Went in for a skin consultation and was lured to buy an Image Vitamin C crème for my sensitive skin condition around my nose. It has never been worse in my life since using this crème — it’s red, flaky and peeling. And it was $ 100+ for the tub. Body Wisdom didnt want to know about it — aweful customer service. I wouldn’t trust what their ‘skin consultants’ have to say about your skin, it seems they just want to on-​sell products!

This place is my absolute go to for all things skin!!! I am a regular spray tan client and I love the sun escape product they use!!! The girls are all great tanners but Amy, Laura or Tara are the best. They also have image skin care products which are the best I have ever used!!! You can also buy proplenish which I absolutely swear by!!! Do yourself a favour and book in with these girls !!!

I got a pedicure voucher for my birthday and I finally used it last week.
The lady who carried out the pedicure had a great day-​spa manner (that’s a thing right?). The pedicure was good, though they didn’t have any shellac nail polishes which I would have preferred.
The interior has a relaxing vibe to it, with candlelight and calming music being played, but it didn’t have a major luxury vibe to it.
I was pretty shocked when I went to pay and they asked me for $ 85 for the pedicure — wow I would never pay that myself for a pedicure, but obviously had the voucher.
I kind of felt they could really up the level of opulence in the experience, you know, offer me a herbal tea before or after or just something to warrant the expensive $ 85 pedicure price tag.

Pure pamper perfection. I just love coming here, they treat you like a princess and its nice to have total time out from your busy life and just get lead from one spot to the next to give you total relaxation.
The last time I came here, I remember looking forward to it all week. Whenever one of the kids puked on me I thought, Ohhh only 3 more days until I’m lying there at Body Wisdom, when the husband knocked over the spice rack, I would think only 2 more days to pamper time, when the dog knocked over the baby as he was trying to get into sitting I would think– tomorrow it will all be fine, when I am relaxing whilst I receive my pedicure.
Every Mum deserves to be pampered, because we are worth it.

Oh to spend a whole day here getting skin care treatments, facials, general spa type activities. The treatment you get here from the moment you walk in the door until you leave is second to none. I usually hate getting pedicures because my feet are so tickly I always feel like I am going to kick the beautician in the face. Here I feel relaxed and actually enjoy the few minutes it takes.
Some of the treatments are quite pricey so its definitely a bonus if someone gets you a voucher. If you are looking for a treat though and willing to spend the money it is a nice day out or even couple of hours.

This place harbours every women’s dream weekend activity! The team at body wisdom will pamper you till they can pamper no more. Oh, I just realised that was quite a sexist comment, and in fact I’m sure there are plenty of men who also enjoy day spas. This is for both sexes!
Located only 10 minutes away from the city in Mt Hawthorn, Body Wisdom is a private day spa with a difference. I do enjoy regular facials and have a facialist that I go to regularly, but I was given a special treatment here as a birthday present by no one other than my father. I’m not 100% sure what I had done because it was all pre-​arranged (I just had to turn up on the day), but it did have something to do with putting oxygen into my skin (?). Whatever it was, it felt amazing and I saw a visible and almost immediate improvement. As it was a gift I wasn’t required to pay, but I would imagine it to have been very pricey judging by the high level of service provided and the array of products that were used on me. Lovely place.
