I just go there for the miso with mussels. And the sushi is better than Stockholm average. The staff is ok. Not very friendly but maybe they don’t need to be since you order our food at the register.

Excellent sushi. A few more Japanese dishes and some Korean ones(notably lovely Kimchi options). Restaurant is nice enough but fairly cramped with limited seating plus some small outdoor tables in season. Find a spot or take out. Very tasty and good value either way.

I had a high expectation for this ramen because a lot of people said it is the best ramen place in Stockholm. Then I found it on average soy sauce ramen. Don’t confuse the direction with Kimama for sushi.

Ki-Mama is a modest little place, but the service is very good and friendly, & the food good. I had the lunch special of Shoyu Ramen(which is what I came for), Gyoza, rice, & small salad for SEK185, which was quickly served. The Gyoza were delicious. The Ramen were fine & plentiful, but while I certainly wasn’t expecting them at any level that I’ve had(Ippudo, Butao Ramen in HK, etc.), I feel that they could have been better(fresh noodles daily in Stockholm may be unreasonable, but great broth is just time & effort). And for what you got, it was pricey. Overall, I’d recommend it, especially if you were in the area.

This may be the best sushi I’ve had for lunch in the city. There are a few others I really love for dinner but lunch at this price is excellent.

Very good food. Large portions. Great as a take out option. If you want to eat in, the restaurant atmosphere itself is ok, not amazing. Their food is always fresh and tasty. Definitely a good spot to continue to go back to. And the staff is really nice. Oh, and they take Amex.

4 stars for satisfying large portions, a decent limited menu, and best of all – GREATPRICE! Maybe I’m just a big cheapo, but I like being able to go out for a filling, tasty non-fast-foody dinner for two and spending less than 200kr($ 30USD). Didn’t think this was possible in Stockholm, but Ki-Mama basically fits that category. We got the lax-kimchi, chige, and lax sushi for 270kr($ 40USD). It was wayyyy more than enough food. Could’ve skipped on the sushi. Were completely full all night(mind you, we had dinner at like 5:30pm). Lax Sushi(80kr): 5 nigiri and 3 rolls. Very decent sushi. Fish could have been colder in my opinion. I think they use fake crab meat, but I personally don’t mind. Lax-Kimchi(90kr): Raw salmon on top of a generous bowl of rice(even enough for me, as a rice monster) with kimchi, sesame seeds, and dried seaweed; raw egg yolk is optional(highly recommended, makes it creamy and tastier). Fresh fish, very tasty, extremely filling. Rice could’ve been hotter, but not a big deal. Chige(95kr): Big bowl of strong-flavored kimchi seafood stew with(what seemed like) endless pieces of salmon, oyster, shrimp, and scallops. Comes with a large bowl of rice. Even though I’m not a huge fan of kimchi(not a sour/tart person), I enjoyed it and was pleasantly surprised by how much seafood they gave. It’s a very casual place where you sit whereever and order at the sushibar, get your own tea/water and utensils. I prefer this type of dining experience – less stressful. Staff are not THAT friendly but not rude either. If you come for lunch, I think it comes with a bowl of miso soup(got the lax-kimchi and she packed a soup with it). Decent miso – had oyster and no tofu. Basically, if you want a casual dining experience and some pretty good sushi/seafood without blowing all your cash, come here!
