I stop at this location a few times a month and it’s generally pretty busy in the mornings. Today the line to purchase/order was pretty long and there was only 1 person working the cash register. Bummer!

Baristas are friendly and the seating is ample. Attached to a Barnes and Noble — win.

Not sure about the grouchy people! I found everyone to be quite pleasant and willing to assist. The one thing I can trust Starbucks about is the consistency. Had my black ice tea with a smile.

Management — your crew are tired! Please give them some kind of incentive for working during special days. Came in Jan. 1st and it is CLEAR none of the crew wanted to be there. No smiles, no thank yous, and they didnt even take my name. It was very busy, and I can totally understand what it is like to be in their position, but I still don’t think it is fair for them to put their frustrations to paying customers. I was very cheerful and upbeat with them, but alas, they were just plain annoyed by everything. Now, I did not realize they did not ask for my name at the counter, and did not realize this until after we had been standing to the side waiting for my order. Then, I heard someone yelled«skinny gibberish gibberish blah.» So, I went up and asked what it was. Turns out, it was not my order — but I saw another tall drink sitting next to it, and I asked if this was the skinny chai latte I ordered. Then, the guy annoyingly pointed at the cup sitting there(without my name) and said, «oh, the skinny chai? yeah, right there.» So I promptly took it and just walked away. Hmm…I used to work in customer service as well during the ungodly hours of before and after holidays, and I do wish you all more luck with your careers. But regardless, I do wish that when on the clock, try not to make other people feel bad because you are not having fun. Maybe, just maybe, that annoying customer on the other side had a horrible New Year and that cup of coffee was the only thing he/she thought was going to make it better, and you guys go ahead and treat them as bad as your hangover.(FYI — said hypothetical customer is not me, but — you get the drift) Maybe if I visit again, I will have a better experience. And oh, my chai latte was SPICY! Not that it was a bad thing, but dang dude.

Wow. So many grouchy employee faces here. I order easy latte with low tempeture and got hot one. I am not mad… all good. It’s Christmas. Be happy!

Great location! Right by Barnes and Noble. Music is a bit loud inside, but great outdoor seating. Chris was my cashier, and was very nice.

The cashier was not friendly at all and seemed distracted. He didn’t welcome or greet me just kind of looked at me and waited for me to state what I wanted. The location was pretty busy and clean. My drink is the way I wanted it!

This Starbucks, has the worst customer service of them all, old woman takes orders slower than hell! You could build a fire under her and she would burn up before she realized it! The other old woman can make a drink correct if her life depended on it, all she does is talk to her self! The guy young, is clueless! He needs to pull his pants up on his ass! I can’t stand seeing anyone ass out! The store was a mess! I refuse to go back

Great location– Right by the Barns & Noble. 5 stars. Kind & friendly staffs– The lady who worked at the night shift 3÷2÷15 even delivered the drinks to our table. Rare experience at Starbucks. 5 stars. Worst coffee– I always rate a coffee shop or café with their Americano. Here in this Starbucks location, they put way too much water for Americano tasting like barley tea. 1 star.

Just terrible service. Drinks took a very, very long time. The staff seemed to be more concerned with chatting than with actually serving the customers. Both my friends drink and mine were wrong, but at that point we just didn’t want to wait anymore.

Stood in line for a full minutes. Was first in line and it was more important to stock and talk that wait on a customer. One guy came up ton the cash register, looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. Finally walked out without being served. No one bothered to even acknowledge me. #poorcustomerservice!

Unfortunately, it is really sad to see customer service this low. I ordered salted carmel mocha and waited 10 minutes. I was watching the gentlemen making when i noticed that he did not add the salt. I asked him that he may forgot the salt. He said they are out of salt and the cashier should have told you. These things happen but when i asked for refund they can only give me store credit. This tells you how large establishment doesn’t really care about customer satisfaction. The cashier knew about the salt, the maker tried to sneak it without salt, and at the end they won’t give me a refund. this is really sad…

It gets very busy and it’s very loud & the music is usually loud. There are cushioned seats in the area near the book store entrance but a lot of people gravitate to that area. There is a little espresso bar area with 3 bar stools & regular customers sit and chat there. There is seating along the front of the store along the windows(tables & chairs) and they are usually always occupied. It’s a very busy location.

