Eftelya became my go-​to fish restaurant for good food and quiet environment. Fish places are difficult to recommend in Istanbul. Everyone has their favorite and they usually swear by them. Usually this recommendations boils down to few personal preferences.
In my case, at Eftelya, I like:
— Service. I like the wait staff. They are always polite and they know me.
— Cibes. I think, when in season, they make by far the best cibes in town.
— Fish soup. This is the first place I tried and liked. So sue me.

«Frischer Fisch aus dem Marmarameer: GÖTTLICH»
Einladung und Empfehlung eines türkischen Kollegen direkt am Marmarameer. Riesen Auswahl kalter und warmer Meze (Vorspeisen), hatten uns aber auch Fisch, Fisch und Fisch fokussiert ;-) Vielleicht etwas Salat dazu! Also einsame Spitze war: 1. der rohe Tunfisch, 2. der gebackene Calamar, 3. der gegrillte Calamar, 4. die gebratenen Garnelen, 5. der gegrillten Sardellen. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frau muss allerdings türkisch können, ansonsten mit Händen und Füßen bestellen ;-) Ich habe noch NIE besseren Fisch in einem Restaurant bekommen als hier! Preislich allerdings sehr gehoben. Resümée: auf jeden Fall nochmal bitte!
