What a great place for breakfast! The rosti is good, and I had mine with a delicious veal sausage, although you have a choice of chicken, pork or veal. I haven’t tried the eggs royale and eggs benedicte yet, but both dishes look very impressive and I’m looking forward to returning and trying those as well. In terms of the baked goods, it’s not really the best in the area and I’d generally prefer to head over to Cedele for their vast variety of bread. Nevertheless, this is a good spot for breakfast in the neighbourhood, and the chilled out, casual atmosphere is a huge draw as well.

We were hunting for a place to have breakfast and decided on this place after my friend mentioned that he had a positive experience here last time. We found a seat relatively quickly and made our orders. The service was cursory not bad. I ordered the signature rosti set, which came with a big sausage, rosti(of course), a serving of salad and a drink(I chose ice tea. The rosti was quite well done; it was lightly charred with potato, onion and cheese, and I think the rosti here is one of the better ones I’ve tried so far. The salad was ok but I am not a huge fan of greens in the first place so I can’t give an accurate assessment. We rounded off our meal with a chocolate éclair, and we really liked it. The size was big and it was filled with generous amounts of cream. Of course, it was really delicious as well. Overall, this is definitely a great place to have some swiss food and I would highly recommend it.
