What a delicious meal! The menu is so creative and full of fresh options. I had soup(potato, parsnip, Apple soup — yum) and salad(goat cheese and fig). 2 others in our group had interesting flavored pizzas that were cooked perfectly in the pizza oven. We also shared a delicious dessert pizza with chocolate and fruit. They have a great kids play area and nice kids menu, too. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere, but the pizzas were just average. The pizza choices were good, and the pizza special was good, but our other pizza was dry and overcooked. Considering that they are a pizza restaurant, they should be able to serve consistently good pizza.

We spent a week in Canmore and loved the pizza here. I tried the gluten free, it was excellent. My husband had the special of the night, also excellent. They have a good beer selection to go along with the pizza. Nice casual setting and friendly service.

This is our second trip to RMFC. After a gruelling race at the Canmore Nordic Centre and a bit of a chill in the air their soup of the day — potato/cauliflower with signature flatbread was a remarkable starter. We finished with gelato(Fiasco’s — Thanks James Boetchner) paired with a delicious liqueur. We have sat at the bar near their huge oven both occasions and the service stellar. Kelly and his team offer fun, fast service and delicious original menu options. We will be back.

Place is an absolute delight. Drive a couple Grizzly Paw beers into ya and enjoy some of the best pizza You ever tasted. Don’t bother with Panago or any of those fast food chain pizza joints. Get something you will enjoy for a really reasonably price.

My family LOVES this place. We go here every time we come to Canmore because it is amazing. We went on A Friday right at noon and it was fairly quiet and we got a seat right away next to the wood burning fire. It was so cool! We watched them make tons of pizzas i. The oven as we waited for ours. We ordered a Shirley temple, hot tea and two make your won pizzas. Everything was amazing and we would have just kept eating the pizza if you had given it to us :-). Then menus are great with a big variety with meats, salads, pizza & pastas. There was a great kids menu(with pasta refills) if you have any little ones. There was also make your own pizza’s if none on the menu intrigued you or your picky like me and just want cheese or pepporoni! LOL. The desserts looked very good but we were too stuffed. Servers were great with very positive attitudes. You can tell that they support local businesses because they have Rocky Mountain Soap Co. soap in the washroom. They have a great atmosphere that is great for kids and adults, it has a very homey vibe like a log cabin and it does have a play station thing for kids. It is located just down from main street and is very walkable from there. There are plenty of walking trails and shops around there as well. We love this place and encourage you to go there.

Very solid place, good flatbreads, salads, and local beer on tap. We’ve eaten in 4 – 5 places in town and this has been the best(though still not incredible).

Rocky Mountain Flat bread is certainly a Canmore staple. The food is simple, fresh and healthy. We actually always order for pick up, but it would definitely be worthwhile to come back and enjoy a meal at the establishment. It’s adorable! A solid 4 stars for the food, but over all five for the awesome staff who when above and beyond to mail back my husbands wallet And credit cards back to the USA that we left behind. Like, serous lot were sending you a giant virtual thank hug for your willingness to help us out! Cheers to good eats and good people.

When I went: Feb. 26, 2016 Party for: 2 What we ordered: Large half Bow Valley BBQ Chicken half Genoa Salami and Maple Bacon Mac & Cheese. Very tasty! Their pizza is fire-roasted and full of flavour. Same with the Mac & Cheese — it really tastes like the cheese sauce is house-made. Definitely worth going to!

I’ve been here twice now, and I love this place. The food is great, the location is easy to get to from HWY1 and the staff is super friendly. I love getting to sit by the open pizza oven, I’m usually coming back from skiing and am frozen. Great place to thaw out I’ve had several of the flatbreads, pasta, soup,(we are big sharers) and everything has been awesome, sometimes an unexpected combo that is surprisingly good! Oh an do try the Crème Brûlée!

Food is okay. If you’re cold, this is a great place to warm up with the wood fire. They charge 3 for dipping sauce, which is ridiculous!

