Rudolfino

Food sub-​mediocre. Setting fairly nice, but empty at 18:30 on a «little Saturday» in Stockholm doesn’t bode well. After ordering staff did not ask how we were doing throughout service. I made a complaint about the linguine with mussels. Every bite was sandy and gritty. The waitress said she would tell the kitchen, but then never returned and hid in back of house for the rest of the time we were there, and another waiter brought the cheque with no amendments. In summary, don’t go here!

The restaurant is located on a nice corner in the old city. The service is very friendly and the style inside is a bit like «mama Italiano».
With our two boys we got a friendly service and a good table. I eat a «special Toscana anti pasti» and a «homemade marinated salmon». The anti pasti was a plate with two kinds of salami and three kinds of bruschetta. The homemade salmon was a normal smoked salmon with some potatoes. I know. Stockholm is expensive but this was a bit disappointing. My wife eats a pizza and her statement was ok.
I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant because of the fact that the price Was much too high for a salmon like this. Again, the service was very friendly and the restaurant is good frequented.

When we first stumbled upon this place, the décor and location made us think it might be a tourist trap, however we were very happily surprised. The pasta was homemade and very delicious. In particular, the pasta with sausage in a truffle, oil and wine sauce was fantastic. The staff was lovely and the grappa our server recommended was well presented with warming glass and delicious. Highly recommend!
