Delicious food and nice and beautiful waitresses! Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Old Town. Very cozy.

Petit restaurant au top ! L’emplacement est parfait, en plein cœur de la vieille ville, les serveurs sont vraiment aimables et pour couronner le tout, on peut y manger très très bien pour pas cher.
Voici la prestation que j’ai eu en prenant le menu du midi :
— Buffet d’entrée à volonté (céleri, carotte, betteraves, salade, tranches de pain, beurre salé)
— Une grande pizza (au moins 10 pizza au choix, pour ma part j’ai pris celle au jambon de Parme qui était excellente)
— Thé à volonté, avec une dizaine de parfums de thé au choix, du lait, et le tout accompagné de petits biscuits à volonté également.
— Boissons à volonté, au choix: eau pétillante nature, eau pétillante citron vert, eau pétillante citron jaune, eau pétillante orange.
Pour tout cela, je n’ai payé que 89 SEK, soit moins de 10 € à la période où j’y suis allée.
J’y retournerai avec plaisir et je le recommande sans hésitation !

We stumbled upon this place in Gamlastan, right in the Nobel plaza. Yes it is a touristy corner but cozy. I do like the ambiance of the candlelight within a glass vase. We started with grilled halloumi cheese and mixed green salad. Love the cheese, and I was pleasantly surprised with the greens. Then we opted for ham buffalo mozzarella and mushroom pizza, loading up on carbs for my marathon the next day. It was a thin style pizza, so so quality. We also had an apple cider that was clear and sparklinng, but not much alcohol. I opted for a chocolate truffle for dessert, small but rich, a great last bite.
Overall it was ok, but I would pick something else next time.

Great food right on the main square of Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s old town.
We walked in having been advised by the guy at the tourist information that this was a good place to sample traditional Swedish food so we were a bit disappointed to find out that their menu had more pizzas than most pizzerias in Italy. But the atmosphere of the old building kept us in and we were happy to nevertheless find a few traditional dishes on there. |
So we went for the Moose burger which was quite good and the deer which was absolutely delicious. The meat was fresh and melting as it so often isn’t anymore, so it really was a delight.
Service was good even for such a touristy place were the waiters could easily snob you and prices in the normal range around there (so yes a bit pricey but we’re in Stockholm only once I guess!)

Good lunch place at Gamla Stan. All courses have the price of 85kr, which is average acceptable price in this town for lunch I guess. One may choose among three main courses (on my day it was pulled pork, pasta with chicken, owen-​baked lax with potatoes and zucchini) and around 10 sorts of pizza. The salad from the salad bar and a drink is included in the price.
The restaurant is multi-​level and one may move around the tables, so there will be a place for a big company as well.
General impression — good.

Cute little restaurant located in the main square in Old Town.
We stopped in for lunch around 11:30 and there were plenty of tables. But know by noon this place was hopping so getting in may be difficult.
They have a lunch deal that includes salad bar, entrée and coffee or beverage all for a set price.
I had the pork special of the day which was two large pork fillets, fried potatoes, and tomatoes and onion salad. My friend had one of their many pizza choices. Quite tasty and served up quickly so we could get on our way.
If you get a chance you should take a look at their restrooms. Located down a precarious spiral staircase– you feel you are going into the catacombs.. . And given the age of the building that this restaurant is in.. .. You probably are!
Good place to grab a good lunch!

Best Moose burger ever!!! (My first one ever, but who’s keeping track? lol)
Food was plated well (Chef Ramsey would be proud) and the portion was double what you need, so I had a nice snack for later! (They readily provided a container)
$ 25 is cheap for a nice dinner in old town!!!
Great place for a date, romantic ambiance… (dark wood, candles, etc.)
Open late!!! :)

This was a random and awesome find on a self guided walking tour of Stockholm. There are some fantastic seats outside right on the square, but these were all taken so we ended up eating basically alone inside.
If you can make it for lunch hours you end up with some really affordable pizzas and you can help yourself to this little salad bar. Affordable food was impossible to find in Stockholm so we were amazed at how great the food tasted at such a reasonable price.
They were also able to explain to my wife the items that contained wheat and flour as she has a gluten allergy.
