I’ve been here a few times now and their food makes me sad :( I know flame broiler can be better than this and I so wish their meat and veggie quality would get better. Chicken’s always dry and the veggies always taste over boiled. Also, every time I’ve been here, the service is also so sad. Not mean or bad, just sad. The environment has always been so gloomy.

The food tastes like every other flame broiler! Shocker! Seriously, any franchise food will generally taste the same 99% of the time. Anyone who puts less than 5 stars is an idiot whom expects the best tasting bowl for $ 5. It’s good, healthy, and inexpensive. My rating is mostly for the service – always friendly and quick. Cheers!

Came in for chicken veggie bowl. I haven’t had flame broiler in a long time but I remember it tasting better. My chicken was on the dry side and didn’t taste taste like the meat were precooked and heated up for lunch time. Service and Veggies were good though. Would I come back. Probably not.

I’m a regular here. The service is cast and friendly. I’d come here before another location I’ve been to.

Mmmm one of my fave. This particular Flame Broiler offers very fast service. In and out in less than 10 minutes. I usually go on my lunch time, so it makes it very convenient and efficient that they’re so quick. I can’t compare there food to other Flame Broilers as I only go to this one, but I can say it’s delicious. Always cooked well. Throw in some magic sauce and hot sauce and you’re all set.

Went to pour iced tea and… a bunch of small flies flew out of the nozzle. Told the employees and they went to the back. I thought they were looking for a way to clean, but none of the employees ever did a thing about it. The guy at the register appears to sweat a lot and he used his hand to wipe his sweat friend his face. Then continued taking orders and putting lids on food bowls. Interesting. I went to work and was telling my coworker if she ever eats there and she said«No, they always have flies inside.»

Love it! Flame Broiler is around the corner from work and it is the place I go for food almost every time. The skinless chicken with brown rice and green onions… YUMMO! That magic sauce makes the meal complete.

I literally come here a few times a week. I’m such a regular I don’t even have to say one word, I just walk up hand them my card and they hand me a receipt. Boom done. I always order the chicken bowl combo with a drink, $ 7.83(with tax). Not sure if that’s good or bad, but the food is healthy, pretty inexpensive and always fills you up. Can’t beat that.

I honestly love this place. Something about chicken and brown rice that hits the spot as soon as lunchtime comes. As far as this location it’s fast and friendly, clean and pleasant to visit.

I WOULDLOVETOGIVETHISPLACE5STARS… BUT… Because they aren’t gluten free & I suspect the chicken is marinated in oil, one star is taken away. I love this place! Funny because I went to a few other Broilerz in LA, & the one in Westwood Village killed it for me — the chicken was dry, eh eh eh, not good. Just over cooked I believe, & tasted like methane gas. after all that’s the flame taste, right? This one made me fall in love with this place all over again… for starters it’s literally right @ my doorstep & when I don’t want to eat my chicken I made here(from my meal preps), this place refreshes my taste buds. They also charge $ 2.50 for extra chicken, fair enough. If you’re trying to get your protein in, do ask for extra. I can tell you the extra chicken serving it’s more than 130g total which is a lot! 130 g is one serving for me. So I have extra afterwards. The rice, well they always give you plenty of that stuff, since it’s cheap. Do recommend this place, it’s really trying to be healthy, just skip the sauce & get brown rice, & you’re on your way. FUNFACT: this is a local hang out for all the cops, as the station is right near, off of harbor

I ate here a lot as it is right next to me. Service is not bad, a bit odd crowd. The food is normally very good especially the sauce. I then got food poisoning here… stay away

Flame Broiler offers healthy options making this a healthy choice. Brown rice, extra onions, and low fat beef and/or chicken. I recommend this place.

Half & Half rice bowl is my favorite. You can get chicken and beef on the same bowl. Choice of brown or white rice. Good portions, actually big portion size. The magic sauce is awesome. Tasty, kinda healthy and good price. Look out for bogo coupons in your weekly mailer.

My first flame broiler that I went to! I got a chicken teriyaki on brown rice and with green onions. There didn’t seem to be enough veggies. However I do like the somewhat healthy aspect of it. Parking can be kind of odd. As I went to other locations, I disliked this one because of it’s smaller portions.

Enjoyable for the price. Chicken is dark meat unless want to pay more for white. Magic sauce is what makes it taste good.

Thank goodness my boyfriend recently introduced me to flame broiler. As an avid chicken teriyaki fan/lover, I am appalled that it took me 29 years to find the best chicken teriyaki ever – fast food chicken teriyaki at that! AND they offer a brown rice option – i’m in chicken teriyaki heaven.

This locations sucks, but it’s walking distance from my apartment so what am I supposed to do? Why can’t there be a Yoshinoya nearby? Oh well. Whatever you do, don’t get the white meat chicken upgrade. Depending on what time of day you go, and how long the chicken has been in the warmer, you will probably get some dry cardboard for the $ 0.99 upgrade. Dark meat chicken is better than dry cardboard chicken and cheaper too. Other than that, I will continue eating here twice a year.

Another local spot where I have been several times and am considered a Unilocal«regular.» I like Flame Broiler overall. It is a healthy alternative to so many other options. I like the combo bowl with brown rice. I then smother it with their«magic sauce» and hot sauce. For me, the downside is there are not many options. You can get white or brown rice and chicken or beef. I am a guy who needs variety. A few additional menu options would bring me in more often. I’m just saying…
