Denny’s

Avoid at all costs! I had breakfast here with a coworker. His choice, not mine. The dinning room smelled and was very worn and dirty. A couple hours after breakfast I started to feel queasy and light headed. By the afternoon I was horribly sick and in the hospital. I had to spend 24 hours in the hospital and was left extremely dehydrated, weak, and lost several days of work. For the longest time I was a big fan of Denny’s. I will never eat at Denny’s again, and now advise all my friends and family to not eat there either, for their own safety.

Long wait. Shorted on the food. No refill on coffee. We are never coming to this location again.

I love Denny’s and went to this location for dinner. It seemed a little run down compared to other Denny’s we have been in. The rest room smelt like urine extremely bad. We were put I a corner booth and it smelt of urine as well. It kind of ruined my appetite. I was told if you want to know the cleanliness of the kitchen, look at the bathroom. If this statement is true I am sure I will be in the hospital with food poisoning tomorrow.
Food tasted the same as always. Tried the spaghetti and meatballs as well as a cup of cheddar and broccoli soup. Amazing as always.

One star is pushing it.

Classic american diner. Great for an old fashioned breakfast. It’s a Denny’s… you know what to expect. 4 stars for Eduardo… he’s been working there for years, is incredibly friendly and provides top notch service.

This Denny’s is proof that I should NOT expect a certain amount of professionalism from every restaurant I go to. The food here was average, mostly frozen and quickly assembled, exactly what I expected to find. I ordered a bacon avocado burrito (with no bacon, as I am vegetarian) and my order was changed accordingly.
However, the staff were a sight to be seen. When we walked in, there was a girl at the front cash register that looked lost as soon as we walked in the door. She walked away without saying anything to go see what tables were available. She then came back, got our menus and seated us, without saying a word until she said «What do you want to drink?» at the table. She was apparently a new-​hire, so I can be accepting of her impersonal approach. However, when she was taking the order of the next table over, an older woman came to assist her. She whispered something in her ear while the girl was taking their order, stopping them in mid sentence! Turns out, it was only to tell them they should order a grand slam instead of the three items they had each ordered. Basically, she was interrupted to remember to upsize. After this, they received their food and check before we did, though we had ordered 10 minutes before them. The new waitress checked up on them twice during their meal, while she only returned to our table to give us the check without saying anything.
The front kitchen area, where all the employees were huddling, was a loud mess of angry yelling and inappropriate, loud singing the entire time. The woman that was singing then was the one to work the cash register as we paid. She was very enthusiastic with to my fiancé, calling him «boo,» completely ignoring my presence.
As much as I love Denny’s, the outdated and under-​managed appearance should have been a giveaway that I wouldn’t find the diner atmosphere I was hoping for. I will definitely not be returning to this location.

This Denny’s is right on the edge of Downtown and the location is convenient. When my daughter is in town and wants a no nonsense ‘merican breakfast, a break from mom’s «fancy» restaurants, Denny’s serves it up right! Pancakes, eggs, breakfast meats, all of the basic breakfast items! I wouldn’t recommend ordering off of any special menus, anything outside of the norm may be beyond this restaurant. During my most recent visit, I ordered a «Hobbit Hole» breakfast and the cook improvised by cutting a hole in a burger bun with sunny side up eggs (I’m not a fan of runny yolk), vs the special cheddar bun and fried eggs. The manager took the meal off of the bill with my slightest complaint. I was even offered a free breakfast for my next visit, which I appreciate, but it is not necessary. They had the appropriate items on hand, the cook just decided to do his own thing. Generally, I have not had an issue at this location and enjoy my ‘merican meal. I’ll be back!
Compared to other restaurants that cost under $ 15 per person after tip, Denny’s food is pretty decent. This location is in desperate need of an update, the inside is tore up!

The prime rib philly melt was transcendently fantastic. The dining room was messy, and our table was missing condiments.

It’s Denny’s, what more can I say. The décor and the design was very outdated. The seats need to be re-​upholstered really bad. The waiter was nice. The food was cooked correctly, they just use cheap ingredients.
The bathroom was dirty. It’s a disaster.

I invited my good friend for her birthday breakfast, lunch, happy hour or dinenr, my treat, anywhere she wanted to go. I then got excited that we would be going somewhere wonderful.
To my surprise, my friend chose Denny’s. When I met her at Denny’s she told me Denny’s gives customers a free Grandslam breakfast on their birthday. I had my first Grandslam too.
The food was served quick, the waitperson was helpful, and even told us my friend could also have the amount of the Grandslam off any other menu item.
When the bill came it was amazingly minimal. What more could we want?

