A trip to Canmore is not complete without a stop at the Bagel Co. My husband and I were chatting about what a thriving spot this is. It’s homey, comfortable, and the food is fresh and delicious. Love it here.

This place had way more going on than I expected for a bagel place. I got a veggie pizza bagel here, and it was pretty tasty, and like a little mini pizza made on a bagel, which was pretty cool. My husband got some chili which was also quite good, and we shared an iced coconut latte which was fantastic. The staff were really helpful & friendly, and although the prices were a tad on the high side, I think it’s a worthwhile place to stop if you’re looking for a bite in Canmore :)

I love it! So much variety & so cosy inside. Whenever I go to Canmore I always make sure to stop by the bagel co. It is a little but pricey but totally worth it!

Amazing London fogs. Bagel garden is my recommendation it is amazing, the smoked turkey is also yummy! This is a great place to eat lunch or breakfast! Always busy and expensive! So I only gave it a 4 but the food is yummy and crave it!

I was there this morning because I heard good things about it. I figured that since it is called a «bagel company» the bagels should be top notch! To my dismay, the bagels were only ok and definitely not worth its price. The first table we sat at was swarmed with flying insects which really added to the unappetizing experience. I heard that the muffins were decent though, ironically.

Stopped for some coffee and bagels to go. Pleasant atmosphere and nice staff. Picked up to bring back to the condo since it was our first morning and we had nothing to make. Bagels were pretty good and coffee was strong enough. Only knock was they shorted me one cream cheese to go. Will be back I am sure. Back there today. Couple of coffees and water for the drive to Jasper.

I realize I gave the other location a truckload more stars than the Main Street location. This weekend I went to the Main Street location for the first time. It was ten minutes to 6pm when we walked in. There was a family in front of us in line, and we waited quite a while before being served. By the time we went up to order, the attendant at the counter told us that it was after 6, and they weren’t serving bagels anymore. I was just curious why she would have let us stand there for ten minutes waiting — especially since we really did arrive before 6 — just to tell us there’s no food. Not that I had anywhere better to be, but it would have been considerate.

I have stopped here 3 times now, usually on the way out of the mountains, this time we managed to score an outdoor table(wrought iron = horrible idea for furniture that is to be used as furniture and not purely as decoration. I get it, plastic can fly away, but wrought iron? Really? Really.) I have had 2 bagel sandwiches, 1 lovely bagel with cream cheese, multiple baked goods, a cinny bun and 3 lattes(between my 3 visits, that isn’t carb overkill is it? Nah). The lattes are always good, nice and frothy, boyf says that the coffee is «just ok» but the fresh baked bagels and the variety of cream cheese is what keeps me coming back. Show up in your johnjohns, parka or teva’s, grab a free paper and prepare to watch the neverending line of customers drool over the baked good display case. Every little town needs a bakery as good as this one, even quasi-«rustic» towns like Canmore! I will be back for the cream cheese, but evacuate your bladder before you go, there are only 2 washrooms(both multisex) and the lines for them are always loooong. It helps that they stock the dispensers with Rocky Mountain Soap Company’s Cranberry hand wash though! I can’t stop smelling my mitts when I walk outta there! $ 25 for 2 bagel sandwiches, 1 latte and 1 coffee(eek). Free water dispenser and excellent service. All in, three cheers!

I really like this little bagel shop in down town Canmore. They serve really great breakfast sandwiches that keep you full for hours. I always make a trip here to get a bagel when I am in Canmore and more often than not I end up getting the vanilla nut latte which is like a warm hug on a cold day, although I’m usually not in Canmore when it’s cold. My only issue with this place is how slow they are. It feels like it takes forever to order my bagel, let alone get it. But, maybe I’m just hungry. Regardless, I think they are under staffed which is ultimately leading to my bagel taking a long time to be prepared. It is just a bagel… I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the neighbourhood!

Great bagels with a decent selection to choose from. I enjoyed the Parmozza bagel with a very generous portion of Garlic Herb cream cheese. The bagels are light and large and if you like them toasted they do not dry out. The cream cheese selection could be broadened a little more as there are only 5 options(none are«light» versions for those watching their weight). But the ones available are tasty. This location is large with plenty of seating and a cute outdoor patio. Friendly staff round out the experience for a nice breakfast spot.

The Bagels are decent — not on par with the best of Montréal or New York, but airy, tasty, and well salted. Rocky Mountain Bagel has two locations, one on the Bow Valley Trail, which is parallel to the highway, and this one, on Main Street in Canmore. Apparently, they have a Maple bagel which sells out early in the morning and I was not able to try. Rocky Mountain Bagel also serves a delicious salted caramel latte. The atmosphere inside is the typical laid back coffee house sort of feel. You could chill here for a few hours if you wanted to. This location is open until 6PM, whereas the other location on Bow Valley Trail is only open until 4PM.
