Close to the sea and green parc area it’s a nice but loud and less cosy place to have breakfast. You pick your menue from an I pad. You can choose from super savory to super sweet dishes such as pancakes with Bananas. The croissants are fairly small and not french at all but still very delicious. The iced matcha was great and not to sweet.

I’ve never heard of the Saintmarc Café brand; apparently it’s a huge chain in Japan. We discovered this place as we were walking around East Coast Park(which by the way, has a ton of new eateries that need to be Unilocaled!) We were drawn into this outlet because it looked super new, spacious, and it was operating during the first day of Chinese New Year. Looking at their brunch menu, they had a good mix of dessert-like breakfasts and savoury pastas. The matcha pancakes piqued my interest. They were described as 2 pancakes with some red bean sauce and a dark brown sugar syrup. For about $ 10, I wasn’t expecting much but was surprised at how thick the pancakes were. I definitely couldn’t finish them; it’s a dish best shared with someone! It’s also a good choice if you’re looking for something that’s not too sweet. Service still needs a bit of work, unsure if it’s because they’re still training staff. Although our server repeated our order back to us, someone managed to enter one of the dishes incorrectly and we were initially served something we didn’t order. They even suggested that that’s what we marked on our sheet, but we were able to show them that it wasn’t the case. Also, they charge $ 1 for a pitcher of iced or warm water, so this place will not sit well with those who hate charges for water!
