This food store, which claim to have been relocated from People’s Park, sells only two items of varying sizes. The fried carrot cake comes in the traditional white or black variety and their fried kway teow is of the drier kind. Business is brisk and I decided to give it a try — after having passed by it on many occasions to get to my hokkien prawn noodles store.
The carrot cake is of average quality — not too bad but not fantastic either. Same goes for the fried kway teow. However, with prices starting from $ 2.50, it is a good enough standard to settle my carrot cake craving.
