Great spot for breakfast. Good variety of benedicts. Central location no parking though

Showed up with no reservation, place was full and alive. Food was good all around, cocktails were great. Service was prompt and nice… we would go back, we just do not live here :-)

We went here following a recommendation from a local, and it wasn’t bad. 10:10 am and they managed to seat us on the last unreserved table. 11:10 am we left seeing most tables still unoccupied. The service wasn’t great unfortunately. The food we tried (pancakes and eggs royale) were OK. Very filling. We would’ve preferred the poached eggs to be soft in the middle, and the pancakes to be warm. The coffee was pretty rubbish, but still, a cute place with nice ambiance.

Amazing food and cozy spot to eat. However, when my friends and I went earlier this week, we received subpar service. We had made a reservation but were kept waiting for almost fifteen minutes and finally seated ten minutes after our reservation was scheduled for. We were then seated at a table intended for two people when we were a party of three, despite the fact that there was an empty table for four next to us and another table of four occupied by a couple. Either they forgot about our reservation or they hoped for better clients for the empty table. Our server was very inattentive and snapped «I’m coming» when we tried to get her attention. Altogether, this made us feel very unwelcome. I’m glad I got to try this restaurant because the food really is good (try the lemon meringue dessert), but I will not be returning because of the service.

Working in Östermalm while in Sweden, I discovered this little eatery. I ordered the entrecôte, which was delicious. The wine reduction sauce had just the right texture and flavor to bring out the best in the tender meat. The reason I give this place four instead of five stars is that the fries that accompanied my dish were quite salty. I was quite surprised that I had to rub the salt off to be able to enjoy them, but otherwise a good meal with great service.

So we all know IKEA, and I have been a long-​time fan of the Swedish meatballs. Now I got to try the real deal in a pretty cozy setting.
You can sit outside and inside. There is a bar area which is comfy if you are alone or with a friend. Inside there is also table seating.
Service is great overall — the swedes are very friendly. The hostess didn’t really have much patience for my humor, but I won’t hold that against her.
I ordered the Swedish meatballs and a Swedish IPA called «Amass». Both were fantastic but the meatballs stole the show, hands down. I would be back here just for the food.
Coincidentally I was here with a friend 2 nights ago and we had the charcuterie — also very good. Highly recommended.

Wonderful staff going out of their way to find a table for you even though they’re fully booked. The entrecôte was perfectly prepared with drinks accordingly. The waitress managed to bless us with a memorable evening in the brief timeframe we were given. Coffee and dessert was very nice as well.

Nybrogatan 38 is one of my favourite eateries in Stockholm for a casual meal. The restaurant is not far from the city center and the ambience is relaxed and happy. Additionally, during sunny days you can sit outside and enjoy some crowd watching — always a fun idea.
For breakfast, brunch and dinner Nybrogatan offers a menu with a lot of alternatives to reasonable prices. A tip (for dinner) is that you can order a few small dishes if you are not that hungry, as for example mac and cheese with lobster, bacon-​fried dates or why not gratinated snails? Also, they have a good breadbasket. If you visit this place you need to try the date bread with pumpkin seeds — yummers.
Moreover, I am of the believe that this restaurant serves one of the most price worthy lunches in Stockholm. For quite a while my office was located only a few street numbers away from this neighbourhood bistro. This led to numerous of great lunches here and I never got disappointed.
Another thing I worship about this place is their chambre séparée. It’s a wonderful chamber to gather friends (up to 14) completely separate from all other guests, where you can play your own music and so forth. Sometimes it can become a bit wildly down there, so thumbs up to the staff which despite this always welcomes you with a smile!

Very friendly and helpful staff. What we first noticed was the excellent bread that was served at our table, the dark bread was very juicy and had much flavor. We got a few extra slices upon request.
Our dinner consisted of one orange flavored duck with mashed potatoes and second dish salmon. The duck was very tender and perfectly prepared, as well as the salmon. Both dishes were very tasty.
Price level for two mains were around 350 sek altogether.
Restrooms located on the bottom floor, clean, modern no complaints.

