The previous reviewer is a little too positive about the rooms in this hotel. They are actually quite tiny and basic. Plus the wireless access is shaky. The sports bar is good for watching sports, but its food is lousy. The upsides: the location at the edge of the Kurpark is quite nice(if you visit the region, try to explore the Taunus hills and forests!). There is a train station nearby, which is good for trips into Frankfurt without giving you noise. The little town has some history as a spa with celebrity visitors(Tolstoj stayed across the street). It has several nice restaurants. The main hotel restaurant is quite nice and good, specially pleasant outside on summer evenings when it doesn’t rain. Good restaurant staff!

I was«stuck» staying here for a week when I found out our normal hotel was taken over by seminar attendees. Oh well, too bad for them because this place is way nicer. In fact, it ranks in the top two hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe(Radisson Blu in Spa, Belgium is still #1). The lobby is very inviting with a comfortable chairs and fast wifi. The front desk is staffed by wonderful people, fluent in several languages, and always very accommodating. The breakfast is the tops(great coffee as well) and they also have a sports bar downstairs with the Sky network for futbol games. The rooms are quite spacious and mine had a balcony which overlooked one of Bad Soden’s beautiful parks. The free bottle of water is a nice touch, but no mini-bar(there’s a mini-market in the lobby to purchase provisions). Huge bathroom with nice appointments and a great shower. Hardwood floors in the rest of the room with a firm bed and comfortable pillows. Wifi is not free unless you have a T-Mobile hotspot account. Free parking in their private lot is the icing on the cake. Definitely a top choice if you’re in the Frankfurt area and want a nice, quiet hotel on the outskirts.
