I don’t recall seeing salt as its own item on the menu. They cooked up some salt and seasoned it with a little bit of French fries. I still can’t feel my tongue and the corners of my lips feel like I’ve become the joker from batman. Burger was good though! Hope the next person to season the fries doesn’t drop the entire salt shaker in the batch. If that was packaged, it would have read 6,000% daily value of sodium. Pretty sure not even Lots wife could have handled those fries.

An okay hamburger. Not great. Definitely not the best hamburger in America(Consumer Reports August 2014). Malt was great. Fries were just okay. Carmelized onions were sort of a light paste on the bun, not hanging out the edges as in the pictures. The descriptions and pictures led to expectations that the actual product doesn’t measure up to. JCW’s, Burger Supreme, and Culvers have better hamburgers in the same price range. I wouldn’t go again on my own but if a group wanted to go there I would tag along. People we were with had the veggie burger and thought it was great.

First timer to the habit and I liked what I experienced. The special chicken caprese sandwich was yummy. So much flavor. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfect. And the tempura green beans are a new favorite!!! They should have made there sitting area bigger but other than hat it was a great experience! And we will see them again.

This is another location of Habit that I have reviewed before, and as before the burger is excellent, the fries are delicious and the shakes… Oh man the shakes… The shakes are amazing.

I got the mushroom burger. It was a pretty average burger for a pretty average price. Not stellar, but passable. The sweet potato fries are excellent. The onion rings are questionably onion-flavored and cakey, but acceptable. Not something to go out of your way for.

I love the mushroom burger at the habit! Their onion rings are really good too. IMO, the habit is better than five guys.

I want to first that The Habit Grill for reaching out to us after our last experience. We went again tonight giving it another go. It was delicious. They went to from zero to heroes in our home. WAY better tonight that out last visit 2 weeks ago. Different manager and completely different over all mood in the restaurant. Got home with our Charbuurgers with cheese and they were 100 times better. The onion rings are still the best thing they have. Thank you for changing our minds, we will be back.

Nothing like the habit burger in Santa Barbara. Dry burgers, unmelted cheese, thin patties, and meager toppings. Overcooked and unseasoned sweet potato fries. I grew up eating the Habit in CA, and this was unrecognizable.

The sweet potato fries are like a bag Doritos in that once you have one you can’t stop. They have really great flavor and pair with the fry sauce really well. I consider habit a step up from mcdonalds and Wendys, like in-n-out level but a little more expensive. Burgers are less restaurant style and thin for the price which is why i say 3 stars rather than 4, but the grilled onions almost made up for that. Building is immaculately clean and the staff was great!

I pulled up and could smell the freshness instantly, the cashier was very polite and infomative and the atmosphere was clean and unique. My food was ready in minutes and it was PERFECT, the fries were amazing. This is without question my number one choice for a burger anytime.

Hmmm… I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. A friend of mine kept saying they made the best burger ever. I mean it was pretty good. But nothing special. I was a little disappointed. I got the Bacon Char Burger combo. I think one of the things that makes their burger good is the bun. The bun was very soft and very fresh. The burger itself was okay. The meat was pretty tender but not a whole lot of flavor. The BBQ sauce they used wasn’t that tasty. The fries were decent. Overall it was an okay meal. I put everything up against In-N-Out and this burger doesn’t rank above that standard. I am willing to try a few more options. The Santa Barbara Style burger looks nice along with the Tri-Tip sandwich. I may be back. But not for the original burger.

I’ve made 2 visits to The Habit location in American Fork. On both occasions there were a number of house flies in the restaurant. This time I noticed them landing all over the milkshake preparation area. Flies were also buzzing about our table. The burger was good, as usual. The fries were very mediocre. I’m not sure if they were overcooked or if the grease was old, but they were not very tasty. The service has improved since the grand opening and the staff have a better handle on things. I’ll probably visit again, but this visit was very average.

One of the best places for charbroiled burgers and shakes! Something for everyone in our large family. My vegetarian daughter loves their veggie burger. my health conscience son in law says the Tuna sandwich is a must! My meat loving men love the bacon burgers.

Stopped in here the other day for lunch and we received awesome service. Karen was so kind and attentive and took great care of us. She checked up on us, offered to fill our drinks, and get us dipping sauces, and took our trash. She was so sweet and nice with my nieces and nephews. Service like that is what keeps us coming back. The food was delicious as well. We love the Habit!

The Habit is a great place for a burger, fries and a shake(or a malt!). On top of that, they also have some other grilled sandwich options and a number of salads as well. Good variety, great ingredients, and everything is made fresh to order – what’s not to love? This place is definitely worth a stop.