Very good pizza! They get a plus for having Pepsi products! A minus for not having Pineapple as a ingredient!(Instead of Pineapple, they have Mangos as a ingredient, different and interesting but…) The pizza they use a wood fire oven, and I thought my pizza was perfectly cooked, not to crispy like I have had experience eating at MOD pizza, and not to soft so overall, it was perfectly cooked, they have Pepsi products and decent selection of tap beer. I think overall, I would recommend this place.

This place is excellent! My husband and I split a goat cheese and fig salad(best ever!), a medium pizza with prosciutto and mango(good), and a apple crumble with vanilla ice cream(not too sweet-just perfect). It was a 30 minute wait on a rainy Saturday night, but well worth it, the food was so good! Atmosphere was lively, staff was friendly, and prices were reasonable. Love it! If I were local I would be here every week!!!

Really great family restaurant away from mega-touristy Banff. Came here with my boyfriend and really loved the vibe of this place. The fig and goat cheese salad was superb, as well as the apple chicken pizza. The staff was really friendly and all the prices were reasonable(5 – 7 $ apps, 15 – 18 $ pizza/pasta)

I’m traveling on vacation with my boyfriend’s family, who are extremely cognizant of my dietary needs. When I’m traveling, I often look for restaurants I want to try and this was on my list! Their gluten free pizza ended up being some of the best I’ve ever had — probably in the top 2! I had the farmers market on a gluten free crust, no mozzarella. It had delicious & fresh, seasonal vegetables, awesome goat cheese and pesto. My gluten-eating boyfriend tried some and said it was the best food he’s eaten on our trip. Service was fairly quick and lovely. I would eat here again in a heartbeat. I wish we had this restaurant back east!

i’m sorry but i cannot understand what the fuss with this place is about. the highlights were the homemade lemonade and the tea we had. the pizzas were simply awful. putting some toppings on a cracker doesn’t make it a pizza. this is what the pizza there was like. my dough was so thin and i like thin, i’m not a deep dish pizza person, but this was resembled a cracker or a dry old pita bread with topping. the toppings itself were ok. but the pizzas are heavily overpriced as well and they just do not fill you up. we were both hungry when we left. the service was attentive and nice.

We tried this place for lunch after we did a caving tour at Rat’s Nest Cave in Canmore. Our caving tour guide recommended this place to us and he did not disappoint! This place is very hip and has lots of trendy pizzas with things like arugula, goat cheese, etc. as toppings. I had one of their flatbread pizzas and though it was really delicious. I must have been extra hungry after my caving tour bc I ate one whole pizza myself! I also thought it was cool how they had garage door type things on all their walls which slid open, converting the whole restaurant to a sort of outdoor/indoor space. The extra ventilation was also appreciated since the pizza oven was making quite a bit of heat and smoke. Another plus is free wifi :)

We enjoyed our pizzas the first time we ate here, so much so we came back. We arrived around 6:30 on a Monday night and ended up waiting at least an hour. After a day in the mountains, we were hungry. Thankfully my teenager was able to order a cup of soup and my spouse a beer at the bar while we waited. My teenager ordered the chicken calzone. It came with a choice of sauces and ordered the roasted red pepper. It was tasty. We ordered the large chicken Apple pizza(about $ 27) to share. It was a disappointment. The toppings were skimpy and the flavors mushed together. It not enough food to feed two people unless they had an appetizer or salad. We did enjoy the dessert pizza again. Our server this night wasn’t as good as the previous time. Unfortunately this experience wasn’t as good as the first.

Thanks to Unilocal — We had a great dinner while staying in Canmore! There was a wait to get seated at a table, but seating was immediately available at the bar. Since we were really hungry that night, we got seated at the bar and ordered a red sangria to start with. For the main course, our choice was a BBQ chicken pizza and fettuccine pasta. They know their craft with respect to preparing flat bread pizzas. The crust was thin and crispy and the pizza turned out to be great. I was very impressed with the fettuccine pasta as well. Unlike the US where fettuccine pasta is usually topped with heavy cream and butter, the one here is on the lighter side with rosemary, honey and olive oil. Very tasty! Overall, a wonderful dining experience and I highly recommend when you are in Canmore.
