Regulars from Biopolis and Metropolis come here to get their Italian fix. This place is great for weekday lunch with friends. Selections change daily, but you can count on it being Italian/European, and you can count on it being delicious! You can spend as little as $ 6 and get a big slice of focaccia(Italian pizza), or a half-serving of pasta(generous serving enough for a small Singaporean appetite.) If you’re hungry, you can splurge and add meat($ 6-$ 10) with sides(total of $ 10-$ 15). Vegetarians will have at least 2 – 3 selections to choose from like their margherita focaccia, salad, or vegetables. They also have healthy drinks. This is why it’s good for groups — their menu is very flexible, and you can spend as much or as little as you want here. I like their handmade pastas and lasagna. I also like their porchetta(like Chinese roast pork with seasoning), but the meat isn’t the cheapest thing to order. Sometimes I get a focaccia. You can’t go wrong on this menu, everything is yummy. Most diners sit al fresco, although there is an option to sit in the cooking school, where the Milk Bar shares it’s space with. Water is free(yay!), and they no longer charge for take-out(see previous reviews.)
