After about a week in Sweden, we were craving for some authentic Chinese food. We found this one purportedly selling both Chinese and Japanese food. We were worried that this means that they will not be authentic enough. But we were pleasantly surprised. We recommend the porridges, and the flat Chinese noodle. Very good. Will come back again!

This place does Chinese and Japanese food well, I’m always sus of places that do mixed-cuisine but Shogun didn’t disappoint. The Chinese I thought was slightly better than their Japanese, but it still tasted good. The cha kweh teow(or «rice pasta» as on the menu) was amazing. Didn’t have the chance to go for dim sum but I imagine it to be really good, judging by the menu!

We were wandering around Gamla Stan and came across Shogun. It was about 8:30pm, and I wasn’t hungry yet, and we saw on Unilocal that they closed at 10pm, so we figured we had some time. We came back at 9:30pm and the manager was putting the sign inside. The restaurant was empty, so it made sense to close, since it’s a pretty small neighborhood and doesn’t totally make sense to keep your employees there if there are no diners. I asked if we could get some food, since at that point, I was pretty hungry, and the manager graciously invited us in. I said I only wanted sushi, no hot food, and he said it was not a problem either way. While we were there, another couple walked in, and the manager was just as gracious and nice to them. And they ordered shabu shabu! A lot of places would say«no way!» to serving people hot food, or something as involved as shabu shabu so close to official closing time, but the manager said they could order anything they wanted. The sushi was pretty good, and fresh tasting. My review is mainly for how nice everyone was, and how they weren’t grumpy or rude for having to stay open a little longer. I really appreciated it.

I was really craving congee when I was sick and found this place in Unilocal.I wasn’t disappointed — really yummy fish congee. It’s a must for when you’re feeling under tr weather. I tried out some dimsum as well. My only complaint was the daikon cake was a tad cold still. Lovely friendly staff who speak Chinese(of course)!

I went with two Chinese friends. We ate Dim Sum. It was fantastic. They even had chicken feed. It is one of the few place there you get closest to original Chinese flavors. Personally beside the food was that they served Pu’er tea. A good place for a Chinese taste experience.

Who would have guessed — Stockholm does GREAT dim sum. We tried several dumplings, biggest fans of one with peanuts, dried shrimp and shiitake mushrooms, but all were good. Also excellent sushi and BEER. Certainly worth a stop!

I came here for dim sum with my entire family and everything we ate was delicious! It’s located in Gamla Stan and my aunt said the chef came from France. My favorites were the beef flat noodle and the fried shrimp wontons. Some of the fried foods had cinammon in them which was interesting because it made them taste sweet like apple pie or cinammon rolls. Service was great and very attentitive!
