Great tasting food, with very nice service. Felt both authentic, but also modern. Incredible Pisco Sour.

Tumi is great flavour, fresh food and worth the visit. My boyfriend and I ordered the classic Ceviche, fried yucca, pork slider and chicken burger (yes its a burger not a sandwich). Every item was delicious and worth ordering again. The portion sizes are good but if you like a bit more food definitely order an appetizer with your entrée. That amount was perfect for me and my boyfriend. They also have a spicy sauce if you ask for it and this was the cherry on top here because Swedes idea of spicy is not spicy at all so this was the first real spicy item we have found.
It does seem like a family owned business and while small it can get so busy with only one server you may need to flag your waiter for something instead of waiting for him to come to you. This isn’t a bad thing if you come prepared and plan on not rushing.
I will be back for sure.

Let´s start with the negative first. So unfortunate that the service was so bad. We were there today (March 14, 2015) and we were curious to see how peruvian food would be in Stockholm. I got the impression that the waitress was the owners daghter who really didn´t feel like working on a Saturday. She was young, probably early 20´s and she was the only person working when we were there besides the chef/​chefs. I ordered a tasting menu of the smaller dishes and for main course my wife ordered a pork burger while I ordered the chicken burger. Everything on the menu seemed so interesting and the restaurant itself is small with peruvian decorations on the wall. For drinks my wife ordered a diet coke but I decided to try a purple corn drink I can´t remember the name of. We both also asked for water.
The waitress seemed uninterested. Not irritated or unfriendly but you got the feeling that this is not a person who will smile and ask you how your food was. We never got the water we had asked for. As we guessed she never once asked what we thought of the food. The purple drink was AMAZING! The flavors are hard to describe but the balance of those was impeccable. Each dish that came in was so delicious and well balanced in flavor that we were surprised there hasn´t been more commotion over this place. When you are that happy with a meal you feel like going in to the kitchen and just hug the chef so I was just praying that the waitress would come over and say something. But she didn´t. Our finished plates were left at the table until she had to remove them because of the main course which needed that space. My wife never got her burger and when we pointed this out to the waitress she said we hadn´t ordered anything else. Fair enough, it was an honest mistake and perhaps she just didn´t understand that we had ordered that as well. But at least say «Oh, so sorry about that» or something!
The burger was delicious and the ketchup and mustard bottles contained two other tasty sauces. As we were leaving I asked if it is possible to purchase a bottle of that purple drink and take with me. The waitress thought about it for a second and said «yeah…but you have to ask for that in the beginning» Why exactly would it not be possible for us to wait for a few minutes we thought. It´s as if she just didn´t wanna have to go through the process of packing it up for us. Besides one person in the corner, were the only two guests there at the moment.
Anyway. This place is like the soup nazi for me now. They can be as uninterested as they like and continue to ignore our requests. The food was just so ridiculously good that it doesn´t matter. They could have slapped my face after each dish. I would still keep coming back again and again. That´s how good the food was.