The hazelnut frapp I had when I recently visited this location again tasted too frozen. The blend wasn’t done well resulting in a somewhat bland frapp. I guess it’s because of the rush in making this because, as always, this place was swamped. I really am going to stop visiting this location because it gets so loud that the barista cannot even hear my order. Plus, Frank, who took my order, seemed somewhat annoyed at me. I could see it all on his face. Not nice nor professional.

I was on my way to the office and couldn’t go to my «regular» Starbucks, so I strayed. I asked Siri to find me a Starbucks nearby and so I came here. I hated the fact that there was no drive-thru and that it’s attached to the bookstore. Sigh… In the mornings the main thing I want is to get my Starbucks fix(seriously, what the heck do they put in that coffee that makes it so addicting) and get to work as fast as possible. The line was not very long and still I waited for quite some time. The staff was super friendly, but they were just moving a bit too slow for my taste at 7:00am. Anyway, I’ll stick with my regular drive-thru Starbucks… as spoiled as I am :)

We know this is the one to go to late night! Always the same smiling faces that we have seen for years. and love that they will give suggestions for tasty beverages! There is usually a line to wait in, but they usually have a sample of something delicious at night waiting to be tasted! This is the *bux at the point and it is next to a movie theater so you will get all sorts of people hanging out, but its a coffee shop… and kids.err.people will be people.

Starbucks are ubiquitous in the North ATL ‘burbs(see also: everywhere?), and you generally get the same experience regardless of which location you choose on any given day. That’s because as a giant corporate entity, SBux has implemented fairly stringent brand standards and a training program to maintain consistency from one store to the next. Still, heaven help me, I have to wonder whether this particular location exists solely as a rehabilitation center for training program flunkies. I’ve come to expect that it’s about a 50⁄50 shot that I will actually leave this Starbucks with the product I ordered on any given day. The staff is very pleasant but they just don’t seem to grasp the fundamentals of good coffee service. For whatever reason they seem to be perpetually running low on blonde roast. Unfortunately that’s the only SBux roast that I find palatable. The staff at this location could run a workshop on how NOT to appease a customer when you’ve just run out of the beverage they ordered. Here are a few of the most frequent responses: 1) Fill half the cup with the last remnants of blonde roast, then«top it off» with Pike Place. 2) Offer to sell the customer pre-packaged«Via» instant blonde roast crystals. 3) Stare blankly at the customer and shrug. Other locations have offered to make a nice«pourover» cup of the roast I ordered — this takes a bit of time and effort, but it’s the correct response. A less desirable(but still acceptable) response would be to offer to brew a fresh pot of coffee while the customer waits. This particular location is right across the street from my office, so I keep returning despite the service issues. Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment? Regardless, I don’t really blame the staff… as I mentioned, they are very pleasant. The issue appears to be with a lapse in training. Hopefully in time, and with enough customer feedback, SBux will rectify the problem.

Like any other Starbucks, but I’ve come here so much that they’ve learned my name and my drink. Always ready w/smiles, it definitely keeps me coming.

It’s as good as most Starbucks, but gets 3 for the children that hang out there and constantly throw trash on the ground and generally cause a ruckus. I mean, really — isn’t there a playground you whippersnappers can go terrorize? Why does it take us geezers to remind you that the trash can is next to you, thereby eliminating the need to throw your trash on the ground. I’m kidding. It’s fine. Play away children. Play away… I’ll just sit here sipping my Chai Quad fat free latte with two pumps of cinnamon dolce, one pump of vanilla, a whisper of madagascar cinnamon and just a dusting of paprika. Starbucks is featuring zero percent financing this week on that drink. Go try one but make it a Venti. The Tall with 4 shots of espresso will make your heart explode. It’s a good people watching facility.