I waited more than 30 mins then left. I didnt get it.

One word: disgusting.
Hadn’t eaten at a Denny’s in many years. And now I remember why. I’m only writing this review because the atmosphere/​service/​food can vary between locations. This is a bottom of the barrel location. Ate here on a very late weekday night. That is the only good thing I can say about it is that it was open!
The toilet wasn’t flushing in the bathroom and was disgusting.
The dining room was dingy and dirty feeling.
The server was an unsavory character but friendly. No points off for him, seemed like a good guy.
A couple of juices and two breakfast entrees + tip = $ 31. Food was typical Denny’s. I was scared to eat it since the place felt so dirty and dingy but I did and didn’t get sick. I feel like an idiot for going here. Should have went through a ²⁴⁄₇ drive-​thru at Jack or McD, ate in the car, and saved $ 20. How does this place stay in business?
In general this is a solid one star. For a Denny’s it’s a 1.5.

Worst Denny’s I have ever been to. My husband and I ate here while staying at The Coast Hotel. We both ordered omletd and they were horrible. They were small and missing ingredients. I recommend the Eastside Bar and Grill in front of the hotel for a quick cheap bit instead.

Gross. This is a Denny’s so I don’t expect anything above subpar for the food; but the service sucks, the employees are creepy, and the place is just filthy inside. Just save yourself the trip and don’t eat here.

If living in upscale Bellevue has gotten boring and you need to dive down to feel a scratch above the poverty level and don’t want to travel far, visit this Denny’s.

Yeeeecccchhh! Horrible place. First off, very old, shabby, dirty. Definitely showing its age, not in a good way. Needs a good clean and updating.
Service was horrible. I love Denny’s for quick breakfasts and lunches. But not here! Had a Dr. appt. and needed to get in and out. Sat at the counter. Watched a waitress behind the counter mop the floor, disappear several times in to the back, come back and then mess around with ketchup dispensers, but never waited on me.
Place was almost empty. The other waitress just hung out at the cash register doing nothing. Could not get the attention of the one behind the counter, so finally got up and asked the one at the register to help me. Yes, she did.
I ordered bacon and eggs, and an english muffin. Food came in about 5 minutes and waitress said «you english muffin will be up in a minute». Well, it was ready in a minute, but she never went to get it and bring it to me, so I finally got it when I was done eating everything else and ready to leave.
Never got a check, although I asked for one. So I looked up the price in the menu, figured in sales tax, and left about 25cents above that amount next to my empty plate.
Do NOT go here… dirty, depressing, weird clientele, extremely poor service. Be forewarned!

Love Denny’s. Not this one. Always out of items. Things you would expect them to have such as chicken strips, croutons, diet coke, soup!
This location used to be packed at lunch, for years and years! Went there today, they actually had chicken strips and diet coke! (we called ahead to make sure, actually, after multiple times being disappointed.) There were only 5 tables filled through the lunch hour.
Great service though! Just needs a new manager who knows how to order enough food.

If no stars existed they would get none. I have been coming to this location infrequently over the course decades and I have to say the service was incredibly poor, the clientele was shady and the food was consistent with Denny’s boring quality. I don’t think I’ll go to a Denny’s again. The nostalgia is out of my system forever.

I usually go to denny’s at 148 NE but it had an restoration 1 week ago so I had my breakfast at this one. I am a tourist so I paid my check cash. It cost $ 12 and i paid $ 20. I wanted to add 1 peacan pie to go and the guy priced it to me $ 8!!! A week after when I went to Dennys at 148, I bought whole pie to $ 8 which has 10 slices!
I should check the menu but I just decided not to tip. I prefer being hungry instead of going there again.

This has to be the ultimate dive of any Denny’s restaurant chain in the country and I mean this in a not so good way at all. The carpets and booths show signs they have not been vacuumed in a long time. Also, the men’s restroom lacks a soap dispenser which makes you wonder if the male employees that use that restroom just do the water rinse of the hands.
A couple times on a weekday afternoon, I’ve had a server by the name of Eduardo. Expect to never get refills of any kind and before eating the bill on top of bothering you constantly to pay now.
I will never go there again. The customer service by Eduardo is below unacceptably rude and the facility is by far very dirty.
If you have to pay a toll on the 520 bridge to find better eateries, do it. This place doesn’t have soap, lacks customer service and I’m sure lacks a vacuum or anything that is to help keep the place moderately well kept. You will not eat happy at this dennies.
