Dürümce

Love this place, i used to live in Istanbul and i’d eat here every week! Durums are so awesome and great service, meze — love it all. I came back three years later and it is my first place to eat every time i come back to the country!

From the outside this Durumce looks a bit cheap and fast food only. But the chain is actually making great food. The Durumce in Besiktas is situated right next to the ferry port and is 3 stories high. There are many waiters that attend you quickly and next to what you order you get free salad and side dishes to go with your durum. Also the tea is offered off charge. On a normal Wednesday evening the place was full with groups of friends, just locals from Besiktas.

Heute war ich in Besiktas und mich überkam plötzlich ein Hungergefühl. Da die Auswahl gerade in Besiktas sehr ausgiebig ist hatte ich mich für den Dürümce entschieden. Er war sehr gut besucht die Preise sind angemessen und das Ambiente ansprechend. Gegrillt wird auf Kohle und nicht auf Gas. Da die Küche und auch das Lokal sauber ist kann, ich empfehlen dort einzukehren. Typische türkische Küche und sehr leckere Adana Köfte.
