I still can’t believe this place. Having rated Itamae Izakaya as one of the best sushi joints around I assumed that Itamae Sushi was of the same calibre but man was I in for a surprise. I’m not sure if it was a one time thing but I have never, like ever, eaten that bad sushi (and by eat I mean try to eat as I just could finish it) and that is saying a lot. As an avid sushi enthusiast I have tried a lot of places (and lived in Japan for 2 years so I do have a reference point) but this place sure set an all time low. As that wasn’t enough the staff was unhelpful and just not very nice. I would recommend avoiding this place (especially since Itamae Izakaya, which is awesome, is just down the road), but if you decide to go it is sure to broaden your definition of sushi. ;)

Great sushi (Stockholm Standards). It is a little hard to come by in this city so finding some at Itamae was a blessing.