Fun Hip and Friendly. The food was good and a nice wine selection at varied prices was refreshing. As others have said don’t go during prime time and expect an open house this place is just to good.

The place is good. Food, service and the audience up to the highest standard. Be aware: the breakfast is till 10:30. We were not lucky one day: late just for 1 minute and a guy at the reception refused to serve us

Cali flower soup and pasta cabonara were awesome

Perfect spot for starting of a buzzy night in Stockholm. Right of Östermalmstorg on Nybrogatan 38 you will find this cozy little gem. Its not that big so you better reserve a table or prepare to wait for one of their open spots by the bar or non-​reservable tables. But trust me, it will def. be worth some waiting.
Exceptionell food combined with service minded staff and relaxed ambience takes this place all the way. Pricing is very good (or maybe how it should be?) and you can easily go three courses under 400 SEK without the drinks included. I had the grilled Chuck steak which was perfectly tender and truly fenomenol with the sides.
The only downside is that you probably always find this place crowded and having a hard time to get a spot to dine. But having a main at this place for the same price as a fancy burger joint in sthlm should be a no brainer?
I will be back… again…and again…

Last night I finally ate dinner here. And it was SO worth the wait! Delicious, beautiful food, very inventive menu, unbelievable flavor profiles, exceptional service, & a damn fine wine selection. Loved it, & highly recommend! Oh, & an awesome bar.

I was in town briefly before a conference in Finland, and a friend of a friend, recommended this place. The service was attentive and welcoming. The wine selection was plentiful and my pour (a crisp, summer rosé) was superb. Best of all, the food was exceptional. Delicious breads with butter, plenty of salad and small plate options and the entrees were diverse and creative. I went with an arctic char with a cauliflower purée and crispy shallots – divine! I highly recommend this spot

First off — This is for some reason described in Unilocal as a dive bar. IT’S SO NOT A DIVE BAR. Be advised.
It’s a trendy, sort of hipster — but accessible and friendly — spot. We lucked upon two seats facing the al fresco dining, so good people watching. Our server was lovely, and very helpful in explaining the menu. (And running down the street to return my credit card, which I’d forgotten. So also heroic.)
Cocktails were DELICIOUS. If breakfast sounds good, I order it no matter the time. So I had the omelette of the day, which included lobster. THE BEST OMELETTE I’ve ever had. Full stop. My colleague had a series of appetizers, all of which were delicious.
This is off the tourist trap, and clearly a hometown favorite. It was packed.
Fabulous. Delicious. Not a dive bar.

Can’t recommend this enough. I was with a friend visiting Stockholm for a week and this was our first dinner spot. It felt non-​touristey yet served up delicious swedish cuisine. The ambiance was nice and energetic; lots of young people chatting over a beer. Our waiter was quick and when he forgot to bring a plate out apologized and didn’t charge us for a beer. He also helped us two american wanderers find a club to go to later that night!
The food was well-​proportioned. I really recommend the foie gras on scrambled egg appetizer!

I was totally underwhelmed by my hamburger — it was soggy and tasteless. I had to add tons of ketchup.
I think I sadly just made the wrong food selection — I was there with a group of 7 girls — and every other plate on the table looked delicious!!!
The atmosphere was really nice and the service was some of the best I have had in Stockholm — the girls were friendly, nice, attentive, checked back with us often —
I will certainly give this place another shot!

Really like Nybrogatan 38 anytime of day. They’ve managed to have a great breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. If you go with something other than the Dangens lunch it’s a little pricey. Had a omelette with shrimp and it was 175k, steep. but it was very delicious and came with lovely thin cut nicely seasoned fries.
Lastly, though the bar is pretty tiny the drinks /​cocktails are very nice.

Had a celebratory dinner there with colleagues. Lively bar at which to wait for your table… Keep your elbows in or risk knocking the food out of the waitstaff hands as the continually squeeze by. Super menu with something for everyone. The appetizer scallops were great but could have been hotter. My main course of leg of lamb was superb. The dining room Is tight — be prepared to make friends with your neighbors — but overall ambiance is just right for a fun and delicious evening out.
