Another satisfactory lunch at Fatburger. As usual, the experience was pleasant, the service prompt and the food was both filling and good. The issue that I have is, at this price point, I expect something more. I want to be wowed by something to justify the cost of the meal– great service, an exceptional burger, ambience that stuns you. Still, a good place for lunch but not on the list of must go to places for me.

I love Fattyburger and I come here often. I always make sure to get my Big Fat Club Card stamped– buy 7 fattyburgers and get one free! Whew! Fattyburger has no problem lettuce wrapping my burger– I even get a knife and fork! I can also get free additional toppings like banana peppers and deli pickles. The Hawaiian burger is okay.. .it has pineapple and bacon.. .but I really love the California burger that has bacon, guacamole and some kind of cheese. I have now taken a break from the California burger and I have tried the Bacon Lovers burger and it is soooo good. I don’t know why love Fattyburger so much!(^_^)

Too salty. Average toppings. They should learn from five guys. OK… it is not Wendy’s or McDonalds or Harveys… However it is not what they boast being. It is not a Great fast food joint. Just average… or below.

I went here for lunch today. Thank God I didn’t have much to do in afternoon, can you say food coma! I had the New Yorker burger, the larger size with bacon. This feature includes a very healthy dose of pastrami meat. Not a big fan of pastrami! The food came out pretty quick, as I think we missed the lunch rush. So not a fan of «American cheese»! Imagine cheese quiz, just a little thicker. If you go with a friend, I suggest sharing a side, cuz you get a lot of burger, which fell apart as I ate it, too much mayo. All in all, it’s fast food, but better than mcd. If you go during lunch you better get a quad espresso from a near by coffee shop, cuz your toast if you don’t.

Went to the South Edmonton Common Fat Burger on Saturday May 2, 2015 and could not have been less impressed with the Restaurant. We received our Milkshakes 5 minutes after our food had arrived the Restaurant was so cold that literally everyone in the restaurant was wearing their coats. Tables stayed dirty for the whole time we were in there without being cleared — even though staff continually walked by the tables. Music was so loud I could barely hear my wife talking. The TVs in the restaurant have such bad«snow» they are almost unwatchable. We tipped the cashier when paying for food and from my prior visits to Fat Burger I know they are supposed to thank you for tipping — that did not happen. Like I said — couldn’t have been less impressed. Buffalo Chicken Tenders were great, the Milkshakes were great, burgers tasted extremely salty. Won’t be going back to this location ever. Five Guys is continuing to gain my business.

Best milkshakes in town. But for a place known for their burgers, the burgers are bland… I know, I know, they are pure beef, nothing added, healthier, ect. Still bland!

Very good old fashioned burgers. Love the fact they do not use any filler and are gluten free, when lettuce wrapped. I only wish their fries were gluten free but that’s the trade off. Always had good friendly service, we visit this location about 2 – 3 x a month.

Went to Fatburger today. I admit, I’ve been to Fatburger on a handful of prior occasions. On my last one, however, I was trying to use my groupon that I had bought. The female at the cash was so rude, though. She was like«give me your phone» or «you didn’t turn your wifi on» and just had a stuck-up tone the whole time. On top of that, we upgraded the burgers: on one burger, we got 1 extra patty, and the other burger, we got bacon, and some bacon marmalade(to resemble their new bacon burger, which ended up being too sweet and gross). We also got a small drink. This costed us $ 9 extra! The food was quite good, apart from the gross sweet marmalade that they put on their burger. The patties were big and juicy and their ingredients were fresh — exactly what I look for in a burger. Personally, I like the taste of classic burgers with a good hunk of meat and lots of veges, and fatburger is the place to go. It is a bit pricey for burgers, but definitely better than mcds will ever provide.

The quality of the meat in the patties is a step or two above the fast food chains. The toppings are pretty fresh and plentiful. The prices are a little steep for what you get. For a cheeseburger, fries and milkshake is going to cost you over 15.00 and closer to 20.00 if you have add ons like bacon and/or guacamole. The staff do make a good effort in being polite with the niceties like coming to your table to see if you are happy with your meal and correcting it if there is something wrong. They always say goodbye as you are leaving which is more than you will get at most burger joints. I always get a chuckle when I give a tip and the waitress announces«Fat Tip» and the kitchen says«thank you» in unison even when its a skinny tip.

Nicest staff and best fast food customer service in the city. Period. Always impressed with their courtesy, kindness, efficiency and cheerfulness. The food is satisfying comfort food and the shakes are the second best chain-restaurant milkshakes I’ve ever had. Try the salted caramel milkshake, it’s perfect… and the traditional turkey burger. I get cravings for it.

