This place is awesome! I can’t believe it doesn’t have any reviews yet. Unilocalers don’t really come to Ortakoy I guess, not even Starbucks has a review. Well that’s just fine, it’s not like Ortakoy needs more crowds anyway!
Epope is really a hidden gem in terms of the bar/​café scene in Ortakoy. I haven’t tried any of their food, but their 50’lik beer is only 9tl and they have an amazing terrace with what I think could very well be the best view in Ortakoy. Or at least I think so. The thing is, don’t stop at the top floor — head to the very furthest corner and you’ll see an crazy little metal staircase encased by vines. That takes you to the REAL terrace. Totally awesome place to sit and have a beer or coffee or fresh orange juice or what have you. Don’t miss it!
