This place is the place if you’re ever in orchard and need a good burger(or wings). The burgers were juicy and not loaded with sauces and too much seasoning, just the right amount, so one can still taste the beef. And the wings, oh my, the wings were really well marinated and seasoned. Love them. Overall, this place surprised me for a restaurant that has gotten very few write ups, tucked away in the roof of Orchard Central(gotta take the lift up to the 11th floor). I would come back again.

Burger was ok. But no ice water or water!!! Really the only way to get water is to buy a bottle of water. Won’t be back!

This play is ok. Maybe I had high hopes. The burger is bland. I mean real bland even with the toppings inside which did nothing. I had the classic burger. The cheese fries came first actually and it was real nice. I thought well a good indicator but not the case. Also the hot buffalo wings is bad. Maybe it’s more asian style but it was soggy, the skin. They also don’t offer any kind of water. I usually like to have dessert after so I don’t like to sugar up on soda. Positive note, if you are a kid it has a fun feeling as it’s super noisy and active. There was 3 birthdays within 10 minutes so I guess it’s popular for that. Anyone with an American palette will not be impressed with this place.

If you’re around Orchard Rd and looking for a decent burger, head to Orchard Central and go up eleven floors to Burger VS Wings + Bar. It’s a burgers and beer spot that’s trying REALLYHARD to be an American chain restaurant/sports bar. There’s seating both indoors and outdoors on a covered patio area. And just as the name suggests + there is a bar. Service was quick and friendly. The décor has a masculine//boxing/food fight theme which is meant to appeal to the Man/Child in us all. Fries are not included with the burger and offered at an additional charge. There’s a salad/sides/token dessert bar that I believe was included in the price of the burger. The Good: The Burgers and Fries are delicious. The Bad: The Thai wings were decent, but I don’t think I would order them again. The décor and theming is meh. The Verdict: A worthy contender in Singapore’s epic Burger War(if there were such a thing) Note to Burger VS Wings: The first rule of good signage design is to not misspell the name

Coming from the states, I will never get used to paying $ 20 for a burger. And, oh by the way it doesn’t even come with fries. Doh! Nevertheless, B.W.B delivers some wickedly good, But Out Of the Ordinary Burgers. My favorite was the Tyson peanut butter burger. A creamy peanut butter sauce layered on top of the beef patty combined with a sun dried tomato brioche. Peanut Butter, You may ask??? Yes, surprisingly it works really well. It’s a little different than the peanut butter you normally have with your PB& J. It’s creamier, less brown and let’s just say looks a little more classy: D I also tried the classic BWB Classic Heavy weight burger. It’s good, but definitely not heavy weight as the name says it to be. It’s good, but a little«normal» for my liking. I hear the Wings are pretty good as well, but I can’t say I’ve tried them. BWB is a hip and happening place despite the restaurant being located on the top floor of Orchard Central. Background music is top 40 and the crowd is generally in the twenty to thirty something range. Overall, a classic American burger/wing joint. A little on the pricey side in terms of food, but the restaurant makes up for it in the coolness factor.

Don’t get me wrong– this place does have good burgers. Unfortunately the service and ambiance were a bit of a miss. If you come here, you should definitely try the Tyson peanut butter burger. I’ve never seen or heard of anyone putting peanut butter on a burger, so seeing it on the menu excited me greatly. It tastes exactly as you think it would, but when combined with the juices of the burger, it takes the flavour to another level! Too bad the burgers cost between $ 15 – 22 and doesn’t even include fries!* In terms of service, I asked for ice water, and the server said they only serve warm. So I ordered warm and then she said, «No, there is no free water, only mineral water.» Strange. Miguel ordered a different burger than I did, and when our food was served, our server had absolutely no clue which was which. I have never seen anyone so flustered on the job… I felt a bit bad for her. I was also surprised about the music they were playing. I’m amazed that considering the amount of censorship that goes on in Singapore, F&B and retail establishments can get away with playing music with expletives in them**. And I’m talking repeated use of F bombs. I noticed they were playing the uncensored version of Enrique Iglesias’ «Tonight I’m Lovin’ You». Yes, that’s right– they were blasting«Tonight I’m F***in’ You». And children were in the restaurant, too! So yeah, lots of weird stuff going on here… but if you can overlook it and just enjoy the burgers, then you’ll be fine. – *This should seriously be considered a sin. **I’ve experienced this in Forever 21 at 313@Somerset, too. They were blasting Lil’ Jon’s «What You Gon’ Do», F bombs, N words, and sh*t uncensored. And they played the song in it’s entirety!

The burger was up to expectations. Tasty and quite large(a little over $ 20). I also had plain deep fried wings with Thai sauce and mustard.(6 wings for about $ 18). The wings were below my expectations. The main issue is that there was hardly any meat at all on the wings. It was almost all chicken skin and deep fried batter. I am used to much more meaty chicken wings(in the US). Stella beer on draft until 7pm every day for $ 5.50, a good bargain.

Given this place a couple of tries and service is not great. At first I was impressed with the concept of wings and burgers plus the nice patio view from the 11th floor, but got majorly disappointed with the service. After flagging him down and asking for suggestions that he clearly did not want to give or maybe he didn’t know the menu, started to have doubts about this restaurant. Ordered a mojito that was decent but it took about 15 minutes to make it. I never mind waiting for a freshly squeezed beverage but it was just meh. Wings are yummy. Not your typical Hooters style wings, spicy with cinnamon and other Asian flavors. No blue cheese or ranch dressing either, honey mustard is served with them and it does complement the wings quite nicely! The hubs loved his peanut butter, Thai style burger but my trio of burgers was just average. Food comes as it is made and we got everything staggered, good because everything is hot and fresh but my dish seemed to take forever. Prices are reasonable but I probably won’t be back anytime soon.