It’s edible, but I honestly don’t know what the big hype is all about. It’s crazy expensive and bland. You can go and sit down at Hudson’s and get an amazing burger for less than Fatburger. I just don’t get it.

I went here because I bought a groupon that got me 2 meals for the price of $ 15. We weren’t allowed to get any special burger but just their ordinary classic one. I liked the décor, as it was like a retro diner, very cute. However as I sat down to bite into my burger, it was bland and tasteless. I am glad I never went here without that groupon. I can not imagine paying $ 30+ for 2 meals/2 people. This is completely absurd. The burgers were big, but there was nothing that was so amazing about the flavour — and burgers are one of my favourite foods! Nothing was great about the food and nothing smacked me in the face like«THISFOOD, PLACEANDEXPERIENCEISWORTHTHE $$!!» Nope, my bf and I vowed never to come here again. We will stick with our DQ(in the hamptons only lol). I swear people only continue to come here because they like to think a $ 15 burger must be the best. Not from here!

Good burgers, but a little over-priced for what you get. Fatburger is definitely a large step above the drive thru fast food joints(McDonald’s etc). The burgers are large, really fresh tasting, with real identifiable toppings. The fries and onion rings are ok, but nothing great. They do have amazingly great milkshakes though. The 50’s diner décor is cool, and I like that the service is a mixture of fast food and sit down. My complaint with Fatburger is the price. I am definitely up for paying more for quality, but for the amount a burger, fries, and drink end up coming to at Fatburger — it seems like you might as well go to a full sit-down restaurant. If they priced things in between McDonald’s and a place like Earls, then I would definitely like this place a lot better.

10PM on a Saturday night and we needed some greasy eats. I was in the mood for pasta but Michael J wouldn’t negotiate, so we found the nearest burger place still open that wasn’t super gross fast food. Fatburger is fast food, but it’s fresher and grilled to perfection. So the sign says, at least. I do like the décor, kind of old diner style. The food was alright. Definitely a better choice than the nearest McDonald’s, but it didn’t blow me away. My chicken sandwich was fully cooked and the lettuce wasn’t that gross chopped up fake kind you find at Subway, but the flavour was just lacking overall. I appreciated the friendly staff, especially since it was kind of late on a Friday night — I’m sure they wanted to close soon. Extra points for being licensed!

After come here a lot, and seeing what the hype was about. It’s just hamburgers. The couple of things i do like about Fatburger is that their burgers are cooked fresh, not greased like Mcdonalds. The burgers are big and they top it off with a generous amount of condiments. I was pretty hungry when i came to eat here, so i ordered the kingburger and got their chili cheese fries. The burger was fresh and juicy just the way they should be at restaurants, and the burger alone made me full. Now the chili cheese fries looked good, but they were salty, like it made me soo thirsty that i had to refill my drink 3 times just to finish them. Fatbuger isnt a place i would go out of way to come to, but once in a while the burgers are worth it. It’s pretty pricey here and it gets extremely crowded during lunch and dinner hours which makes it hard to get a seat.

Having visited a couple of the other much loved made-to-order burger joints recently enough for a real comparison, I continue to be impressed. The meat is generous, the bun good and there are enough toppings options to keep most people happy. The burger is certainly worth the money. It may not be worth driving down to South Edmonton Common(the most poorly designed power centre in Canada) . Fries are thick cut and are somehow nothing special. Service can get a little slow on a busy day. It can be hard to find a place to sit. But it comes down to the burgers and they are a solid A.

This place is highly overrated. I don’t find these burgers to be all that fantastic at least not for the amount of people that were waiting in line and the overflowing tables. It was so busy that we had to hover over tables to get one. And that phenomenon isn’t new. I’ve done Fatburger before and it was the same way. I didn’t get it then and I don’t get it now. It’s not a fantastic burger for the price. Unilocal 30 Day Challenge: 15⁄30

I really don’t where all the hype is coming from for FATBURGER we came in here tonight to find out? And really where is the FATBURGER!!! I find this place exceptionally expensive for a burger and onion rings or fries whatever you prefer. I like the theme, the 50’s diner type. But –But– Where’s The BEEEEEFFFFFFF. You Know, from now on I’ll stick to what I like and I’m not going to listen to all the hype. I’m Stick en to HARVEY’s they really do know how to make a hamburger a BEAUTIFULTHING :)

Like the diner vibe but felt it was a little over priced for a burger joint. That being said it’s nice getting a fast food burger and having it come out with lots of toppings and a fluffy bun. I had the veggie burger with fries last time, it was great but the taste of the veggie burger was overpowered by the pickles. I also don’t like that they don’t have ketchup on the table. Overall it was okay, likely not the best veggie burger in town. I also noticed a sign for beer and margaritas… I will probably come back again as it’s a step up from the regular fast food joint.
