I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve been coming here for 2 years. The happy hour menu is better than any other. Say hello to Victor or Milton. A nice quiet place for a date.

It takes a really negative experience for me to offer a low number of stars. I was torn between doing One star or two. I decided to go with two stores, but barely. My coworkers and I went to the bar to try it out as we just moved to the neighborhood. Standing by the sign that says«please wait to be seated», we were never seated or even noticed-even though there were only two people in the bar plus the bartender himself. We finally walked in and asked if we could have a seat and his response was«I don’t care». He finally came over to get our drink order when I asked if he has a wine list. His response? Very flat answer of no. Then just look back at us-I had to ask him then what kind of wine did he serve? His response-«what kind do you want». Finally got him to say what kinds of wines he had(it isn’t posted anywhere, there is no way anyone could know). it took about another five minutes for us to get our wine, even though, again, there was only a couple other people in the bar. We placed our order for appetizers-which he managed to forget part of, and was poor at best when we finally got the food. There were a couple other people in the bar, one sitting at the bar right in front of the bartender and he never got served. After 20 minutes he just got up and left. The service here is abysmal at best, the wine subpar and the food just as poor. I won’t be coming here again-and given the number of restaurants, bars, and pubs available in the immediate vicinity you would be best served to find another location as well.

Uh, I really don’t have anything stellar to write about this place. When my and my party of 3 arrived, we asked to see the bar/wine list the clueless bartender just stated their varietal choices w/o even having any sort of wine/alcohol list. We just ordered the cab and went about our business. We ordered food, which the bartender missed an order and we didn’t get until we asked. During this time he didn’t offer any refills on our drinks and didn’t once follow up even though we were only one of 3 tables with people in the bar. He did, however, pay quite a lot of attention to some young girl on her laptop in the corner. After we got the appetizer he missed and he finally refilled our wine glasses, two people got up from the bar and left because they were never served. The food was mediocre, the wine drinkable but obviously open for a while and the service was sub par at best. This was my first time here, and my last.

We were here for a work conference. Our dinner at Jonah’s was very good. The vegetables were done perfectly. I had the crab cakes, and the person I shared a meal with had steak. The deep fryer was in a state of disrepair, so we couldn’t have the chicken wing appetizer we wanted, and no steak fries, but the substitutions were fine. The service was spot on.

My first time there & what a good time I had! I didn’t eat anything but they had karaōke with Aurie & it was a lot of fun! I made new friends, sang my heart out, & everyone was very friendly & nice! I’ll be back on a Wednesday for sure!

Horrible customer service. This is part of the red lion hotel. The waiters had no connection to the back kitchen with little communication. We were 1 of 4 people in the restaurant and she couldn’t provide timely service. Appetizer came out with our meal and she seamed to care little about us. Would not recommend it.

Without a doubt the worst happy hour in Bellevue. Don’t order a vodka drink unless you want to clean drains… The appetizers aren’t much better — the pork amounts to them overcooking a frozen breaded pork cutlet and throwing some sesame on it.

Stayed at the Red Lion Hotel and my sister and I wanted a quick easy breakfast before we headed home so we decided to head to Red Lion’s resteraunt, Jonah’s. When we first walked in the sign said please wait to be seated but no one really came so we just walked to a table and sat down. We went to check out the buffet but weren’t sure if that was what we wanted and no one brought us menu’s so we had to ask the waiter(if you could even call him that). After looking over the menu and didn’t see anything worth getting we decided to pay the $ 11.00 for the buffet. The buffet consisted of bacon, sausage, eggs, potateos, oatmeal, ceral, yogurt, and a variety of different breads. The food was alright, nothing special. Wasn’t worth the $ 11.00 that we each paid. It reminded me of a free breakfast that is included when you are staying at hotels. After finishing we were unsure of how to pay so we just walked up to the front and paid before we left. If I stay at the Red Lion again I probably won’t be going back to this place for breakfast. It is nice that the location is right at the hotel but when you are in Bellevue there are much better places relatively close by that you can pay $ 11.00 and get a much better breakfast.

Nicest thing i could say about this place is that it is a basic hotel/motel restaurant. Very basic and they struggle with anything much beyond soup and sandwich. Service was friendly, if not overly so. As to food, my pork dish was: small portion — supposed to be jerk flavor but mostly pepper, somewhat overcooked and not at all sure about the freshness of the ingredients. And the vegetables! Guess they were supposed to be «roasted» but, carrots were undercooked and not edible(would have been better if they were raw. Wife flatrion steak was OK, but too much brown sauce covered any steak flavor. Not going back, with or without coupon!

So I had a certificate so I was going to take my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner for steak. Their menu online looked decent so we headed out there tonight. We were seated and I ordered a strawberry lemonade and my boyfriend ordered a glass of red wine. My drink came out and there was a fly in it so I asked for a coke. Then my boyfriends wine came out and it also had a bug in it. We then decided to leave.

Not Service Oriented. A large group held a meeting in a meeting room in the building where this restaurant is located; and we pre-arranged to have 20 – 30 of us eat there after the meeting. As we entered the restaurant there was no one to greet us for several minutes. The phone rang off the hook while we stood and waited. Finally someone came out. It was then we found out they were not willing to do separate checks. We were about to leave for another restaurant that does when the manager(the only other wait staff person there) came out and hedged on that. The attitude is in general is: whatever. Some of our party even helped get the right food to the right people; acting as servers themselves. At the end, many of us had to go up to the cashier(a.k.a. server) and tell her what we ordered so she could ring up the bill. To me; a restaurant is a service-oriented business; if service is not good, the restaurant is not good. I don’t care how good the food is.

We are staying at the Red Lion Inn; Jonah’s is the on-site restaurant. When popped in at 11am on our first day here, starving and tired from travel and in desperate need of a good breakfast. Alas, a good breakfast was not found at Jonah’s. It’s a shame because everything else about the hotel has been fine, but they are really missing the boat with this restaurant. Upon walking into the joint, there was a sign that said to wait to be seated, but no host or waiter to be found. After a couple minutes, when the waiter came out and saw us, he told us to seat ourselves as he asked whether we’d like the buffet or something from the menu(how do I know if I haven’t seen the menu and why are you speaking to me from across the room?). Hubby said«buffet», so we were told to go ahead and get started and the waiter would be over in a minute. When we took a look at the buffet, which consisted of greasy items that had obviously been hanging out in the chafing dishes for way too long, we flagged him down and said we decided to look at the menu. At this, the waiter(still speaking from across the room) told us to grab the menus from the host station ourselves. I’ve never had service like this! Once we got past all that, service was better, but our food was ok to bad anyway. I had oatmeal that was a gloppy mess. Hubby had eggs and toast with bacon – all edible, but nothing more. We are in the hotel for 5 days, but will never be eating here again.
