Ok, for those of us who are from New Orleans, we know a real po boy when we see one. There are so many places in Atlanta that claim to have«real» New Orleans food when in fact, it’s frozen seafood, not from the gulf, and not on New Orleans style French bread. My husband and I went in Saturday and was so surprised to find a place that uses Leidenheimer French bread(New Orleans folks know what this is). We had a shrimp and oyster po boy, as well as roast beef. It was the best po boys, we“ve had outside of New Orleans. We will be going back this week! They also have sno-balls year round !

My fiancé and I discovered this restaurant on the way to the airport a few weeks ago and decided to stop in and give it a try. The restaurant offers very traditional po’boys and snowballs as well as breakfast all day. Over the two times that we visited, we’ve tried half/half catfish & shrimp, roast beef, crawfish, and oyster po’boys — each dressed with mayo, hot sauce, pickles, lettuce, and tomato — and we’re super yummy! It was refreshing to find such an authentic New Orleans street food spot with a very personable staff. We will definitely be regulars!
