This place punches well above its weight. Visitors to the museum is not spoilt for choice, a fact that normally reduce the quality and raise the price of food significantly. Not so in this case I am pleased to say. The roast beef was moist and tender, the goulash was rich, and meatballs worthy their Swedish apellation. The only dish lacking the finesse of the other dishes was the bolognese. Clearly tailored for a child’s palette but not well executed. The freshly baked bread(warm to the touch) and simple salad bar underpinned the solid approach to dining offered at Stallet(the Stables). The name presumably hints at establishment’s prior use. The minimalist interior does not hide the patina or character of the building, neither does it help to reduce the noise of the patrons, which tend to get a touch disturbing at times.
