Brasserie Godot

Went here for a departmental night out and have to say the staff are probably one of the most helpful i have come across in Stockholm.
One of our members was gluten intolerant and the staff went away asked about all of the food on the menu, they came back with the answer to not only the food but also the drinks too.
i started the meal with a nice Stockholm brewed beer which again the waiter was very informative about.
My first food course was the Kalix roe with the butter fried bread and onions and then i had the grilled calf entrecôte. All was cooked to perfection.
Whilst sitting at the table there is alot of art on show in the place, which in the case of the lampshades you could buy. i thought this was a nice touch in helping local artists become known.
When i first arrived a the restaurant i expected it to be loud and that i would be unable to hear my companions however this was not the case.
I for one shall be making a return visit.

I had the goat cheese salad here, and it was fantastic. It was one of those dishes that combined flavors in new and unexpected ways that actually work quite well. The only downside was how small the outdoor tables were; the three of us eating were very crowded. Tables were clearly larger inside and outside would have been fine for just drinks.

Surprisingly good steak, excellent old fashioned and a chill enough environment to counter the typically posh ambiance of Ostermalm. Stockholm priced cocktails, 160’ish SEK per cocktail, or roughly 18 dollars.

Eating vegan isn’t always easy in Stockholm, especially in Ostermalm. This place is the exception.
My girlfriend and I stumbled on this place and were so, so, so happy. There is a vegan 3-​course meal that is as fancy as it gets. Seaweed caviar, cashew cheese dip, mushroom scallops. Yum. Great wine too.
Vegans, you must try this place! Call first to get a table. Order wine, because they have a nice selection. Tell them you are vegan and sit back and enjoy.
Also, our waitress, Fia, was the best! She even recommended another vegan meal at a pizza place for us to check out.

Great place for a date. Buzzing but still private. That’s for the restaurant. The bar can get quite noisy, but is still a great place for finding said date to take out for a dinner later on. Godot’s cocktails are a must. Try the Pisco sour. Also, the service is near perfect. Attentive but not intrusive, personal, likeable.

A nice dimly light restaurant in the area of Stureplan without the huge price tag! The drinks were good, and the food was lovely. Fast service and comfortable seating make this place a good place to come to relax and eat well!

I visited this modern brasserie for dinner.
Excellent interior design, minimal, a bit offbeat. Really enjoyed the mural behind the bar, as well as the lighting over tables, and the sound panels on the ceilings. Creative place all around.
The food is what it is, homemade, not challenging, especially, their main course of Swedish meatballs (I had to order this at least once during my first visit to Sweden!). Affordable selection of wines were on offer. Service was friendly and efficient.
One cannot go wrong dining here; they have an inspiring bar lounge to visit, too. I waited there until my table became available.

Nice place, I little bit expensive for EU, but totally ok for Stockholm. Ask for traditional swedish dishes, they are always good.
