The owner Tessa has crafted a beautiful light-​filled space that has your every party decoration need. Imagine rose gold pom pom festooning, hand cut confetti, vintage wall hangings, hand illustrated cards and invitations, and all the twine, ribbon and paper goods your heart could desire.
Tasked with decorating both of my parent’s milestone birthday parties — I had a handmade piece from cut up old music sheets made for my dad’s 60^th birthday party, and also a copper/​white/​gold bunting number and peach flower balls for my graceful mother’s 50^th birthday soirée.
So proud of my efforts, I bought myself a black marble chopping board too!

We had our wedding invites made by the lovely staff at Paper Fusion and we loved them. We had some Etsy invites made up that we asked them to print, and they turned out looking pretty crappy. The ladies called us and said they didn’t think we’d be happy with them and wanted us to check them before they printed all of them — we went in, they were right, we didn’t like them (pixellated). So glad we got them checked and they gave us the option of checking them!
We ended up looking through their book of invites (there are so many gorgeous designs) and we picked out the one we liked. They knew we were in a bit of a rush since we needed to start over with the invite process so they had the proofs done in a week (they normally take a bit longer than that) and they were printed within a few days. We picked out the envelopes from them too so our invtes were all sorted.
They called us as soon as they were done and we were so happy with them. The quality of the paper was thick and smooth, and the printing looked great. They have loads of different kinds of paper you can choose from as well as looooads of other paper products (lanterns, plates, straws, bags, stickers) which are totally pinterest worthy!
Very happy with the service and product these guys offered and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Can’t believe I’ve never been inside this shop before. It’s like Lala Design in Leederville — It’s a party planner’s dream! All kinds of pretty bits and bobs for events. Laterns, invites, thank you cards, confetti, wrapping paper, paper plates and cups galore. They also create bespoke invitations for weddings, engagements and all other occasions.
A great place to go if you’re throwing a hen’s party or baby shower, so many cute little party favours. I had my eye on a deco style design gold and peach colour plate and cup set.
I will be back!

If you’re going to go niche, go all the way with your theme. That’s what I love about Paper Boutique. They haven’t even gone with a pretentious, fluffy name; instead telling it like it is: a ‘Paper Boutique’.
All of your papyrus needs are catered to here. What’s that? Think you don’t have many? Then consider this: you probably use paper every day, to print important documents on for hardcopy posterity, to write notes to family members, to wrap gifts for friends, to write greetings on, and occasionally to write letters old-​school style for when Facebook is giving you the techno-​shits.
So, this store has all those areas covered and more, respectively: printing paper of interesting textures, notepads of the most beautiful designs, gorgeous gift wrapping paper, an array of artisan greeting cards with ribbons, bows and trinkets to accessorise, and stationary aplenty. Heck, they even have paper lanterns for sale, taking care of the party decoration department.
Thinking paper, then think Paper Boutique.
And I think this place is so cute, I don’t even mind sounding like an ad for it.

I had no intention to shop for paper today. I was walking down Scarborough Beach Rd on my way to lunch, but the pretty paper lanterns in the window caught my eye. I wandered in and couldn’t work out why this place looked familiar. Then I remembered, this gorgeous little shop used to be in Wembley, with a nearly identical layout and décor.
They have heaps of fancy papers, paper party decorations and small notepads and such. They also have little shiny pieces to make cards and invitations. And if you are trying to decorate a nursery they have adorable scenes from nursery rhymes made from their beautiful paper. The owner is also lovely and happy to chat or help you find the right pretty paper for you.

Who would think paper could be this fun and this creative? Paper Boutique sure knows how to attract customers, with its aesthetically sublime layout it is hard not to go in and look around. I was immediately drawn in by its many hanging light bulbs and gorgeous window decorations.
Paper Boutique sells everything from hand made cards, wedding invitations, home decorations to the most stunning textured paper. I usually come here and buy stacks of textured paper to make cards, places like this encourage creativity and make you feel shameful to send e-​cards! So if you are crafty or simply looking for some unique decoration, Paper Boutique is the place to go to.

I’ve seen stores akin to this in places like Florence and Paris but in those older quarters, the stationery always looks too dirty to write on and send to that special someone. Here at Paper Fusion, colour and cleanliness abound!
Besides a brilliant array of notepads and wrapping papers, there are also tools for you to use and make your own gift packaging — including decals and trinkets — so as to make it look way better than the traditional bow and naff little satin flower.
I’ve always thought gift-​giving should be an event, and this place helps make it one. I also think we’ll start to see a revolt against the laziness of digital social networking and that people will being to appreciate again a good hand-​written card or letter. And this is the place to get your stationery from.

One thing I’d say is that they could branch out a little bit, but that comes from someone who doesn’t get too excited over specialty paper…

If there’s one thing in this world that I love, it’s pretty paper. I am a total greetings card making geek, and for me, this shop is heaven. Never before have so many beautiful papers been gathered in one place! There are stacks upon stacks of them, and they are all totally gorgeous. There are also lots of lovely little card-​making bits and bobs, like pretty sequinny things you can stick on and those tiny clothes pegs which are just so cute. And if you don’t want to make your own cards and stationery, there is plenty of ready-​made stuff here too, and it’s all gorgeous. I believe they also make personalised stationery to order as well, so if you’re after something special for a wedding or other occasion, this would be a good place to check out. In short, this is a stationery lover’s dream.
