Great place for a drink after work or for partying at Fridays and weekends.
The restaurant offers a quite boring menu, but their outdoors bar and serving is fantastic.
Located in a inner courtyard this place becomes even more amazing during the summer season and late summer nights.
For being a restaurant/​bar in the Stureplan area in Stockholm they actually have a reasonable price range on their food and drinks.
Would recommend the place for having drinks in a nice atmosphere but not for their food.

I really like this as an upscale lunch restaurant — it has a nice atmosphere, great service, textile napkins and all that jazz. Lunch of the day is 129 SEK.
I have been here a few times trying different dishes and only been disappointed with the burger, which had a nice spicy seasoning but was dry and cold.

When I first went here I had no idea where I was going. I entered from the one next to humlegården one of the many entrances!
It looked like I was going to an undergroung club but as soon as I steped in to Escalier that changed. The first I noticed was the elegant design, from the beautiful ceiling to the comfortable couches!
It’s a lounge bar with an enormous courtyard where most people were at, the place were pretty crowed when I got there but I came pretty late on a fridaynight!
This place feels diffrent and the atmosphere is great! I will definitely be revisiting here!

Found Escalier last year and ever since, it just got better. Its an upscale lounge and restaurant inside Sturegallerian with an uniqe french décor and inner courtyard to cool of during summernights.
They just opened a new cocktailbar which can provide you with some really advanced stuff if you want. There are a lot of seats, inside and out, but to get a table outside you better hookup with the goddess of fortune or be there early.
There are several entrances, but far from everybody knows about this place. Dont be intimidated if it rains, their outside patio has a sliding roof which provides protection if needed.
Presumably a great stop to grab a drink, before continuing the night somewhere else. So grasp the opportunity to go here, especially during summer, its a great place to meet friends and mingle.

Escalier is something so odd as a restaurant by Stureplan that offers good value for money. Not everybody find their way here which makes getting a table easy. The food tastes very good and prices are reasonable. The perfect place to have weekday dinner with a friend.
