Tip or else … I think they did something to my meal to get me sick. It’s an order at the counter place with a tip jar next to the register. We were dinning in and wanted to see what type of service we would get before tipping. The cashier brought out our food. My daughter and I ordered the same thing but the cashier made a point of saying«this one is for mom». At the end of the meal I gave a tip but it was too late. I got so sick that night. Beware!

Went here once and ordered fried rice, I got a huge amount! It felt like a very decent deal. Your typical fried rice but it was a little on the greasy/oily side. The staff was also a bit mysterious and preoccupied with other things until someone had to be told to come to the front and take my order. I might go back but wouldn’t make a point to eat there on a regular basis.

Whoa. I’ve been to other Best Teriyaki locations so I thought I’d try this one, being quite near my new office. I ordered rice and eggroll, and sat down. You know how in some locally owned/mom & pop type restaurants, you’ll often see one table taken up by a worker rolling silverware, or filling salt shakers, or putting little to-go sauces together? Yes there was one of those. I’m not sure what the designated task was though, because aside from a water bottle, a cardboard box, and a shopping bag, the following items were prominently on display: 1. a pack of «Basic» brand cigarettes, standing up 2. a can of Febreze 3. an electric flyswatter. Go ahead, read that again. I said«electric flyswatter.» On a table in the middle of a restaurant at like 12:45 pm. I s*** you not. I’ll try to upload a photo later. Totally turned off by that whole scene, I tried to eat anyway. My rice was cold and stale; the egg roll contained onion chunks, carrot, and something else. Something that was gray. I really, honestly, don’t know what it was but I’m concerned it might have been meat of some variety at one time. It was, suffice it to say, not good and I stopped at one bite. I drank my whole Coke as it was all I was going to consume for lunch, and left out the side door.

Been coming here for years and never had any issues, but after I tried a new item, spicy pork, my stomach wasn’t happy. May have just been a little too spicy for me, but I’ll be ordering the spicy chicken going forward.

Prices were good, however the food not the«best». The teriyaki chicken was tastey and fine. Got the sweet and sour chicken and it had no sauce on it? She brought me the sauce squirter and I had to make a pool of sauce on the plate just to give them any flavor. Also got some gyoza, and was not impressed. Very stale and dry. As far as price it’s one of the cheaper ones. And the seating is good. Just alittle lacking on food quality.

Poor service with a mediocre quality of food. Don’t go here just because it’s close, you’ll regret it. The fact that they charge for refills on you’re drinks is a testament to how they feel about their customers.

Used to be a fan… but one rather horrible experience can really destroy it. The food is not the best — indeed, it’s really just about like any other cookie-cutter teriyaki place out there, but it’s a nice location, and it’s an easy go-to. The problem isn’t the food. Or even the servers. It’s the owner. I will put this right out there: my experience at the hands of the woman who owns the place was mortifying. There is never an excuse to call your customer’s out for, in your opinion, not knowing how to order their own food. Here’s the deal: If you’ve read my other reviews, you know I’m a picky eater. As such, I am more than willing to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. My order is odd — Chicken Yakisoba, no veggies, and because they tend to be a bit light on their sauce, I asked for extra Yakisoba sauce. Her response? She came out to my table, and told me, where my family, guests, and all the surrounding patrons could hear, that I had no business asking for extra sauce. If I wanted extra sauce, I could add the Teriyaki sauce they offer in plastic bottles on the table. When I insisted I would prefer to have the kitchen add the extra sauce, I was told flat out ‘no, that is not how you order Yakisoba’, and she walked away. I understand if a kitchen decides ‘no special orders’, or ‘no extra whatever’ added to their items. If she had said«I’m sorry, but we don’t offer additional sauce», I might have dealt with it better… But seriously, 1) Yakisoba and Teriyaki are two different kinds of sauces, unless your establishment is being /really/cheap and inauthentic. 2) Room temperature Teriyaki sauce added to a hot meal is not the same as the heated sauce they add while cooking, again, unless they’re not running things properly. Ultimately, the low score is because of horrible customer service. I’ve calmed down enough now that my delivery of the incident is far less emotional… but know this, there is no way I, or my family, am ever giving this place our custom again.

Waited 40 minutes to get our food and still no food. It was not busy at the time at all. Got a refund. 40 minutes of my life I can’t get back… thank goodness we got to cuddle in the booth for 40 minutes or I’d be giving it one star!

I like this Terriyaki place as it is close to my house and the Chicken is grilled perfectly every time. The quality is consistent. The owner is very nice and friendly.

