After looking at the reviews, there was a zero percent chance I was going to tempt fate and try the food here. However, I figured a drink couldn’t hurt since I was already here. The first thing you’ll notice is just how easy on the eyes the space is. Modern and tasteful decorations, but it still remains comfortable. I don’t think there’s a bar of any kind on the Eastside that has more televisions than Amuse. The aforementioned drink was just okay, bordering on underwhelming. Tip: If you’re looking to watch a specific sporting event during the week, sit up at the bar, and they’ll turn down the music so you can watch AND listen to the broadcast.

I couldn’t drag my coworkers back here. One of my coworkers ordered a chicken sandwich that came with a comically large piece of greasy cheese, it was thicker than the grilled chicken! The service was the worst part with having to continually flag down our waitress for service despite there being only one other group. They had enough seating to accommodate at least 80 people, but maybe 10 people were actually there for lunch giving it a terrible atmosphere.

Went there last night, it’s going downhill. service became horrible, unprofessional staff. Dirty glassware !! I ordered wine, and the glass that server brought was all dirty and sticky ! She didn’t even bother to wipe at least. Then one of us ordered shrimp cocktail, she forgot about it, after maybe 40 min we asked if it’s coming, she just said oh I forgot, I’ll put it in the order now. One thing even made me laugh, but it was sad laughing. My boyfriend couldn’t decide what he wants to drink, so she said: oh I see you biting your nails, is it hard to choose? That was unexpected conversation starter :) Well as returned guest, I’m disappointed in this bar/restaurant, won’t come back again probably

Pros: great food! Must try garlic fries Great atmosphere! It is homey yet classic. Not a lot of people yet so it makes the place more comfortable. Great hours and location. Cons: some waitresses are great, but some have poor service. Had 1 fantastic experience and terrible experience once. Tips: seat yourself.

I went here for a work happy hour, 4 pm on a Friday. Overall I would say we ended up being around 20 people who took up two tables. There were maybe 10 other people in the entire area. I’d say the place was… 10% full? We reserved 3 tables. I would expect any restaurant who knows there will be 3 tables worth of people showing up to plan for it, but apparently that was not the case. Even the early group, which was a group of 5 people, had incorrect beers/drinks given to them. My order of a gin and soda turned out to be a vodka tonic… which I didn’t complain about as it seemed as though the ONE waitress on staff was brand new and already overwhelmed with just 5 people. I ordered the meatball appetizer which took over 30 minutes to arrive as it was obviously forgotten. It also arrived lukewarm… and of course it took around 15 minutes to get anyones attention to heat it up. Maybe they will settle in later, but at this rate this place should be replaced within the next year.

Meh. Okay food. Pricey for what it is. Not bad food, just pricey. Service was also eh. Was here twice and both times water was slow to be refilled or not refilled at all. Honestly, lots of better places to go in the area.

We had a company happy hour event(about 30 people) at Amuse and was very impressed with the level of attentive service, food/drink quality and reasonable prices. I had the hummus platter that came with 3 different types of hummus. Very tasty. Cocktails are very reasonable prices during happy hour. $ 3 well drinks at 3pm, $ 4 drinks at 4pm and $ 5 drinks at 5pm. The sales professionals in our office were also impressed… and they’re not easy to please. We’ll be back again I’m sure!

Pretty good food. Average prices for a hotel. Servers are attentive and expeditious. I’ve been here twice after 9pm and Elena has waited on me both times. She’s very sweet and makes sure she gets the order right and out fast. The garlic fries are pretty good and only about $ 5. Besides 13 coins, this is probably one of the only places, in Downtown Bellevue, to eat after 11pm without a douchey atmosphere. The services is way better than the 13 coins… which has great food but horrible service.
