Prelude is located at the rood top of the Boathouse. Drinks are pretty decently priced, considering the location — right in the heart of the business district. Awesome views overlooking the Marina Bay area, with a chic crowd to boot. It attracts a lot of bankers and high flying lawyers, with the occasional lucky tourist who mistakenly wanders into the bar. It’s a perfect place to go to to celebrate someone’s birthday, or a first year anniversary date. I was there on new year’s eve, and had a really good time. Just pray that it doesn’t rain though because there is little shelter to protect you from the elements.

Gorgeous gorgeous views of raffles place, the Singapore river, MBS and the Merlion. Loved the feel of this old heritage buliding, and going up the steep and narrow stairs up unto the rooftop. The food and drinks were nothing to shout about, quite expensive but not surprising considering its location and views. Great place to bring tourist friends, or to relax after work — not too crowded even on a friday night.