My experience was very pleasant. The staff was nice and the food came out promptly. We ordered in and sat in the restaurant which had very large seating area and sauces to take to the table. Refills are $.50 for soda and water is free. The portions are big when you eat in the restaurant I’m not sure how much food you get when you order to go though. The food had flavor and was hot. The miso soup had a different flavor than what I’m used to and it only came out warm, could have been much hotter. The dressing on the salad was good and it wasn’t drowning the lettuce. Overall I would definitely go there again.

This restaurant is a bit hidden which is probably good because it is not much to look at in terms of appearance. Service is good, I have never had to wait and my food is always ready within 5 minutes of my order. Now I have only tried the Chicken Teriyaki so I can’t comment on any of the other dishes. I really liked the chicken, it is not a gourmet meal by any stretch but the lunch special goes until 3pm and is $ 6.75 for the teriyaki, rice and salad a good value. For an everyday meal either lunch or dinner you can’t beat it! Recommended

I always get the chicken teriyaki because you can never go wrong with an all time favorite. I also tried the tofu and general tso. You actually can’t go wrong with any of the combinations. I’ve had most of the other teriyaki places in beaverton but this location is quick hot and made to order. There portions is more than adequate for each person. The meals always have a side salad and an abundance of teriyaki sauce and sriracha.

The teriyaki here is good but definitely not the BEST. I always get the chicken and beef teriyaki plate with white rice. Between my boyfriend and I, our dinner comes out to about $ 16 not to bad. I would give this place a higher rating if their staff was actually pleasant. There’s a teenage chick that does the orders a lot of the time and has such an attitude. We always order to go. The wait isn’t very long which is nice because it’s always packed here kids everywhere.

This place is great if you’re not expecting an experience comparable to Syun, or Yuzu, or Bravo Toro. Sure the restaurant’s name has been inferred as ‘misleading’. That said, the prices are very affordable, the food hot, fresh, and delicious…

With a name like Best Teriyaki, you would expect the best teriyaki around, yes? Well, based on my experience, Mediocre Teriyaki would be more fitting a name for this establishment. At 630 this evening, I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki. The chicken had no taste. It was as if the chicken was in their freezer for 10 years and they chopped it out of the ice containment, thawed it out in the microwave and cooked it and dipped it in sauce and served it to me. I couldn’t put enough sriracha on it it give it some taste. Whaat aa horrible experience. And yes, I paid a 20% tip– you have to pay before you get the meal. Had I know the mean was gonna suck I would not have paid a tip– but then the food might have been worse.

If you go for teriyaki chicken, you will not be disappointed. Lunch special is 6.75 including your 1 cup of soft drink(refills are 50 cents. Lame) you get a nicely grilled chopped chicken breast, a nice amount of well cooked white rice, and a small salad with a sweet Asian vinaigrette dressing. Interior is dated, but clean. Service was friendly and fast. Full clean bottles of teriyaki, and sriracha were nice as well. If you stick to the teriyaki chicken, you’ll agree. Only reason they lost a star is the soda refill charge.

Uh, no. Definitely NOT the best teriyaki, not even the best in this little cul-de-sac chock full o’ suburban quick eats. On a recent visit, I decided to go for broke and order the big-arse sushi bento box which wound up having… wait for it… NO sushi in it! Clumps of old, stale rice that was conspicuously crunchy around the scooped edges, and heavily breaded, deep fried vegetables(brocolli, primarily) were the main attractions in this meal. A modest portion of shaved beef(!) strips accompanied the veggies and rice, and the one discernible taste of the marinade of said beef was«Sweet… really, really sweet.» This is someone’s idea of Best Teriyaki?

Its great for what it is! Its not high, class fine dining, its fresh fast and the healthiest alternative to the mcDs and Popeyes and Ihop that are in the same fast food loop there. Its hard for me to find that good balance for teriyaki but they have it down to a science, sweet but tangy. The chicken is always tender and moist, never dried out or over cooked. You can call ahead and they will have it ready or if you walk in expect to wait between 5 – 10 mins for them to cook the chicken. Unless its lunch rush then can take up to 15 mins. Their lunch specials m-f is worth it… full size portion of meat, steamed white rice, a small fountain drink, small salad with their excellent sesame dressing(which you can also buy for $ 5/bottle) and usually a side like an egg roll for between $ 6& $ 7.

It has definitely gone down hill after the management change(if that was possible). My recent visit was probably my last one. My chicken teriyaki bowl was drenched in teriyaki sauce. Not even sure why they had to do this because they provide bottles of the sauce on the counter. My coworker ordered the spicy pork, which was my favorite, but the pork didn’t taste fresh at all. I was willing to overlook their inadequacies before as long as the food was edible. But now, there’s no reason to come back.
