I loved this place! So good! But last few times I walked by it, they were shut down :/

Back in Seattle and had to visit Gophers! There is nothing like it anywhere else I have traveled. The product is still solid and tasty. I love the gopher with strawberries and white chocolate. Oh my it’s heavenly. Service was just fine but I got there when it wasn’t busy. They could smile more but the food makes up for it. I just like a good smile. Makes me feel warm and welcomed. Yummy good. Oh and I heard they opened another one in Puyalup!!! I gotta go check it out!

My fiancé had been mentioning this place because I love eating waffles. The store front is very cute especially with the kids’ table. It opened a year and a half ago, which surprised me because I had no idea. For a second breakfast(or a first lunch), we came by and ordered a Hawaiian Gopher(Canadian bacon and pineapple) and an Italian Gopher(pepperoni and mozzarella). The waffles were good, but I wish there was more stuffing. It wasn’t too sticky or greasy and the powdered sugar on top and the syrup in the waffle batter made the waffle that much better. Sadly, the waffles were a little burnt. I would say perhaps a classic would be the best.

After passing Gophers numerous times, my co-worker and I finally decided to give it a try during a recent trip to Factoria Mall. I was very apprehensive and had low expectations, to be quite candid. We ordered and split the Italian waffle, which was essentially just a stuffed waffled with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. With such simple ingredients, I doubted the waffle would be flavorful especially since there was no sauce. I was wrong! Quite surprising for me was the waffle itself which has such a great flavor; slighty sweet but not overpowering. Both my co-worker and I enjoyed the Italian waffle and we’ll be back again to try their other selections. One waffle is quite filling for a single person if you let it sit in your stomach for a few minutes. Give a shot, I think you’ll find it enjoyable too.

Came here when it was still kind of new. My coworker and I decided to give it a try after we just had our lunch. We both ordered one each filled with a fruit. He made hers first with no problem. When he tried to roll mine up with the fruits in it, he kept messing up, so he took his gloves off, and attempted to try again with a new ball of dough. As he was working with the dough with his bare hands, which he did not wash his hands after he had taken off the gloves, I noticed he had dirt under his fingernails. After he took cash from my coworker with his bare hands, he went and started on another ball of dough for another customer, again with his bare hands, and not having washed it after handling cash. I haven’t been here again since.

This is super adorable and the concept and family feel to it is really what brings me here. It’s family owned and most of the kids who work here are either family members or friends. Yes, they do look really young and act really young, but I still cringe when I think of how I was at my first job, and marvel at how I remained employed. The waffles are really creative and tasty, and the Italian sodas aren’t bad. They aren’t overly creamy or sticky, which I’m very grateful for. I also appreciate that the toppings are all fresh and we can pick and choose what we like. For waffles, the price isn’t THAT high. Yes the service could be more polite and quicker, but for what it is, it’s fine.

I love this place. Almost enough where I’d drive from the east end of Issaquah to go here. I’ve only ever ordered the classic gopher with the biscoff topping and a scoop of vanilla ice cream but I don’t ever want to taste anything different! It’s a small little corner shop but never too busy. They offer both savory and sweet. I believe they also roll the sugar pearls into their dough — making it extra deliciousssss! Needless to say — I love dessert and this place everyone should try, even if it’s a dessert stop after dinner elsewhere!

The girl who served me(Shea) was sick and had a friend there who talked to her the entire time. Throughout the time she made my waffle she just kept on talking into it and I could tell she was accidentally spitting into it. Yuck! On top of that, the waffle stuck to the top and she took the pieces and just put it on top of the waffle like it was fine. Since waffles had clearly been getting stuck there the entire day, burnt stuff was littered throughout the entire waffle. She had horrible service even though we tipped her $ 3 on a $ 4 waffle. Left the waffle because it was crumbly and looked disgusting, got back my money. I’m never going there again and I hope no one ever has to experience what I did.

Freaking delicious. Special waffles from some German town. Way better than any waffle you’ve had. Dense and bomb. You stuff them with all kinds of toppings. Savory or sweet. I got mine stuffed with white chocolate chips and spread cookie butter on top. Very affordable and good for a small lunch or a good dessert.

Great liege style waffles that you can customize with your choice of fillings and toppings. The dough is excellent and would be good plain but I enjoyed being able to add dried cherries and white chocolate for an even sweeter treat.

I was born and raised in Belgium, mere miles away from Liège(well… kilometers, since it’s Belgium). I can vouch for these waffles tasting like the real thing. The waffles do taste very authentic, and much better, in my opinion, than Brussels waffles(what Americans are used to calling«Belgian waffles»). If it was just a bit less pricey, this place would get five stars from me.

I made a Unilocal account just to rave about this. At first it seemed a bit pricey for a small waffle, but once I tried it I can’t stop thinking about it! It is totally different from the regular waffles out there and apparently it’s how the Belgian people make them. It is very dense and buttery and moist inside yet crispy in the outside… really fills you up. I get excited to go to Factoria mall now just to get a bite of one of these! I hope they keep making more chains everywhere :)

What a great spot to stop for a quick lunch with kids. Delicious made to order waffles that the kids loved to watch being made. «The waffles are REALLY good» says my five year old and she’s right. We ordered a strawberry and raspberry waffle and a strawberry pineapple waffle and the fruit is baked right inside creating a perfect crispy chewy combination. The owner was very nice as well! Will be back for sure!

I want to give them 4 stars but the waffles are just ok so 3.5. Workers are nice and the area looked clean. Might be back again if the price was a little cheaper.

We happened upon this place while at the mall. We tried both sweet and savory, both were yummy and the owner was great about explaining the process and what would taste best. Ours were made fresh with fruit and bacon. I would have preferred the fruit be fresh rather than frozen but they still came out pretty good. I would not try it without any additions though, tastes sort of like a pretzel. I do think the price was a tad high but I’ll go back again.

These cute little handheld mini Belgian waffles are a sweet sugary treat. These are not traditional Belgian waffles. They are more dense, and I didn’t realize they had little Belgian sugar crystals in them so even the savory versions are sweet. We had a classic and one with bacon. These are a fun little midmorning or afternoon snack but at about $ 4 a pop they are expensive. I feel like they got the price point wrong — which is too bad because I’d love to see them stick around for a long time…
