A great brunch choice for the picky one who prefer quality before quantity. Its hard to get a table here, so i wouldnt hope for a walk-in, unless you craved fortune cookies the other night. But if you decide to give it a shot anyway, i suggest you leave your family and friends home to have a better chance scoring. They have an early and a late option to dine, so its up to you if you like to sleep in or not. If you dont wanna be in line to get seated you should be there early. Otherwise you will have to enjoy yourself in the line, while the waiters seat the people in front of you. If you survived this long i guess you got a table are hungrier than ever. You will then have 3 tables start stowing from. And its all up to you, but i started of with some Sushi and soup, and then continued on to the«real deal». The 2nd table consists of colder dishes like salads, salmon and other asian dishes. You do best finishing this table by chugging up some of their tasty oysters. By now you should be done with the warmup, and ready for second phase. The third table will give you noodles, dumplings and meat. This is where you start feeling stuffed and your guilty feelings emerge. Now its time to either back off or decide to go all-in with the goal of achieving divinity! If you reached this far, its only the fourth and last table left. This is where you break the last boundaries and hit all-time-high blood sugar levels. They have all sorts of cakes, pastries and other ridiculously good sweets. This is also the place where it all ends, so once you picked your last round of this, its over… its time to move on!

To be honest, I’m not a fan of asian food but my boyfriend and I tried Berns Asiatiska since we were still in town during midsummer eve and had nothing to do. And the food was really good. I had the tempura vegetables with some delicious ginger soy sauce and the lambracks with a hot salad. It was delicious and I enjoyed every bite. It is on the pricier side, but the amount of food you get makes up for it. The surroundings are beautiful as well. We will be back!

As we were dining I just happened to say that there’s no place I’m so proud of hanging around as Berns ever since I was a kid. Even though this officially certifies as old stomping grounds for me I still feel refreshed and prioritized in a modern fashion(even though I’m not getting any hotter as the years go by). The hotel is updated in a good way, without robbing it out if it’s heritage. Dinners still excellent. The nightclub delivers delightfully odd acts, as usual. And to top it off, the 55+ year old DJ outperformes any other young blood just by doing his thang… I honestly don’t care, I love it.

Went back for a second meal, they had chanterelle mushrooms in a sauce on toast that was tasty but not world class. Their endive salad with Roquefort and walnuts was not quite up to the roasted chevre with beets and pine nuts I had before so today’s vote is a 4 star.

We were expecting a French bistro but we got Asian instead. I ordered the Bibim Bap and hubby ordered the Katsu Don. The Bibim Bap flavors were right, but the overall dish was a little strange … too much meat, not enough vegetables. Plus the meat itself was wrong for Bibim Bap. Hubby really enjoyed Katsu Don. The portions were huge by the way. We were completely stuffed at the end so we didn’t try the dessert buffet, but it looked quite tasty. In the meantime, let’s talk about the wonderful looking/dressed men who frequented this restaurant during our lunch. It was something I had never witnessed before. They were all perfectly dressed and very good looking. I couldn’t tell if it was the restaurant, the area, or a combination of both. It was also Fashion Week so that may have something to do with the impeccable suits. If you like tall, skinny white men who know how to dress for their body type, this is your place. This place gets 4 stars for the eye candy alone.

Didn’t dine at the restaurant but stopped by the bar on the upper floor on a Sunday. Cool atmosphere, but it was 80% males for some reason(which is atypical for Stockholm). The dance floor was a bit odd. A DJ playing and 4 – 5 people dancing while the rest stood around. The bartenders were good, they knew how to make a solid old-fashioned though. From the upper deck you can see the restaurant which looks really fancy. Perhaps the experience eating here would’ve been a lot better than just grabbing a drink at the bar. We only stayed for one drink before moving on to find a better place.

There are many brunch restaurants better than this one-especially for the price. This brunch is completely mediocre. Most of the food is tasteless. The only good part is the sashimi and the desert table, but that hardly warrants a 355sek price tag. Skip this place and try Kung Carl’s backfikan, hasselbake hotel or my ultimate favorite, hotel Gåshaga. They are better prised and deliver much higher quality. If you’re a tourist hotel gåshaga is a bit of a trip but its a nice one. Grab one of the boats that leave near Berns and you get dropped off right at the hotel.

Elegant dining room in one of Stockholm’s grand hotels but a thoroughly modern Asian fusion menu. Ample, well stocked bar to wait for your friends to arrive(a good thing for the chronically early!). Giant menu of all sorts of treats. The waitress explained the family serving style — which was odd to hear from the perspective of a North American diner — is this unusual in Sweden? Ordering slightly less than one main course dish per person provides more than enough, and everything was very delicious — the pinko crusted prawns were crispy and phenomenal. Service was perfect.

If I could split up the stars between **** and ***** I would. Overall the venue is gorgeous, fun and food is consistently good not great. But the dessert buffet/spread is truly fantastic and special. Not only is it presented beautifully, but I’m not proud to say I’ve tasted them all and not a single one is less than delicious.

Fantastic lounge/restaurant in the middle of Stockholm. Part of the Berns Hotel, this restaurant is a fusion of local and Eastern cultures, and the food/cocktail menu is as good as it gets. High quality and, thus, expensive, I had a great dinner time. I would compare it to the Buddha bar Paris, but much bigger and extravagant. I heard brunch is always crowded since every in Stockholm seem to love this place.

I had the brunch buffet at 11:30 on a Sunday. The place is crowded, so book in advance and show up on time. The theme is asian cooking and they serve everything from sushi to chinese food. The buffet is luxurious and pricey(350SEK), but OH. MY. GOD. I abolsutely loved it. I think I had 15+ oysters, 20 pcs of sashimi, I tried every dumpling and salad variety in the place. Everything was of high quality and felt like you could never manage to cook something similar in your life. I am definitely coming back. The dessert buffet was incredibly tasty as well. I like the tiny servings because then you can try the lot. On the minus side is the crowdiness of the tables in the big hall. It’s difficult to zig-zag your way between all the guests when moving to and from the buffet.

Had the pleasure of eating brunch here and I highly recommend it. The brunch included a mixture of Asian food including sushi and dumpling. The food was great and very fresh.
