Firestone Tire & Service Centers

I have visited this place a few times with no real problems. I go here because it is close to my job and convenient. I am given this location 4 stars due to my problem being resolved. I went in to have my rims switched due to the harsh winters in Michigan. I had OEM chrome rims but switched out to my painted rims. They suggested snow tires but I decided against that. They also told me that 2 rims had 2 sensors missing for Tire Pressure warnings and that my sensors would not work without them. I decided to have them replaced. After I left I noticed that the Sensor warning was still displaying. I returned the next day and the manager told me that 2 sensors were not picking up and therefore they would not work properly. I decided Hmmmm, I would have never had them replaced to the tune of $ 79 per tire if I knew they would not work and they should have told me this on the first visit. I proceeded to contact Firestone with my complaint. A District manager called and told me that they would replace the sensors for free. I had the sensors replaced with which the Management was happy to do. Although it was a pain at first, i am happy to receive overall good customer service from Firestone and have the problem corrected. I am therefore given 4 stars because of the problem being resolved in a courteous manner.

Very friendly customer service! I needed to get an oil change on the fly before a trip, so I called and asked if they could squeeze me in, and thankfully they could after I got out of work. I usually pay $ 45 to get my oil changed and they vacuum my car (which I love!). Firestone was close to $ 60 even with a coupon and there was no complimentary services (which is why I can only give 3 stars).
Side note — I left my wallet there on accident, and the guys tried calling me twice to get me to come back, but I was already en route home. Returned the next day and they had put it in the safe and held it for me. Really awesome gesture and much appreciated!
I’d recommend this location if you need something done in a hurry or want to cruise the mall while you wait.

Best customer service and so quick! I came in with a punctured tire a half hour before closing, and they did a full service repair (including installation). Stayed late to finish the job! The best guys in town!

I have been a Briarwood Firestone customer for more than 14 years. Through the years, there have been issues… and all have been resolved. Car repairs are expensive most anywhere you go, but I have always been treated with honesty and courtesy.

Another unhappy customer. Drove in with a GPS and a car charger came back an hour later both were gone. When we asked about it the manager was very rude insulting the condition of the car and us for inquiring. Police report filed — If you need tires or work done on your car go somewhere else.

DON’T GO HERE. They tried to rip me off greatly the one time I went here. I brought my car in after it was continually overheating. After an 3 hour wait to get my car checked they gave their analysis. A two-​page laundry list of repair totalling over $ 2000. Now I don’t know much about cars, but that seemed outrageous to me. So I asked the mechanic which repairs were absolutely necessary and the total rang in at about $ 240. Something about tie rods going on my car.
I decided to get a second opinion and went with the Midas Shop on Washtenaw. After an hour or so wait, I found out all I really needed was a new radiator cap ($ 10 or 15, which was a mark-​up but at that point I was glad it was under $ 100). There were some other repairs they told me I might need to get somewhere down the line, but they weren’t urgent. For a college student worrying about bills they were a life saver.
Like I said just about any other auto repair store in A² would be better. Don’t go here.
P. S. It might be closed. If it is, good! Serves them right.
