and fruit cup. Salmon– yummm! Ahi tuna appetizer — I love this! So fresh and pink. Super tasty. Banana bread pudding– warm and toasty with ice cream on top. Spaghetti — delish! Champagne– this is where they lose a star. Veuve is $ 21 a glass. It is pretty steep! I drink veuve all the time this was a little too pricey for me. That being said, it is in Neiman Marcus. I get the markup. But our lovely waitress brought me a few new pot of teas when mine got cold. Thanks Marissa! You rock! Overall, this is where I can come sit in their private booths and giggle with my girlfriends for hours. We can eat, drink and not feel pressured or rushed even when they are closed. So courteous! So fun. I love indulging here!!! Just love! Looking forward to another lovely afternoon. But with a lot of those chicken broth thingy.

Love to «lunch» here with the ladies. You’re offered a darling cup of Neiman Marcus chicken broth with a tiny cheddar biscuit. Then the popovers arrive with strawberry butter. Service staff is always wonderful and attentive. I enjoy the variety of the menu and appreciate the healthier options.

yum! i love how they start you off with some chicken broth and a biscuit, both of which are very tasty, and then the popover with strawberry butter. I ordered the pomegranate lemonade and salmon from the regular menu. i missed the specials as they were in a separate menu. initially i thought it was a drink menu so bypassed it, but i’m glad i didn’t order from it because the salmon from the regular menu was great. perfectly seared with a drizzle of balsamic and perfect veggie accompaniments. the lemonade was tangy and sweet at the same time. and to top of the meal, the cake of the day was a deliciously moist carrot cake. service was great and attentive. i had such a pleasant experience i’ll be back to try other items as well.

Great selection, good ambiance for brunch but not busy at all on a Sunday morning. Wonder why. maybe it’s not marketed well. Would improve the ambiance if I could… feels like a department store.

My first time here was with a girl friend and her baby girl. The wait staff was very pleasant and inviting to the baby. I would say this place is kid-friendly to the staff but not so much to the diners. It’s a pretty quiet place though the noise level is not silent with quiet whispers. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, but at the same time allowed us to talk privately. The food was good but did not wow me. I will be visiting again to try other items on the menu in order to provide a more accurate review of the food. I experienced nothing that would deter me from coming back and I definitely plan on coming back for a second and hopefully many more future visits.

I genuinely enjoy eating here at Mariposa! They start you off with the cutest cup of chicken broth and cheese biscuit and a famous Neiman Marcus popover with strawberry butter. I grew up in California and so when we moved to WA, I was so upset that I couldn’t eat popovers that I tried making them at home. Sadly, I quickly realized that only Neiman Marcus knows how to make them properly. The servers are really attentive and my sister who’s 6 is hooked on their broth and biscuits(addicted, really) and they are nice enough to bring her more because she’s more adorable than an average human(me). The servers really will go out of their way to make your dining experience the most pleasurable. One time my mom ordered and decided to go shopping(do you hear my eyes rolling?) and everyone’s food came out. Our server kept my mom’s dish under a heating lamp so that it would stay warm until she came back. I’ve ordered their Vietnamese Steak Salad, Burger, and Mediterranean wrap. I love them all but the wrap is kind of small. Their burger though… yum! Sometimes they have a guacamole burger and that is hands down the best. The ambiance is also great. This place is a must if you are shopping in the Bravern!

Located in the fancy-smancy Neiman Marcus in Bellevue. The menu definitely has the high end feel. They bring you«bread to start you off, which is actually an eggy-broche pop over, served with strawberry butter. It tastes like butter and strawberry jam blended together. I ordered the Turkey portobello mushroom burger with some shoe string fries. It was delicious, and the serving portion was generous without being gluttonous. My friend ordered the turkey sandwich which came with a side salad and some fruit. At the end of our meal, we were given a chocolate covered mint stick. Delicious. Overall, it reminded me of a pricer Nordstroms Café. Either way, it was a nice way to spend my lunch!

My sister and I came here for lunch for Restaurant Week and we walked in on a Thursday right at 11 when they opened for lunch. Apparently, we should have made a reservation because we were informed that they did not have an open seating until 1:30(!). We were told we could sit in the bar and so we did. It was a good thing we got there early because their bar is really tiny; maybe 7 – 8 seats. The bartender who was helping us was amazing! Super attentive and really nice. As my sister and I looked at the menu, we were given tiny demitasse cups of chicken broth with a mini cheese biscuit. The chicken broth was the best I’ve ever tasted! It was like drinking a chicken(my sister’s words). This would actually be reason enough to come here. After our chicken broth came an entire popover for each of us and strawberry butter. We hadn’t even gotten to the start of our actual meal! For appetizers, we got the french onion soup and crab cakes. The soup was good and beefy and onion-y and the crab cakes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Next up were my sister’s chicken and risotto and my salmon BLT. The chicken and risotto were really bland, especially the chicken. Did they not use their chicken broth to make the risotto? The salmon in my sandwich was perfectly cooked and was delicious with the bacon! For dessert were the profiterole and chocolate mousse. The profiterole was a little hard to eat with the ice cream in it. The mousse was so light and smooth and creamy! I definitely want to come back and I will for sure make a reservation this time.

My parents and I dined here for Restaurant Week but there was nothing on or in the menu about the specials! We had to ask our waitress about the dishes and she brought back a sheet of computer paper which had the different options just printed on there. There were pencil marks and scribbles everywhere which was very unprofessional for a restaurant which charges ridiculous prices for their dishes. It was very obvious that they weren’t promoting Restaurant Week at this location. They shouldn’t have even bothered being part of it because it was very clear that it wasn’t advertised anywhere and the wait staff was not trained at all. At least print out a menu to show your customers! I had the Caesar Salad — Turkey Burger — Profiterole combo which was pretty filling for $ 15. My parents also ordered the Turkey Burger so I’m not sure how the other main dishes were. Our waitress forgot to bring our sweet potato fries which comes with the burger and she claimed that it didn’t come with any so I pulled up the menu on my phone to show her that it IS included with the meal. She was one of the least enthusiastic and attentive waitresses I have ever had. For a place that is way over-priced for the food you get, I’m surprised they didn’t promote Restaurant Week to their customers since they clearly need it if they want to stay competitive. The place was almost empty on a Sunday at 1pm. The décor inside this place is very lacking and does not feel luxurious at all. If you’re looking to try out a Mariposa, save your money and go to the one in Honolulu since that location offered WAY better service and décor. Don’t waste your money at this Bellevue location because you will walk out very disappointed with your service and experience.

Ever since The Bravern opened, I’ve wondered: who shops there?! Well, after finally deciding to check the place out, the answer is: no one. I’m serious. It was a ghost town on a Saturday afternoon. My friend and I decided to grab lunch at the Neiman Marcus restaurant because, well, that was about the only thing we could afford at Neiman’s. We dined next to models(they eat!), who had just finished up some fashion show on the lower level(considering how dead it was down there, they probably got off work early). Anyway, the service was friendly and attentive for us non-models. I ordered the Vietnemese steak salad, which was a teensy bit over-priced, but it was good. I did love the little surprises that came with the meal though. First, we were brought an adorable, tiny mug of chicken broth with an adorable, tiny little biscuit for dipping. Next, we were brought a warm brioche with strawberry butter that I devoured. Yum! I can’t say I’ll be back to The Bravern. I wouldn’t go out of my way to dine at Mariposa, but should I ever find myself back at Neiman’s picking out china patterns or something, I’d stop here again for a quick bite.
