It’s a Sunday and I decide on a whim that I absolutely NEED a haircut. I start searching for salons in Ann Arbor. I look at 3,5,8 different salons and they all seem to be closed on Sundays. Then I come across Regis Salon. Woohoo, they’re open! I give them a call to see if I can get a same day appointment. I get an appointment with LaTonya for 2 hours later. All I can say is she was fantastic. I told her about my frustrations with my hair and how brittle and easily it breaks despite minimal processing. She recommended a protein treatment($ 10), which I got a long with a hair cut($ 33). She listened to exactly what I wanted in terms of style and she delivered. I will definitely be returning back!

This place is nothing fancy but, it’s clean and reasonably priced. Most importantly, I LOVE my haircut — done by Stephanie, the Salon Manager. She gave me a great head massage, great cut and great conversation! I have found my new spot.

I cannot rave enough about Ashley Lamping! She has been cutting my hair for a little over a year and I’m so glad that I found her. Most recently, my hair was down to about the middle of my back and I(1) needed a change, and(2) was too hot with all that hair and this humidity! I found a cut that I really loved but it was short… very short! I went in to see Ashley and we talked about what would be the best style for the shape of my face and my comfort level. I was very nervous to make this big of a change. I left with a cut and style that I am absolutely obsessed with! I styled it today for the first time myself and I don’t even miss my hair at all! She cut a little over 8 inches off and I thought for sure it would feel naked without it… so not the case! This salon is clean, has a convenient location and best of all Ashley, a great stylist! The prices are just right too!

I’ve come to this Regis multiple times without issue, however the haircut I received this Saturday is a disaster(for me) and I’m compelled to comment. I came in looking for what I know to be a pretty standard request. I left with something completely different. The cut itself, on someone else’s head is probably ok, but not what I asked for at all. I brought in a picture. I can recognize the difference between a cut and a style. It was pretty darn basic. I implore you, new stylists; if you don’t understand what someone is asking for — ask for clarification I don’t want to go into details or throw the poor girl under the bus. I can only assume that she did her best to give me a textbook style that she was familiar with. Bless her heart. After three months of growing it so it could be cut the way I want, I’m a little shattered… and I’m not that high maintenance. I really can’t go back with that result. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to get it fixed, so it is ponytail land for me until August. Exactly what I was trying to avoid.

I came in as a walk-in on impulse and received a great haircut as well as shampoo and blowout for only $ 33! I would definitely return. Convenient to be able to walk-in, even for services like highlights.

I have been here dozens of times and every time I go, it never disappoints me. I usually request the same stylist(Ashley). She is fantastic! And also very nice. She really knows how to cut hair. Their rates are not bad… it costs $ 29 for a haircut. That includes washing, drying, and styling. I would suggest calling ahead for an appointment, because it can get pretty busy since it is in a mall.
