Went there for dinner with the girls and the place looked really good and the staff was welcoming.
Menu has a great variety of meat, pastas, pizza and risotto. We had the lobsterrisotto, fruti de mare pizza and pasta of the day with mushrooms.
Food was average. Pizza was great but mussels was left in the shell which made it difficult to eat, has to ask for parmasan for the pasta and the risotto was not sticky but kindda fluent. But everything had nice flavours.
Dessert was really really good though. Had the lemon mareng and panna cotta.
The door was open so it was freezing cold in the restaurant.

The tartar was amazing as well as the sweet potato fries. But the calzone was a bit tame. Plus for good service!

Sunday is the best day for brunch and also the best day to «treat yo’ self» so Sally’s seemed like the obvious choice for a delicious meal while I was hanging out solo in Gamla Stan.
When I first arrived the staff greeted me warmly and seated me immediately though once that was done it took a while to get any further help. Eventually a waitress came and gave me a menu and took my drink order, I think she thought I’d been waiting for someone to join me. I decided on the Beef dish with creamy sauce, baked potato and ligon berries and was not disappointed! My meal was delicious and extremely satisfying! Highly recommend this place for lunch!

We chose this restaurant based on the Unilocal reviews. May by I set my expectations too high?
The decoration was a bit too classical for me, but the service was attentive and relaxed from the start. I chose the linguini with seafood and I was disappointed :(
The pasta were good, but the seafood not so much.
For dessert, I had the sweet bruschetta and this was not interesting (one is enough for 2 people). Overall, it was overpriced for the quality that day. May be that was a bad day?

This is my second time in Stockholm, Devon time visiting this place. Awesome food, great service.
The last time I was visited we told the owner we will be back. 3 months later we show up, he remembered us, gave us the same table and remembered what we ordered last time :)
The food is excellent and well priced as well.

A very warm friendly place to eat. The service here is very attentive. The food is full of flavor and the presentation was great.

TREMENDOUS SERVICE
The pizza and salads we had were very good — thin crust with just the right amount of cheese. Since 4 of us shared 2 pizzas and 2 salads, the meal was reasonable, by Stockholm standards. What set this dining experience apart, was the welcoming, humorous and «we aim to please» service. The maître d’ treated us like family. We sat by an open window and enjoyed the breeze and people-​watching. If we were to return to Stockholm, we would definitely go back to Sally’s.

We were hungry from walking around the Royal Palace… We came here in September to check out the Swedish meatballs. They were good. The waiter did not speak a ton of English, which was OK. We got our point across. The food was good and we both enjoyed the meatballs.

After hearing that some restaurants in Sweden serve reindeer, we were on a mission! Found Sally’s by accident after walking through the streets and reading sidewalk menu boards.
ATMOSPHERE:
Indoor & outdoor seating. We sat outside even if we were freezing. High booths about 2′ off the sidewalk. Views of the busy street and people watching.
BEVERAGE:
Spendrups — No wonder I loved it, they’re the same makers of Heineken!
FOOD:
Toast skagen — Appetizer. Traditional Swedish dish; buttered & toasted brioche topped with kalix bleak roe, dill oil, prawns & mayo. Very tasty.
Smoked reindeer — Super tender slices of reindeer meat with a lingonberry & red wine sauce and 1 piece of dumpling stuffed with reindeer meat and deep fried. Very good and not gamey at all. Came with a small dish of lingonberries, 1 asparagus spear, and a small white square of I think it was cheese? Sorry it was 6 years ago!
SERVICE:
Got seated pretty quickly. Our female server was friendly. Food came out quickly.
OVERALL:
Prices were average (a bit high in the area.) There is an over-​whelmingly amount of restaurants in the area so its really difficult to choose. Hopefully my review will make your decision easier!

Without a doubt, this is the best food I eat in the four weeks I stayed in Stockholm. I was on a business trip and tried a lot of restaurants in Gamla Stan area. But, Sally beats them all.
The Reindeer Pasta is the dish to die for. I went there 3 nights in a row but still not bored with the food. The chef and waiter are very friendly too. The chef came down to me and put a hand on me and spoke with me in a friendly manner. I liked it.
I strongly recommend this to any food lover.

Back in July I visited this place in Stockholm’s Gamla Stan neighborhood. I tend to avoid places that attract a lot of attention and particularly tourists. In this case I made an exception and it was well worth the small table we sat at. The waiter actually sat down and had a conversation with us. The reindeer we were after was very good and we came away with full bellies.
In truth there are many fine restaurants in Stockholm. I can’t think of any that were awful. The hard part is the walking. Yes, walking over cobblestones is really hard on your ankles after a while. Perhaps that is the reason for the wooden shoes?

Wir haben an Neujahr hier gegessen. Die Küche ist schwedisch/​italienisch und das Restaurant einladend eingerichtet. Wir hatten dort Pastgerichte für je etwa 140 SK (~15 EUR), welche wirklich gut waren. Die Kellner wirkten leider ein wenig genervt und waren nicht wirklich freundlich, dabei war das Restaurant nicht einmal voll. Aufgrund des guten Essens würde ich trotzdem wieder kommen.

The place was very busy when we had dinner there. The service was maybe a bit too slow, but only a bit. It looked like one of these dubious restaurants (What, they make Swedish and Italian cuisine?) full of tourists, but the food was surprisingly good.
